We had a good time overall. There were lots for the kids to do. We stayed in the rustic cabins and had a few shortfalls during our stay. Bathrooms kept clogging and after the weekend were locked so they didn't have to be cleaned. Left 2 bathrooms for 8 cabins. We had 9 in our two cabins alone. Several activities scheduled where no one showed up to run them. Disappointing for the kids

The new owner cares a lot about his guests. We have been going here for many years. The beach is nice and things are maintained well. It's a nice place for families.

We had a nice time! The swimming area was really nice! The cabin was more spacious then I thought it would be! The barrel train was my sons favorite part! My other son loved the porch swing! We are looking forward to making many memories here! The whole staff was very friendly the girls at the counter we super sweet! And Jimmy was great!

Hope new owners will update cabins & inflatables in pond. Could use more showers, better visitor parking.

We had an excellent time time staying at Emmett KOA. Our cabin was very clean and the staff was amazing. There was plenty for the kids to do. The lake was so cool while swimming with the catfishes. Huge perk for my 8 yr old daughter and 8 yr old grandson. We will be back

We enjoyed our stay at the Emmett KOA. The campground was clean and well taken care of. We rented a RV at the campground. We weren't overly impressed with the accommodations and probably wouldn't choose to stay in one again. In the future we would choose to visit for the day, or bring a tent.

Everything was great except for our neighbors in C05 They were wasted the entire time, their dog was always off of a leash, their children were shooting their cap guns at 6:30am and the sheriff department were at their cabin for some kind of issue besides what we witnessed

We had a great stay! Lots to do! My cabin needs a few upgrades like a larger TV and new bed mattress!!! Otherwise a great little cabin!

This was the best experience being a first time camper. Our children were able to enjoy camping without us actually owning a camper. The rental campers were worth every penny and gave us memories that they will cherish. I wish you had more campers to rent, these are always booked and we would camp here more often if they were available! Rental campers give a different experience than cabins!!

The staff was outstanding. They always have things to do for the kids!! It was clean and well kept. You can't ask for a better pond for the kids to swim in!! Ok now the bad, bath house smelled realy bad everytime I went in it,I don't think it was frome use,It smelled like a backed up septic. It was expensive to stay there, we rented a camper! All said if you have kids GO!! You won't be sorry!!

Easy to check in. Enjoyed the cabin; just right for us. We enjoyed the planned activities. First time we stayed three nights and we decided to do it again next year.

We stayed at RT2 camper rental and it was a beautiful rig. The only downfall was the beds. They were ALL hard as a rock. This was disappointing as we really only used the camper to sleep in. We didn't cook or even hang out in there. It was solely for sleeping in and 2 days of no sleep really affected us. For the future I would highly recommend putting some type of foam mattress topper on there. T

Besides not having power for hours, a leaky window and having to remind that we paid for wood, it Wes good.

Thank you for your feedback, we will be looking into the window issue. Our Emmett and Riley Township area did lose power on and off for two days. DTE was working on it as quickly as possible as they explained it was due to high temperatures.

We loved it! Cabin was clean, a lot of supplies we could use in the kitchen area. So many activities for the kids, we were there 4 days, and no one was board �Ϧ. We will absolutely will be booking again.

The fridge went bad ruined all of our food, the owner acted like we inconvenienced him by brining it to their attention. It was 7pm on July 4th not many restaurants were open so we ended up at McDonald's. It wasn't a big deal to the owner that we lost $70 in food or that we had to try and find some where to feed our child, he was to busy drinking and enjoying his 4th

Wonderful hosts and staff! We stayed in a Deluxe Cottage and the mattress was AWFUL. You couldn’t move an inch without it creaking. Made it impossible to sleep. Only other issue was guest parking - not enough of it and not enough handicap spots. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Not sure we’d return to the cottage due to the bad mattress. Please replace :)

Had a great time - grandkids loved it - lots to do. Suggestion: Parking area for our cabin needs some work to handle rain - it was like walking on quicksand.

Gypsy moth caterpillars and their poop was everywhere, trees should have been sprayed. My cabin patio and fire pit was under water all weekend. BBQ didn’t work properly. Air conditioner didn’t work properly. But the kids loved the lake and beach.

when I arrived to check in 6/11/21 didn't have a great greeting. the young girl at check in was upset and rude. she was complaining about being left alone and she stated I can't believe they left me here alone on a check in day. the phone rang and she picked it up hung up and said I should just walk out. other then the experience checking in we had a great stay.

This is an annual trip for us. This kids did miss some of the Father’s Day activities/breakfast but we understand COVID restrictions are still in place. Still had a great time. One thing that needs some extra effort though is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. This is typically a huge plus for this location but not this time. Certainly not as well maintained as in the past. No tp, messy, clogged

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind. The park was clean and easy to navigate. Our cabin was perfect size for our family of 5. The owner went out of his way to wish my son a Happy Birthday. My family and I will be returning soon. Andrew C.

We will most definitely be back again. I love how this campground is small and comfortable feeling, the beach was so warm and easy to swim in, my kids enjoyed every activity - jumping pillow, train ride, playground, beach slides, etc - the staff was all friendly and accommodating. The pizza from the little food area was decent and the wings were great We loved it!!!!!

Everything was great. The only constructive feedback to offer is the check in was pretty slow. The employees were working hard but there weren’t enough people to handle the Friday rush. Otherwise awesome trip!

My only complaint is the one car at a site rule. It should be 2 cars because parking on the street was scary. The fish were biting and drew blood.

Campground activities were a hit but the rental RV we rented was not worth the money we paid to rent it. Front gate never worked properly when scanning in. Need someone out there with an iPad checking people in allowing already registered visitors to get in without waiting for campers to register. Management was quick to fix all the issues with our rented RV.

Our cabin was really dirty upon check in - it was obvious that it had not been swept as there was TONS of visible dirt/debris all over the floor. We also found dirty socks from a previous camper on the floor. Microwave did not work even after flipping the circuit breaker for the kitchen area. For $150/night we expected a clean cabin with functional amenities. Pretty disappointing.
