We had a lot of fun here. The amenities and store were great. The water slide into the lake was neat. It’s a busy place and not many trees near the pull thru sites. The only issues we had were a golf cart blaring music and driving around at night. Also, our site was a little short to accomodate a trailer and truck, we had to wedge in the truck on the end. All in all, we’d stay there again!

Camp is very nice & the staff is very friendly & helpful. Only problem was that the office & store seems to close at different times every day. Other KOAs I’ve been at send a reminder text 1 hour before closing; this would have been nice if they can’t be open more hours.

We had site 5 on a corner and the dust from the road was so bad, we couldn't sit outside and the motorhome and car got covered. We also had a tree limb hit our windshield and break it.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The grounds need some work. Would have been nice to have the roads chip and tarred instead of dirt. Was quite dusty even when going slow. Fairly new ownership so I must give them the benefits of the doubt that they are planning on making upgrades. The lake and amenities are really great. If back this way I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Large campground and lake with walking trail. Nice staff. Recently a KOA again, still improvements to do. Doesn’t feel well kept. Seasonal sites looked messy. Charge $5 for big water slide, not a part of the $75 per night we paid, huh? Pot smokers everywhere, not sure they can stop that but not for us and our family. Weird feel from other KOA’s we’ve stayed. Decided we prefer private campgro

Peaceful. Kids enjoyed riding bikes through the trails, swimming, fishing, made new friends and staff was great. The only downfall store opened too late (9) n was not always opened in middle of day. Also, speed is 10mph, number of children flying around it should be lowered to 5mph for there safety. Other than that...great place. MAYBE OPEN STORE AT 7 WITH FRESH HOT COFFEE N CHEAPER PRICES, < MPH

Very friendly staff, easy move in procedures. I like being able to pick up supplies at the store making it convenient. The sites are laid out well and everyone has been so nice.

Your website said you had activities my grandchildren were looking to do. When we inquired you said they had taken the arcade out and no more miniature golf. There were bees around the playground, luckily no one got bitten. They we wanting t use the water slide but that was being repaired also. Our site could smell sewer quite often and neighbors were smoking marijuana which is now legal.

Very friend staff. Our site was tight for our size of trailer. Please consider putting a pool in. You would be closer to a 5 star rating. Not everyone likes a lake. The grounds are a little run down.

Wonderful staff and fellow campers. Everything was pretty clean but shower curtains need some love. Was disappointed that the advertised mini golf and game room doesn't exist. Also the bike rental was disappointing, being just a few pretty dirty bikes. We brought scooters but couldn't really ride them due to the basically dirt road that covers the campground, which if paved would be much better.

Very relaxing! Staff was very friendly. Did have to ask them to empty the trash near the dump station - it was overflowing for 2 days. They stepped up their game after that. :)

We camped overnight in our RV van. We had a lakeside site which was fine. The gravel area was a bit chalky and not so pleasant. There are lots of trees and if we’d been in the mood, the swimming area looked inviting. The laundry room was clean with multiple washers and dryers. The only drawback was no WiFi service.

Staff very friendly & helpful. It seems this was an older campground turned KOA in Dec 2020. They haven’t been able to update amenities- no putt putt, run down playground, no WiFi towers. They’re working on it! The lake is beautiful & this place has a lot of potential. Water slide was closed during the week due to lack of staff, which was disappointing. Easy access to Ypsilanti & Ann Arbor.

We had a lovely shaded spot, store and staff nice. Bathrooms could definitely use more frequent cleaning, showers too. Grounds need to be cleaned up, weeded and more welcoming.

Our first time with a Trailer. We got a great location on the lake. Easy to park and great amenities. The kids loved the swimming and fishing.

Close by to the Henry Ford Museum. This is a newly acquired KOA from another campground, so I'm told, so I understand it may take some to time make some changes. or upgrade. Road into campground is rough. Shower are clean, but found at times the pressure was low. Nice lake for swimming for the kids. Nice weekend activities it seemed too. Owners were great and hopefully will continue to upgrade

Worst KOA experience. I paid for a 3 day camping trip and got a cabin with nothing to do. Very disappointed

I stayed at the newly established KOA , a few times between july 3rd and June 1st. the first and scond time checked in staff was a little short handed. It is that way everywhere. the lot i stayed in for a week was what they had left do to my last minute needs. That lot under the trees turned to a swamp after rains. overall its a nice park with a pond to catch and release in. Hand packed ice cream

Looks like this campground is new to the KOA family. The setting was one of the most beautiful we have ever had. The lake view was amazing. We will be back.

This was are first time staying here.The staff was friendly and helpful.was told they just became a KOA and are making improvements to the campground.we will be back to stay.

Was very nice, staff very friendly! But goose poop was so severe you had to watch every step while at the swim area and had to sit among it while at the swim area. Was wondering if it could be a board of health issue. Just seems like a easy fix where first thing in the morning someone used a pooper scooper and clean it up some us expected. Everything else was definitely a ten!! ��

We had a wonderful time at KOA Detroit/ Ann Arbor. Our space (pull through ) was big enough for our travel trailer and the truck we use to pull it. The facility are clean and well organized. We will come back in the future. Thank You

You should not advertise wi-fi is available for KOA Guests if it is so weak it can't be used, even at the office. However, the KOA Employee & KOA Manager's House had stronger signals available! I chose this campground because I had a 3 hr meeting Friday on Zoom, but had to find a public wi-fi to use. Really defeated the purpose of staying here!

Extremely impressed with both the staff and facilities. It gives a resort like feeling. It's not just a stay the night kind of place. There is so much to do at the campground and their store has items at a reasonable price...no need to drive anywhere!

The office is very easy to work with as I have been there around a month and I'm still there. The amenities to keep the kids busy are great and the weekend activities are always fun.

We stay to visit family, and will return (this is our 3rd/4th stay). This time we were in a site with a large depression along the passenger side of our RV. When it rained, there was a lake right outside our door. It would dissipate within a day or two but it rained a lot during our stay. We did not use most of the amenities (we were spending our time with family all day, every day).

It was not a nice KOA… in fact KOA needs to remove their name from this campground. It’s old, way too many trees that you can’t make turns if you are driving a class A. It smells like sewage and people were complaining and they were bringing a tractor out with dirt to cover the sewage to stop the odor. It’s really nasty here…needs a lot of help.

It was terrible we were placed between two permanent camper nurse was run down trailers the waterslide was not open the store has minimal hours there’s absolutely no Wi-Fi whatsover, there are no planned activities the swimming area is the size of a small swimming pool the playground is run down there’s no putt putt and there’s no other activities going on it was an absolute terrible stay!

Nice setting, easy access to the lake. Cute kids activities. Nice, clean facilities. Some fellow campers were very loud until very late. Also didn’t love that we had to pay extra to use the water slide (usually all play structures and amenities are included at a KOA?). Also no mini golf or dog park as advertised.

We spent several days camped here in December-January, preparing to travel west for the winter. We needed access to hookups and space to connect the tow vehicle. The site was really perfect for this purpose, even under 6" of snow. The owners were helpful, the rate was great, and from what I could see in the dead of winter, the campground and lake would make for some good camping in happier weather.

Everything was great! Our group will be back! Appreciated garbage pick up at the road daily!! Linda was very helpful and quickly had our bill adjusted for group price. Thank you Linda!
