The facilities are superb. As a professional tent camper since1971 and considering how my husband (RIP) Jack Biggar illustrated "The Camper's Bible" and "The L.L.Bean Guide to the Outdoors" I know what's what. The up-to-date materials used in the bathhouses (marble/vinyl/new fixtures) are not only top notch but above and beyond what is normally provided in commercial facilities. Thank you

Thank you to all of the staff. When booking online I checked 30 amp rather than 50 amp. They worked with us and put us in a great spot. We will return!

This is the 3rd time staying here. I gave a low rating due to the fact that one of the seasonal workers (Mick) is rude and has no people skills. This happened our 1st week there. I also witnessed Mick get into a shouting match with other guests during the Superbowl party. He has no consideration for the guests & is not friendly. KOA needs to teach their workers how to deal with customers.

Did not appreciate the mowers throwing grass on the sides of our RV while mowing and weed eating. Bugs were Terrible. Very clean and staff was friendly. Pine Island is just not for us.

I have positive and negative comments. First the positive: the staff (Peter) made us feel like we were family very helpful. The negative: For the high price (most expensive KOA we’ve ever used) we thought we were going to a nice resort, just the opposite it’s no more than a 2 star over crowded trailer park. Campers were stacked so close to each other. We will not recommend this park to others.

We had a very nice stay and the staff were wonderful! The campground is huge and my wife has problems walking any distance, so we were very limited in what we could do as we were way in the back of the campground with no bikes or other methods of getting to the pool and other fun activities. For those having transportation, it is wonderful. We were just stuck close to our motor home. Great place!

Clean campground with lots of friendly people. Loved the bike/walking path that runs the entire island. Wifi was not good- with the rates that are charged KOA could afford to install boosters throughout the park. We were going to return next year but KOA changed it’s monthly policy-we would have to stay 3 months to get the monthly rate. Very disappointed with that policy.

The park was excellent except for the horrid no see ums. I wouldn’t camp here again because of that. Otherwise, the park was well kept and the staff was very nice. There are no beaches on the island and only 2 bars serve liquor. Getting through Matlacha can take 20 to 40 minutes depending on the time of day.

Honestly, it is kind of not like a campground, a lot of permanent homes. Only 1 pickleball court with many players waiting. For what they charge per night they should make the court larger. And surprised the store was very empty, I needed half & half, they didnt even have milk or butter. With all the space they should have some shopping. The folks who work here are very nice.

We were not impressed. The sites are crammed so tightly together, we are on top of each other. Our 5th wheel barely fit on the site we were assigned and the only way to fit our F250 was to park it partially up on the patio where our chairs needed to be. Many of the roadways are so narrow it was extremely difficult to back in and pull out. The people working there were all very pleasant and helpful

The location and faculty was beautiful! The staff was very rude. Two distant staff members on two different days were very disrespectful to different family members proving that it wasn't an isolated event or specific person.

Very nice. Clean friendly and good amenities. Problem. I learned that I will not be able to get a discounted rate for a stay less than 3 months. This is discouraging and uninviting.

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed ourselves. Clean bathrooms, plenty of laundry facilities, stocked store. Clsoe to many things if you want the island life, slow and relaxed.

Loved the RV park. Staff very friendly, facilities very clean. Pool was great!! We hope to return. We happened to be staying during a tornado warning in early January, 2022. The KOA, has posted that the bathrooms are not storm shelters. They staff did drive around alerting campers of the storm but recommended staying in the RV. They need a better plan.

Clean, well maintained park with a great staff. It has cement pads, lots of activities and a great pool. There is a bike path at the entrance to the park that will take you south to St. James City and north for a long way as well.

This was our second year staying there very difficult to get a reservation they were very unaccommodating. Had to call many many times to book and still could not get a Months stay at the campground. the staff was difficult.

We’ve stayed here many times. But this time the staff seemed a lot less friendly, need more laundry space with as full as the campground stayed and the pool space is too small for amount of people. Pine Island has definitely caught on from when we started in 2015. I know we’re coming off of Covid so I don’t want to be too judgmental

I have been visiting there for 10 winters' a week 2 weeks and now I try for a month. Their policy for reservations is awful. And they make it very difficult with that. Otherwise I like it there.

This was a very expensive campground. They cram you in. There are no garbage cans anywhere, not even at the bathrooms or office area’s. We had to walk over a half mile to get to their main dumpsters. The camper before us had a sewer accident, which was not cleaned before we arrived. The escort just said sorry and left. We had no Wi-Fi signal. This campground definitely needs to be upgraded.

Nice clean place,but I was put in a high traffic area with absolutely no privacy. Paid premium price for this spot as well. Smoking lounge next to my site,people walking through and one dude parked next to my table when I was eating. Maintenance guys told me when I parked,I was going to have trouble. So why did I pay full price? Also, diesel trucks stop,and idle there. If it was discounted,....

Renting deluxe cottage. Very clean with full kitchen and full bathroom. Everyone seems very friendly and staff is very helpful. Great location to explore island. Propane grill on the patio is a great addition.

Nice clean park, quiet at night even though almost every site is full. Plenty of ammenities within the park but also things to go and see outside of park.
