What a great KOA campground. We spent 2 weeks for our stay and I didn't want to leave. Great campground, well maintained, quiet, lots of things for the kiddos to do, terrific playground and most of all the hosts Bob and Christine are awesome and makes everyone's stay a pleasant. We will return when we are in the area. Thank you Bob and Christine for your hospitality. The best KOA campground

For a campground without much for natural beauty (ocean, lake etc.) they do a great job making it fun. Lots of activities and fun for everyone. Very well maintained.

This KOA was a nice overnight stay, but would not want to have an extended stay there. We were parked in an open field almost like a cow pasture with no trees around.

Taylor was the best! She was upbeat, friendly and welcoming, very accomodating to our needs and super knowlegable about the area. She shared info about the KOA park's many fun and festive parties/celebrations for the campers. Our stay was perfect - no complaints.

Stayed 3 nights and highly recommend. The weekend Pizza and pancake breakfast are excellent and a great bargain. The owners as well as the rest of the staff were very friendly. It is quiet and a great place to stay while visiting Freeport.

We had a very nice stay. The camp sites are pretty large, and the facilities were clean. We were there on off days so it was quite, which we really liked. But if you're there on the weekends when things are in full swing it'll be awesome. Also the staff were all super friendly and helpful, a real great crew.

We have been staying a few days at this KOA in June for many years. It's a nice clean campground, family oriented, which we like even though we are part of the retired age group. If we didn't like it we wouldn't keep coming back!

We arrived Wednesday 6/19 and left Monday 6/24. The campground is very spacious and clean. It is also very quiet.It has lots of open space to . play games. It is a great place for families.

Beautiful and well maintained, this campground has sites for every type of camper from open easy access pull thrus to private sites nestled in the trees. You can get away from it all in the forest while still having plenty for the kids to do.

We have been visiting this campground for over 10 years. This year the grounds were not as well taken care of, there were not as many activities, and the overall feel wasn’t as positive. We hope that this can be turned around because it is a wonderful spot!

The work campers were very friendly and helpful. The owner/manager did not acknowledge our presence even though we were less than 2 feet from her. She was too busy correcting a lovely work camper to offer a simple hello. The restroom was not clean. One of two toilets was clogged and the other had pee all over the seat. No refunds if you leave early. Think twice before making a reservation.

We stayed for 2 nights recently. Check-in was quick and easy. Our site was good-sized for our party of 6. Our only issue for the stay was the bathroom/showers. Please consider a better quality toilet paper. Our other issue would be the showers that open to the outside. In the evening, every shower door was open and filled with various flying insects from giant mosquitos to June bugs.

I enjoyed coming for the second stay but the night before we departed we had a small issue with some neighbors stealing the last of our wood. That wasn’t so pleasant considering I had 2 kids 1 year and a 5 year old with us. My son wanted s’mores one more time before we left and I couldn’t. So that made my stay very uncomfortable. I’d love to come back though!

We love it there. The staff is amazing. I have a walking disability, staff brought me to areas too far for me to walk to, helped me with camper problems. The office staff returned calls very quickly. The pizza is out of this world. The area I like to stay in is quiet, woods behind me and my dog loves it there too. A five star resort in my book!

You're always greeted by a friendly face from check in to check out. We booked the mush room which was beautifully decorated in a nautical theme. Room comes complete with kuerig,mini fridge,toilet, shower and basic kitchen amenities.

the park was further from the highway than i expected, since i was traveling for a short period, i would have preferred something closer to main hwy. the price was more than i expected, and had paid before in other KOAs. the park was nice,well organized. site length was good &level and grated well, easy to pull through.

for the 3 time in 5 visits we had our site changed when we arrived. we made reservations long in advance and were with a group. we arrived only to find out we were moved. reservations are like a contract. we should have been contacted in advance and been given the option to refund our money, look at site options or cancel all together. another couple in our group had the same thing happen.

This was our first trip to Maine and we decided to camp at the last minute. We were able to book a site and have found the managers totally friendly and helpful. I feel like they went the extra mile to meet what ever needs we had. We will be back for sure.
