Cabin was nice. Emplyees were very rude. The store sucks. The man who came and looked at our firepit was the first nice employee we met. The slide was down. Tjat was never down before unless ot was and was fixed right away. Just not a friendly place lime it used to be. My brother and nephew had their own sites and they all said the same. Such a shame. Used to be great. Will try one more

We had a wonderful weekend and the campground was very clean and the staff very accommodating. We are coming back in August this summer.

Staff was very helpful and friendly with providing services. Went out of there way for us. We have been camping there back when it was quiet woods. Love the second pool. Like the live entertainment on weekends at night. We booked again already for Father's day weekend. Very much appreciate the much kindness always.

Stayed in site 56, the worst layed out site we've ever been in, who puts trailer hook ups on the wrong side of the site, we ended up having to put our trailer at a 90 degree angle just to reach the sewer connection. Site was supposed to be a pull in, or back in but there was no way to do that because of the pine tree in site that blocked the camper door and awning. Unfortunately we won't be back

The only thing disappointing about the campgrounds were the fire pits, too large to put a grill on to cook your food isn't that what camping is for cooking food Outdoors also the fire rings got extremely hot.

Our only comment is that no one refilled the toilet paper in the men’s bathroom or cleaned and fixed the men’s 1 toilet. We did.

Campground was nice but the seasonals are allowed to behave any way they want. They were up with loud music until 2-3 am. Teenagers driving golf carts with loud music and yelling. I read some reviews prior to arrival that said this was a party campground, but we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately those reviews were right. So much potential here, it’s disappointing.

For the most part our stay was wonderful. We were in the back part of the campground. My only issue would be the bathrooms back by us. The toilets were consistently plugged and there was often no toilet paper. The bathrooms were clean but the toilets and toilet paper were an issue.

Very nice campground. Site we where assigned had someone in it already. I would have been nice if they double checked to see if those people really did just decide to take a better spot. We where left with a spot by the dump station and directly across from the only showers/toilets in the campground it seemed. The campground employees where very nice. Need more full hookups!

We pride ourselves on customer service. I'm glad that aspect of your trip was positive. I am not sure what the situation was on your site. I'm glad we were able to resolve it and get you into a pull thru. We recently added 24 sewer spots to the 6 that were already here.

I was disappointed about the inconvenient "fire rings",Unable to cook over them. We were never told we had full hookup sites and not informed of the cost increase. We never even used the hook ups. Bathrooms up front by the office were filthy all weekend. I'm not sure I would ever come back to this place unless changes are made.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. It was not our intention to upcharge you without your knowledge. I see you did make the reservation prior to the sewer sites going in. If you would like to give us a call, I'd be happy to refund the difference or apply it to a future reservation.

Lack of staff made it difficult to utilize and enjoy all the aspects of the facilities. Waterslide still not working from last year. Will be back and hopefully more staff and slide working.

The waterslide was working all of 2020. We just didn't have the staff to man it and therefore had limited hours. I have been waiting on the part from the pool company for 2 weeks. Some things are simply out of my control. I hope you were able to enjoy some of the other planned activities.

Deluxe cabin was superb old and nothing was working. We had worst first night with kids. Technician came and fixed it next day though. Cups were leaking. Would never recommend this!

Run down amenities. Our site (126A) was right behind three loud, foul mouth abnoxious party sites. Music and swearing until after 4:00am Saturday morning....then all day Saturday and Into Sunday morning at 4:00 again. Someone must have complained about the loud music so that stopped Sunday.....but instead we listened to swearing. Multiple visitors daily to that site.Our view was their campsite.

It was a great weekend, we did have trouble with the heat in the cabin. It took them a long time to resolve it, I realize it was a busy weekend, but still took a long time to resolve. Should have just offered us the space heaters right away and not worried so much about the furnace not starting. You also said we will be compensated for our troubles and still no word!

