A beautiful, family friendly campground. New owners are amazing to work with if you’re having any issues. They are working hard at some improvements that should make it even better

I know you have heard about the gate many times but seriously? If you can’t change the gate, change your signage. Make it clearer that you have to park before the gate and walk to the office. And I think it’s so petty to charge for more than 2people at a site. Nickel and dimming gets old.

Very disappointed to find out the customer appreciation weekend is now a week earlier so we lost our site that we had for years for customers appreciation weekend. Now we get to pay full price for this weekend next year….seems very unfair!!!

Only one exit and there was a backup for those who did not need to use the dump station. Need to either widen the roadway or have another exit for those who do not need to use the dump station.

It was a great time but the sites are small and there is a lot of mud and dirt which made it almost impossible to use our site so we went and hung out with friends at theirs. No big deal albeit, I would not like to be in the mud when camping. Site 29.

Indicated at booking a 30’ travel trailer. Placed on W02, long enough, but a tree right in the middle and electric box was 13’ from it. Left no room for slide out or awning. Staff was very nice, especially Lauren, and moved us. Either trees should be cut, or W00 W01 W02 should be pared down to 2 sites. Another camper had same issue, staff told them “oh well, either use slide or awning, not b

Camped her many many times and very disappointed this year. The attention to detail, friendliness and overall experience lacking with new ownership. Paid for a pump out during our stay. New Owner took my cash and never pumped the gray tank. Talked to him about it the following morning when I noticed and he did nothing about it nor did he give me money back.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed during your stay. Our honey wagon service does include both tanks to be pumped out. We do ask that someone is on site while we pump out due to all trailers being different valves and tanks. We did offer to return the next morning knowing one tank was unfound.

Nobody came to guide us to our site (evening). We were given a spot reported to fit a 36 ft trailer. The trees are so close together the people across the road had to move so we could get far enough forward to back in (over an hour to wiggle in the spot!). Then they ride up & tell us if we didn't leave by noon they would charge us! It wasn't even noon & we were 10 minutes from done! Never again!

Clean. Friendly. Feels like you are in Northern Michigan. Nice small lake for fishing and swimming in summer. Sites are nicely laid out. Our patio site had brick paver patio, gas grille, picnic table, patio table with chairs and umbrella as well as fire pit. WiFI can be spotty but thats to be expected. Very quiet. One of our favorite places

We love Emmett KOA. It's our favorite weekend destination. The new owners were very friendly and accomidating.

All in all a great campground and the new owners are doing great. The DJ music was a bit too loud and could have been turned down a bit.

Just a get away for the weekend, but a very nice park. Was just 4 sites from the playground and thought it would be louder than what it was, but wasn't.

If you're looking for a friendly, family Campground in a wooded setting... this is it. New owner, Jimmy assisted us when a large limb fell on our trailer. He got his ladder, climbed up on the roof to inspect it. Then he had one of his guys come to straighten out a metal rack that was bent up. The rest of our stay was very relaxing. We will be back next year!

We stay every year and it's our close to home favorite. The only areas to improve are the check in process. On Fridays have someone with a list reservations at the gate, let people in and then have them come back up to complete registration. The line out to the road is bad. Also invest in good wifi and you will have more guests during the week.

Great family experience! Our son loved the playground and Gaga Ball Pit! Our family enjoyed fishing and just being able to relax. The overall campground size is small which makes it quieter and more relaxing than larger, louder campgrounds.

This was a late season getaway that we thoroughly enjoyed. The Emmett team works very hard to keep the campground clean! WIFI connectivity would be a nice addition.

It was a really great stay! We loved the DJ and all the kids activities. The added adult activities were a nice change (the chili cookoff and wine tasting). The playground was nice and newer but could have been a little more toddler friendly. My only complaint were the bees on our site were awful. Otherwise I would definitely refer to friends and family.

We enjoy camping at Emmett KOA it’s very family friendly as well as the staff is and they are always willing to assist anyone if they need to. The new owners are doing a great job and it shows! If there are any concerns or issues they address it as soon as they can. It’s nice to see they are adding more activities on the weekends. This is our favorite place to camp!

Very disappointed! I have camped many years at this Campground for the Labor Day weekend. Paid for the Honey Wagon to be pumped out on Saturday , Never showed up! They came and pumped me out Sunday which I though was both the gray and black tanks. Went to shower in my camper on Monday and the water was coming up in my bathtub! There is no way they pumped my gray tank! Bring Chris and Debbie back!

Staff is not as friendly as it was with previous owners. Just be prepared for firm and direct communication. And please follow the 11:00 PM Quiet Hours. Our friends were told to talk quiet and only to be heard within their campsite. They do walk and will not be kind with you.

It was a fantastic stay per usual!! So many fun activities for the kids!! Great and friendly workers and the kids had a blast on the new jungle gym in the water and the big blue ring! Already booked for next year!

Great place for a holiday weekend. The campground is close to home. We like the obstacle course in the pond, and the beach. I don’t like that the electrical box was in the middle of the site. All the rest were in the center. The staff are great. Friendly and helpful. We already reserved our site for next year. The line dancing class was fun. I would recommend line dancing!!

It’s always amazing, the sites are comfortable. Activities for kids are on point and services available. Everything is within walking distance and enjoyable for the whole family! A great place to stay that’s close to home.

It was a great place. The only thing that bothered me was at night there was a ton of older kids on the playground until like 11 and there was parting going on til like 1. Other then that it was a nice place to stay.

We have been staying there for years. Never ever have I been called names, made fun of by security Ed. I understand that he has a job to do, but judgement comments are unnecessary.
