We really thought the place would have improved since our last visit, since you are now a KOA again. There appeared to be no improvement, the roads were terrible.

Sites were small, very noisy. Because of the special rates for water/electric, seemed like a lower class of campers used this park. Staff was friendly, and restrooms were clean.

The two other campers on either side of us took up too much space we were squeezed in our spot not happy about that for the amount a money we paid to stay and one we of them had their sewer hose not properly attached and there was a terrible smell

We came for a getaway from our house since this is about an hour away. We enjoyed the lake, fishing and most of the staff was nice and efficient. We thought the beds were too hard in the cabins, we were disappointed with the limited store hours and not made aware. Upset the waterslide not being open during the week. This should have been mentioned to us. Other campers had loud parties late night.

This was too good of a deal to pass up. The staff here are great! But, the roads and sites are in really tough condition. Re-gravel and grading is necessary or paving. The playground needs to be cleaned up. The buildings look old and tired. If a complete overhaul was done on the property, this would be a 5-star rating. We also had a neighbor who talked at the top of her lungs after quiet hours!

The bathrooms where not cleaned for 4 days and on the first day I told the person at the front desk the showers where moldy. Not a little mold more like the showers had not been cleaned in months!

The staff was very friendly and warm welcoming. But the campground needs some work, the price went up since it became a KOA. But you really don't see any improvements, needs more gravel on the pads and roads. It's gets way to muddy when it rains, and kids want the game room back and charging a fee to go down a sliding board is a bit to much. You are not renting it.

it was very uncomfortable..lousy service... don't know what they are doing ,,,screwed up my reservation.... lost my phone gave it to another person,,,, i think they did,,,,,not friendly people,,, acted cordial but not interested in being apart of the amp ground,,,

The park is nice. We are in a shady spot and it’s quite most of the time. I would like to see the staff help the campers with rv’s in a more hands on approach. Not all the spots are rv friendly. A little guidance would be nice. Other than that, the staff is helpful and friendly.

Kind of pricey, I also spoke to some seasonal and they didn't give me a good report. Word is KOA bought the place and the 1st thing they did was raise the prices. They also say they want to make it the nicest park in Michigan. Thats a tall order for a group who can't manage to open the camp store on time, and they closed earlier than posted hours both days we were there. Good luck !!!

Muddy sites, old electrical connections, VERY tight sites (we couldn't even put our awning out due to the proximity of the camper next to us), old play ground equipment. Not worth the $55 per night fee!

Staff is very help full and friendly. Only complaint would be camper across from are site were playing music very loud . I under stand that is not the staff fault, but di d not address the problem till after 10 pm.

Noisy...lot 88 had 13 people on it. Boom boom stereo going for hours. Would prefer around just families.

From check in, throughout our stay, and at checkout the staff was phenomenal. The level of customer service and congeniality was beyond reproach. The property itself was absolutely beautiful and had plenty to do for everybody. As a VIP, I can say this KOA and crew are up there with the best.

Sites were too close. Couldn’t have a safe campfire. Office bike rental system was not organized. We camped as a group with reservations made a year in advance and out sites were not grouped together. My understanding is that we were moved from the sites we originally reserved.

Site was very, very small. Neighbors played music and smoked pot until all hours of the night. Nature trail around the lake was very nice. Staff was super nice and helpful upon check in.

This was our 2nd time at this location and we had a great time! There was a mix up with our 2 sites but the camper that was on our site offered to move over and we got the other site which allowed us to still have 2 side by side sites! Everyone involved was great and we were compensated with some firewood and ice! We will definitely be back!!

We had a 50 amp full hookup wooded site on the lake which provided us with spectacular sunset. There is also a walking trail around the lake. Many people especially children took advantage of the lake swimming area and kayaking and canoeing on the lake. The location was perfect for our 2 day visits to the Henry Ford Museum, Rouge Plant, and Greenfield Village.

Our site was incorrectly booked causing us to have to switch sites after arrival. Upon speaking to Todd, he was quite defensive and short with me, and it wasn't my error. He argued until I proved I was correct. Only 2 shower stalls had working lights which caused major backups and inconveniences for many people. This "KOA" needs help, and we hope to see improvements that warrant the new prices.

The roads and drainage need to be fixed. We had to wipe mud off our hoses and cords that were sitting in mud after a minimal amount of rain. There are a few trees on the corners that need to be taken down to allow rigs to turn. Loved the “dog days of summer” special. That discount made it acceptable!

Muddy, puddles, no WiFi, no cable, our pull thru had untrimmed low hanging trees making back in necessary and pull out difficult. Laundry only had cold water wash due to water heater undersized. Old trees were susceptible of falling down crushing a camper/truck. Staff argued that a 43’ site was good for a 41’ 5th wheel with a long bed truck while other longer sites were empty!!

Disappointed in the check-in process. Disappointed that the office doesn't open until 0900. Didn't t feel it was up to normal KOA standards. Exterior showers were terrible. I used one shower that was marginal by the laundry.

Beautiful scenery and awesome shade at the sites. Backing in to lakefront was fantastic. Electric and sewer need upgrades and repair. More gravel is needed on sites and roads to eliminate dust and mud depending on the weather. The playground area could use a little maintenance for pests and more shade of possible. The playgrounds are in full sun and some of the equipment gets too hot to play

Very friendly and helpful staff. Several campsites flooded during the rain, but give it a few hours and the area drains well.

I know it is surrounded by trees so they should be trimmed more often and removing the dead ones spring and fall.. Remove the dead branches, twigs and trash around camp sites on a weekly basis . Also use a water truck to spray the campground roads while grading to keep the dust down. These are not complaints they are suggestions and yes we did enjoy are stay and we will be back to Ann Arbor KOA

I loved my stay except for the noise of campers who were loud in the middle of the night. There should be a "quiet please to respect your fellow campers" at least by 11. There was loud noise as late as 1:30 one night. That would make it hard for me to recommend this campsite.

Common areas were very clean and well maintained, the rustic cabin could use mattresses, but was aok for what it was. Overall though the campground is a big parking lot, like most campgrounds, not my favorite way to camp. The lake was nice though, as were the staff.

Would have preferred a site on the water. Now know for the next time. The staff there was right on cue and very helpful.

There are plenty of larger sites. I just can't figure out why we were given such a cramped site. I had to climb around our neighbors picnic table to use our sewer connection. The site was also a mess. There were bottle caps and the fire ring looked as though it wasn't cleaned in many stays as some ashes had been shoveled outside of it. The roads need to be watered down after an extended dry period

The park was minimally "clean". Roads and sites were not well groomed. Staff was friendly and accommodating but the campground had a "tired" feel to it and is badly in need of a good cleaning and some updating of facilities.

Way to dusty. They need to put gravel down on all the streets and sites. And the park employees were the worst at stirring it up. Driving to fast on golf carts.

We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.