The location is too congested, RV and cabins mixed no proper directions to the cabin… no sign of cabin number you can see it from car.. I spent 10 minutes to find my luckily my sister had other cabin booked next to it so I could find it. Cabin was ok the patio and the grill in patio was not cleaned at all so could use it. I been to other koa locations will never think of coming back to this

I camped with a family member and it was really frustrating that we could not get sites next to each other. I also did not like the heavy golf cart traffic

Fun campground. Lots of kid things (3 pools, large playground, fun train rides), quiet. Restaurant and bar at campground. A few things that could have been better: - they need to work on getting better WiFi, 1 shower was cold and door didn’t shut, mini golf you have to pay for. Other KOAs it’s free.need to mark pavilions on the map and on the building. better upkeep under playground

We camped with friends on site 167 and 168. NEITHER site had a fire pit! It was a relatively cool weekend and a fire was necessary. I talked to the front desk and was told, “Oh. We are running low on fire pits”. They didn’t offer any type of solution, apology, nothing. Just left it at that. We ended up driving home to get one. We are fortunate we live close enough. Not everyone could do that

Our site did not have a fire ring. When addressed at the office there was no urgency or care that it was missing or an offer to get us one, was told that they were short on them. My $15 pizza was a glorified frozen one. Bathrooms were not cleaned throughout the weekend.

The stay was great but then new fire rings are way to tall can’t fit a truck pod around it decent and truthfully I think your way over priced for wood I heard a lot of people talking about it but I always have a great time there

We enjoyed our stay over memorial weekend. It was very relaxing and the neighboring people were very friendly. My kids stopped up for a few hour visit and enjoyed it as well. I forgot my cooler outside worried it would be missing the next day, to my surprise it wasn’t touched. Great people!!

We had a great stay and the staff was wonderful. The only gripe we had, and it's becoming a problem at most campgrounds, is the amount of golf cart traffic. It's absolutely insane and creates so much dust.

Door County KOA, has only been a KOA for a short time. This KOA needs sometime to get up to the standard that we have come to expect. While we were there the waterslide did not work, the heated pool was not heating, and the bathroom needed repair work. Also some of the staff was very new and did not know some basic knowledge of the campground. I would give this KOA time to improve.

You are correct. We are a new KOA. I have been waiting on the repair of the slide and pool heater for 2 weeks. Some things are out of my control. I'm at the mercy of the people who can fix it. I hope you enjoyed enjoyed the big pool and other planned activities.

It was so relaxing and so much activities. Never a dull moment. We come to door county once or twice a year and this is going to be our new campground. Wonderful employees, friendly and helpful.

The toilets were disgusting and broken. A huge holiday weekend and they were not kept up. Had to ask 4 times to get a fire ring. The new fire rings are a joke. Impossible to cook over and give no heat on a cool evening. Price are getting too high, plus charging extra for kids over 6 is ridiculous. This place was more enjoyable when it was Quietwoods.

The stay was fine but the attitude of your staff left very little to be desired. Its very obvious that there are staff members who clearly don’t want to be there and its a chore. The events coordinator guy was always happy and pleasant.

Backed up toilets, not too code electric boxes on every site! They are all attached to living trees! Everyone there has no idea of events and just started working there! Terrible food! Literally utter chaos! Most definitely not up to KOA standards and I assume will be shut down quickly!

We're sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. As you may know we only took over about a year ago and are in the process of making upgrades. We are short staffed and I personally did the cooking. Not my forte. I feel bad for my husband. I do hope you will try us again.

Bathrooms should be cleaned early morning so when you go to shower at 8am you’re not turned away by the cleaners. Try a time slot sign up next time you have a face painter so kids aren’t waiting in line for several hours. Get the water slide working. Bring back more live music!!!! Bring back Friday fish fry!!

Thank you for your feedback. We do have 3 bathhouses to chose from. They are marked on the map. It is obviously not my choice to have the water slide down. I am at the mercy of the pool company that fixes it. When they were here they brought the wrong part. Some things are simply out of my control.

When I booked September 2020 I was told Pool would. Be open it was not they charged me 20$ more each day fo children over 7 years old like wow pricy with nothing too do also they closed Sunday at 5 pm no post so we went without firewood so had to be in camper early

Wonderful campground with a very nice deluxe cabin accommodation. This facility is large and heavily wooded with many recreational facilities. There are long term residential campers at this location, so it's a very unusual KOA. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Very nice campground and we will return again. It was early in the season and many facilities/activities were still being setup such as dining services. Would like to experience more next time.
