You have a beautiful campground. Would have liked a few more activities for the kids to enjoy. it has a great location to shopping. lots of place to run and play. loved the wooded sites. I know it was hard because of covid -19 . look forward to coming back when all of us return to normal and the kids would have activities to enjoy and make camping friends.

We stayed in the round cabin. The exhaust vents in bathroom and the shower were encrusted with dust, and mold. The walls near the floor were covered in dust. The public garbage can near our cabin wasn’t emptied for the entire 4 days that we were there. I understand Covid had all of the fun things cancelled around the campground, but it was very disappointing.

Interior roads are in need of fixing pot holes and filling in low area. Rain caused lots of puddles. The Nature Trail was very difficult to find and to follow as signs are outdated and the trail is not maintained. The trash dumpster and "recycle" area needs attention - recycle barrels were over flowing. There was only one dumpster for the entire area that we could find! Staff very nice.

Awesome quiet place. Sites are separated so you have your own private area. Nice hosts. We left to go to Lebanon ME KOA and miss the Durham KOA. Much better there!

We had a great time at the campsite. The glamping tent was amazing, the neighbors were friendly, and the staff had great recommendations for activities in the area!

Very clean, quiet campground. The pool tile could use a scrub but the pool was still welcoming on those warm days. Cant wait for more of the campground to open.

This is a really well maintained, tidy campground with very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the cleanliness of the bathhouse.

We went JUNE 19 AND 20T H fATHERS DAY WEEKEND WE HAD A VERY QUIET AND GOOD WEATHER . the site was clean .

We enjoyed ourselves, we just wish the little cars and trains could have been open to the public. Our youngest two sons love trains.

Due to the coronavirus things were a bit different. The check in was great except we never got a receipt for our stay. It’s time for Durham KOA to upgrade their internet. With this being a tech world we need to access to an internet that does cut out several times during use. That was very frustrating. Bob is a great host, but greater attention needs to be paid to prices, discounts and deposits

Staff was very nice and friendly and kids loved the train ride but when checking in my email confirmation had me in a 50A P/T FHU but put me in a FHU 50A Back In no real issue as it was easy enough to get in but my EMS unit kept shutting down because of low voltage. It was extremely hot so I’m sure everyone had the ac’s going but you expect to be able to run your systems w/o issues

We have stayed at the Freeport/Durham kOA before & have had a great experience. This year we had a problem with the Brown Tail Moth Caterpillars & out of 25 people in our group ( some tented, some stayed in the the lodging , one had a camper) about half got the rash. Most very badly. It definitely put a damper on the weekend & our experience there this year. �

The cabin we stayed in was very nice, I was very surprised at the extra supplies that were in the cabin and how clean it was. The campground was very clean, everyone was very friendly, and it was very quiet. The addition of the horses and Donkey were a wonderful surprise for my grandchildren and they are already asking when we could go back!

My family visits multiple times a summer to camp here because we love it so much. However, this stay I called and asked for wood to be delivered. It never was. We were tenting and were placed very far from the one open bathroom unit. I am confused as to why there is only one bathroom open, with COVID I would assume you would want them all open to minimize the risk of exposure but that’s just me.

We’ve been there before and always had a great time. This time we’re unaware of a browntail moth caterpillar infestation, left early and had to get meds from a doctor. The campground refunded me half immediately when I sent them the medical documentation. We still loved the pool area, how the glamping tent was set up, and the general layout. No contact Check-in was cool.

Facilities we're super clean, staff was very friendly. The people in the lot next to us were so loud, even after quiet hours. We were so tired we fell asleep anyway,but they seemed to live there and they should not be allowed to do so. They disturbed the peace and ruined the whole atmosphere.

Our first stay was wonderful, granted we were so tired we fell asleep while it was still daylight. The facilities we're all super clean and the staff was very friendly. The people who were staying at the lot next to us, were so loud all night long. They were drunk and arguing. The man could be heard throwing up outside, and he even ventured to take a wee by our tent! They seemed to live there.

In this pandemic, even with no activities scheduled, we four related groups were able to have a fun and relaxing weekend which we all were desperately in need of. My grandsons were very happy as they had no left their own yard sonce mid March. Thank you!

This was our first trip to Maine and we decided to camp at the last minute. We were able to book a site and have found the managers totally friendly and helpful. I feel like they went the extra mile to meet what ever needs we had. We will be back for sure.
