Very friendly staff running this KOA made you feel like family. Great little pub on site and delightful toco soup served in the small diner. We will be back our next trip across Oklahoma!

We were on our way home. This campground is very convenient to I40. Our spot was right by the swimming pool. It was a small spot but thankfully the park was not too busy. Our water spigot barely worked. I had to get water from the campsite next to us. That worked fine. Never got to talk to anyone since they were closed when we arrived. It'll work for a "on the way home, one night" type of stay.

Site was very uneven. Everything wanted to roll to the right side of the rig. The bigger problem was the hook ups. Sewer was located slightly uphill from the site making it unnecessarily challenging to empty the black water tank. In addition, sewer was backed up making the process frustratingly slow and messy. It’s close to the highway as well, so road noise is significant.

I've stayed here ½ dozen times since 2018. It's a ideal location on I-40. The couple that runs it is very nice. I like the little pizza kitchen/pub they have. From a infrastructure point of view it's an "old" RV Park. Low water pressure including the facility showers, problematic electrical posts, and on this stay, a plugged up sewer drain. PLEASE !!! Fix this place up.

The campground seems to be well taken care of and the staff was friendly. My main complaint was that no one was was wearing masks in the office or in the adjacent cafe/bar during this COVID crisis.

It would be good customer service to show that you care about your customers' health by wearing a mask indoors when you are checking people in. If you don't want to wear a mask, then maybe you can offer self check-in, or do it outdoors.

Small quiet park. Friendly staff. Small tavern with food. Good hookups. Easy off-on I-40 located on old Route 66. An older park in good condition. I visited one night in a motorhome towing F-150. Site was just long enough to fit my 62' rig. Perfect distance from my previous stay in Springfield Mo.

Easy to find, clean sites but just a late night in, early morning out. We never met anyone as we were a late arrival. It was winter so maybe 4 other RVs arrived after us. A good safe place to hook up for the night.

Fix the hot water issue in women's bath house! Yes. It's western OK, and water is valued, but running the water at the sink for 15 minutes to try to get it hot (unsuccessful) is such a water waste. Despite the signs about the reversed hot and cold shower faucets, and the instructions to remove shower head first, turn on hot water, and then replace it, I didn't obtain any hot water in 2nd shower.

Campground was adequate for an overnight stay while traveling through the area. Restrooms were very clean and modern. The only downside is the highway noise, to be expected for a campground with easy freeway access

Great place for a night or two. We stayed 2 nights so we could go to the National Route 66 Museum just 10 minutes away. Long level sites, great dog park (the big one, they have 2). The store was nice and they have a bar! Would stay again in our travels.

This is a smaller campground that we greatly enjoyed. It has lots trees with a surrounding wide open spaces and views. We enjoyed a lovely sunset and the following morning enjoyed the lovely aurora before the sunrise. The staff member directed us to a local convenience store along Historic Route 66 which was lots of fun. Clean and well kept.

Nice campground off I 40 easy on and off for a night stay. Staff friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Would recommend and stay again.

This was the most run down KOA I have ever been to. The showers were terrible and everything about this KOA did not even come close to meeting the cost. Never make a stop here.

I know now is not the best time of the year to be writing an RV park. The Elk City KOA seems to be a little wore out. I tried to follow the “hiking path” to the lake. It was non existent! I ended walking a hard road and may have trespassed to get to the lake. Ok for a one night stop if all you want to do is go to sleep.

After staying in several other kale ways across the country, we were a little disappointed in this campground. It was practically empty, because of the time of year. However, the few motorhomes that were there we’re parked right next to each other in a cluster. I would’ve thought to at least spread the motorhomes out. The 50 amp feed was loose. There were no cleanup bags in pet area.

Very welcoming & friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms & shower. Dog parks were much appreciated. My kids loved the park. We will return in warmer months to enjoy the pool & rodeo in town. Best RV park for that area!

We needed a quick stay for the night due to an unexpected emergency so we pulled into this KOA and there was still a spot (50 amp) available for us. The following morning, we went up to office to get some breakfast, coffee, and pay out. The attendant was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks again, Campers from TX

This campground is in the middle of no where, but was quiet. Check in was a breeze with the reservation details on a clipboard outside the office.

Came here for one night stay over. The men’s bathroom was not very clean and needed some attention. Otherwise the location is close to the highway and makes for a easy pull off for the day.
