Thursday and Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 9 am – 3 pm
Camp Store: Daily 2 pm – 6 pm Check-In/Out
Check-in: 2 pm - Close
Self Check-In: After close
Check-out: 11 am

Quiet Hours

In consideration of all guests, mandatory quiet time is from 10 pm – 7 am. Generator use is not permitted during quiet time unless approved by staff for a Dry Camping area.

Season Dates

Floyd/Blue Ridge Pkwy KOA is a year-round campground 
Winter Season: November 1st – April 1st
(Campground A closed Nov.1 – Mar. 31)

Pet Policy

We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be on a leash at all times, cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds.

Vehicle Policy

Guests must keep vehicles in gravel areas. Only two vehicles per site. All additional cars, boats, and trailers are to be parked in designated auxiliary parking areas. Please check with our staff for locations. Camp vehicle tags must be displayed at all times. The use of motor vehicles is not allowed on any surface other than gravel roads. The use of ATVs is prohibited. Please keep in mind that the speed limit for KOA grounds is 10 mph.

Visitor Policy

Visitors of registered guests will be permitted on the premises. All guests must pay usage fees & register at the Camp Store and must be confirmed by their party. Visitor cars must be parked in the auxiliary parking areas with a car tag visible at all times. Visitors cannot bring in trailers, campers, or ATVs. Combined visitors & campers must not exceed the allowed number of campers on a site.

Campsite Policy

Guests are prohibited from putting down rugs, mats, or tarps that overlap the grass in the sites. Any intentional damage to the Site or amenities on-site (Picnic Tables, Fire Rings, etc.) will not be tolerated by this KOA. If found in violation of these requirements, a $75.00 fine will be imposed.

Fire Ring Policy

All fire rings and charcoal grills in use must be attended to at all times. Open-air fires will not be allowed when fire risk is high. All burning materials must be kept inside the container. Burning trash in your fire ring is strictly prohibited. Fires need to be put out before checkout. Any damage to a fire ring rental will result in a $50.00 fine.

Wildlife Policy

Campers must keep perishables in containers and put trash in the trash dumpster or local receptacles. Please do not disturb the natural environment including damaging trees, shrubs, vegetation, or animal habitat. No cutting of trees, limbs, or vegetation on the property. If found in violation, a $75.00 fine will be imposed.

Laws

No firearms, weapons, fireworks, or metal detectors are allowed on the campground. Virginia drug & alcohol regulations must be obeyed. All alcohol must be kept in coolers & covered containers. Public intoxication of guests or visitors is not permitted under any circumstances. Removal from the premises will be immediate with no refund.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations will incur a $20 fee. All cancellations within a week of reservations will incur a one-night fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the 2 pm check-in. No-shows will not be refunded. If you need to cancel for any reason, please contact us immediately. Please call for clarification regarding our Cancellation Policy for Long-Term or Floyd Fest Reservations, as those reservations have different policies.
