I stayed here one night in my 35' travel trailer. I have stayed here several times on my travels West and I always look forward to this stop. The staff are nice and helpful, and it is east to get off and back on I-40. The park is always clean and nice, and they have some food service too, which is very nice after a long day of traveling. I will be back and one day I will stay a little longer.

Bathrooms and laundry were clean. Bar/restaurant had great food and service although hours were a little short. Only real problem we had was the wind.

It was a very windy day & the big KAO sign was a very welcome sight when we arrived. The staff was very friendly & made us great pizza to eat. We will definitely stop at the Elk City KOA anytime we are traveling through Oklahoma.

The weather was cool, but the hospitality was great!! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The bathrooms were beautiful!!!

Such welcoming staff and a very clean campsite area, plus INCREDIBLE camp site facility restrooms/showers! Would definitely recommend this site for all who travel this way.

We stopped there after seeing the sign on I-40. We had called for a reservation farther down the rode but they didn’t call back until the next morning. I cut the wiring harness on my trailer and needed it fixed. Their utility man wired it up in 30 minutes and wouldn’t take any payment. Valuable Employee!!! Highly Satisfied with there customer service. Thank you

We were going to arrive just before closing, and needed propane. They were ready with propane as soon as we arrived. Nice little bar area and a great dog park. Even though the manager had recently passed away, everything was in great shape, staff was awesome.

No one at office when checking in or out. Moldy food in container in cupboard. Plastic fitted sheet on Queen bed and mattress disgusting. Fitted sheet on bunk disgusting. Drain in shower didn’t work. No easy way to watch TV, bed wrong direction and space between bed and wall so you couldn’t lean back.

I had snow blowing in on my head. The water froze. Toilet froze. The two heaters were not effective at all. May I suggest that if you continue to rent in the winter-winterize the cabins. I love the concept of the cabins, though.

Very much enjoyed our stay -- even with the freeway noise, it was a great respite from travel. Stacy was an excellent host!

No communication the whole place was closed for Covid. Wasn't told they weren't going to do propane or food from their location very bad business. I understand sick but let your travelers know things are closed for illness.

Run down and sites are poorly maintained. Whoever built the showers must be a munchkin, I’m 5’2” and had to duck to get my head wet. And worst iof all the shower floor is slanted to the drain at a steep angle so you have to straddle the drain…ok if you’re a cowboy I suppose. The bathrooms are clean but during our one night stay it was freezing cold and the ceiling heater was blowing cold

Traveling thru and Elk City was convenient. Check-in and setup went well. Lot not paved but level. No cable but great antenna reception. Friendly and helpfull.

Run down, sewer back up, had to try 3 dumps drains before we could dump. Neighbors flooded with God knows what.

The lobby is a bar. The wifi doesn't work. When I called the bar to inquire about the wifi, I was told to walk to the office/bar where I might be able to connect. There were noisy trucks driving around in the evening (leaving the bar?).

First noticed, no security locks on bathrooms/showers. Shower heads were stripped--wouldn't work or very little pressure. Waited 10 min. for hot water. All mirrors on wall resembles carnival effects of altering appearance while shaving, etc.

Very nice! Had a pizza in the tavern and it was good. So glad after a long drive to have it available to us! Would stop again!
