The staff were great, they had awesome pancakes for breakfast and clean bathrooms, but the tent sites are tightly packed together with little privacy and no trees for shade. They may have a privacy fence between tent sites, but your tent may be only 5 feet from your neighbors. The smell from the horse corral was not pleasant either. We have visited Estes 4 times, and this was our least favorite.

I wouldn't tent camp at this location again. The tent sites are so close to the main road. The location of the KOA is great and close to everything. We said that we would like to come back and try the cabins next time. But for $60/ night to sleep next to a main road wasn't ideal. The bathroom/ shower facilities were great if you didn't mind having to wait in line for 1 of the 3 showers.

It was a nice KOA, the tent area showers and restrooms were nice and also close to our site. Our site was able to fit both our tents. Parking was a little tight because we were next to a corner spot, but we made it work. Only negative was the traffic noise.

We had a good time at the Estes Park KOA. We liked the playground, pancake breakfast, and the chipmunk at the campsite. The owner was incredibly kind and helped us make s’mores when it was raining. We would love to visit again.

The staff was kind and courteous. The bathrooms were always stocked and clean and with a large group like ours that was a huge deal. We also loved the sinks outside the bathrooms, it made our dishwashing experience so much better. Fairly priced for the location and accommodations. Our Girl Scouts will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Estes Park KOA. The close proximity to town and Rocky Mountain National Park was fantastic. The staff was courteous and attentive and kept everything very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the pancake breakfast! The park is close to the main road and there was steady traffic all night, earplugs would be helpful.

Great location BUT tent sites are way too close. We could hear every conversation from other campers. Others had difficulty parking. Because the site is located so close to a horse farm there are a lot of flies that bite. It makes sitting outside unenjoyable. Also, staff pump the portable toilets early in the morning. It's not very pleasant to cook and eat breakfast to the smell of human waste.

Never answered phone. Called dozens of times with no answer. Was ignored by the front desk staff. The sites are ugly and packed close together. Also, smells like horse manure all the time. Awful road noise in the tent area. It’s obvious that there is no drive to improve. We had a tent spot, T-25, which was large enough for us to pitch 2 - 8'x 8' tents. The pea gravel bed made it easy too set up and stake down the tents without any humps or other sources of discomfort that you usually discover at about 1 AM. The amenities in the park were great and our grand daughter really enjoyed the "bubble" train ride.

We love the Estes koa! We stay sever times a year and always have a great time. The bathrooms by the tents were a little dirty this time. That would be my only complaint.

This was my 2nd stay here and my son and granddaughters 1st stay..We had a wonderful stay they loved the campground as much as i did..we will definitely stay again..This campground is clean, has nice bathrooms and showers, nice staff, and plenty to do for the entire family..

The tent sites are terrible...no tree cover...right on top of each other. Backed right up to the road so car noise all day and night. Right next to a horse stable...loaded with flies. Water was advertised but non in the site. The firewood was price gouged!

Had issue with my tent site when I arrived. I was able able to speak with the owner and they were happy to make an accommodation to resolve the issue. Very friendly.

This is the best KOA we have been to so far. All the staff were friendly, especially Henry who went out of his way to get my son some ice cream he wasn't allergic to, so as he could participate in the ice cream social. The escape artist and the karaoke were a lot of fun too. We will definitely be back!

Owner is wonderful! We loved all the bonus options offered such as the train ride, ice cream social and mentalist show. Some slight snafus on check in with billing credit card, but all handled well with corrections. Bathrooms were nice and clean!

Everything was great, was able to work in the lounge, great facilities, bathrooms, campsites, etc. Friendly staff! Would highly recommend.

Nice location. Tent spaces are super close to each other. There is a horse ranch/rodeo right next to tent area- a little smelly at first but you get used to it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean and big.

Too crowded. Some staff rude. Deluxe cabins fan and air conditioning very loud in cabin DC4. Deluxe tent site had beautiful view but tent sticks would not hold as gravel too thin. Very expensive too stay.

The KOA and it’s amenities were top notch. There was one area where an opportunity exists and that has to do with customer service and the management of vehicles. I completely understand the need for policy in this area, but if a guest has room in the site(s) they’ve rented for an additional vehicle(s) and the vehicle(s) will not impede the other guests, additional vehicles should be allow

The camp sites very close to each other and the site was close to horse ranch it was very smelly. And the sites are close to a major road there was road noise whole night . The quite time was not followed the people next to us decided to leave around 3 am and was very loud . Bathrooms were clean and had hot water and shower.

We stayed in the tent area. Nice to have restrooms, showers and dishwashing station right there. A bit tight for parking vehicles in the tent area, but manageable. Also used the laundry facility and it was very neat and clean. Nice store. Clean camp! Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed our short, overnight stay and would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

The staff was excellent and the facilities were clean. However, the noise level was unbearable from the road. All night we listened to trucks engine breaking then nearly everyone getting up at 4am and making noise. The 10p-7p quiet times were not observed nor enforced. Also, we were instructed about the potential for bears to be a problem in camp, yet there were no bear boxes for our food.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and well maintained tent ground and bathrooms. Safe. My spot was right next to the road, so if you are a light sleeper like me, that might be an issue. (Hence only 4 stars) K9 dog run was clean and convenient for potty breaks. For longer dog walks by the lake, just cross the street and you have bike baths for miles. ~Solo female traveler w/ pooch.

Too noisy as the park is right next to the freeway. Sites are on the smaller size and sites are cramped up with little room between sites adding to the noise of cars coming in and out. Also, the quiet time was not enforced.

I really enjoyed the campsite. The bathroom lines got really long and it was kind of difficult with a young child having to wait for every one taking a shower. It would have been nice to have designated shower areas and designated toilets. Or just more than 3 for every one to use.

Possibly the BEST KOA that we've ever stayed in! It's extremely clean and well kept, the staff was terrific, and the owner is amazing, Best family oriented KOA we've ever stayed in! Came for a night, stayed for three, and left wishing that they had more available days so that we didn't have to leave! Ice cream socials, kids events, get togethers!!! Can't say enough!

My service dog Valor and I stayed here not one, but 3 nights. It was supposed to be just the first night, but all the boondocking sites were full From the time you walk through the office door you are greeted with a smile from a staff that wants nothing except the best for you on your trip The staff can tell you where to eat and where not too. They are very friendly every time they drive by seeing if anyone needs help The bathrooms are clean from the toilet to the showers and I never had to wait to use one Finally, this is one of the best parks I have stayed in and that is mainly because of the staff first and accommodations second. So do not hesitate staying here and this is only 10 minutes from the entrance f Rocky Mountian National Park Greg
