Door County KOA Holiday General Information

Check-in for RV/Tent sites is 1:00 p.m.
Check-in for Cabin sites is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out for all sites is 11:00 a.m.
Late Checkout Fee: Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Guests remaining on the property after 11:00 AM will be charged a $20 late checkout fee. Please check with the front desk for late checkout availability.

General Store/Registration Office: 
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday - Saturday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pool: Our pool is open Mid May - Early October and hours are 10:00 am to dusk. Our pool is open to the public Monday - Thursday for a fee ($).

Quiet Hours: 11:00 pm - 8:00 am

Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be on this campground.  Be alert and give them distance and respect.  Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash, and cooking supplies. Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

Recreation rental office hours:  8am until 1 hour before the General Store closes.

We now offer propane filling on the campground! Available whenever the Camp Office is open.

Cancellation Policy (Effective for reservations made starting on 10/1/24):
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival. For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.Cancellation Details:
• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Guests must be age 21 or older to drive a golf cart at Door County KOA.

Door County KOA happily welcomes pets! Please respect our Pet Policy so all campers (two legged, and four) can get the most out of their camping trip. 

All dogs are required to be under control and within visual observation of their owner at all times. A six foot leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner's camping trailer, vehicle, cabin or motorhome. No dog should be left tied up and unattended outside the owner's camping equipment. Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet's barking behavior. While we do not have any specific breed restrictions, all aggressive animals will be asked to leave the park for the safety of our guests and their furry family members.

We allow 2 vehicles per site when permissible. Extra vehicles will be charged a $10.00 fee. UTVs, ATVs and Side-By-Side vehicles are not permitted for use inside the campground. If one is on the campground for use on the trails within Door County, guests are asked to take the most direct route to the trail from their site

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. 

• At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  
• A limit of 6 or 8 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced.  That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors.  If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.
  
• RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
  
• Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, and other Lodging are limited to 6 people with exception of the Deluxe Cabins which sleep 8, these are limited to 8 people. 
  

If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Your visitors are welcome for no additional fee. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk. Visitors will need to pay a fee to use the pool area.

Trash pick up is between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm – for everyone's safety, please do not leave trash out overnight. An additional $50 cleaning fee may be charged to sites and cabins with excessive debris such as broken beer bottles, burned pallets, nails & trash in fire pits, excessive trash left in the cabins, etc.

If you arrive after the Registration Office has closed, please go to the night registration box located at the front of the store. A map with directions to your site will be in there. Visit the Registration Office in the General Store in the morning to get your pool passes and car parking tag.

We are located in the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin, which presents some unique difficulties when operating a wireless internet network. During peak usage times, our wi-fi can be limited. The network should support basic browsing like reading emails, checking social media, or looking up directions to a local restaurant. At this time, you may have difficulties streaming videos or downloading large files. If you are having an issue connecting from your campsite, we recommend moving closer to the camp store / restaurant. We are working with vendors to enhance our network's abilities in the near future. We appreciate your understanding!

Door County KOA relies on our own well water system, which is tested monthly by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. This means that the water you use while camping with us is naturally sourced from an aquifer below ground and often contains more naturally occurring minerals and fewer chemicals than if it were from a city water supply. Roughly 25% of Wisconsin's population drinks water drawn from over 800,000 wells across the state.

Jami and Jeremy Collins are an experienced campground management and maintenance team with a strong background in outdoor hospitality, guest services, property operations, and facility maintenance. Together, they have managed multiple RV parks and campground properties, bringing years of hands-on leadership experience to the camping industry. Prior to joining Door County KOA Holiday, Jami served as General Manager of the McKinney KOA in Texas, where she oversaw daily campground operations, guest services, staff management, and property maintenance. The Collins team also managed two RV campgrounds and a storage facility in Texas, building extensive experience in campground operations, financial oversight, team leadership, and guest relations. As the management team for Door County KOA Holiday, Jami and Jeremy are committed to creating exceptional camping experiences while maintaining the high standards guests expect from the KOA brand. Their combined expertise spans campground management, resort operations, property maintenance, customer service, and team development. Known for their hands-on leadership style, strong work ethic, and dedication to guest satisfaction, Jami and Jeremy bring a welcoming, service-focused approach that helps make every stay at Door County KOA memorable.
