It was wonderful! The cabin on stilts was a very cool experience! The kids enjoyed the lazy river and pool! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank You!!!

We had a Great Stay, the campground and the facilities were fantastic and we had a great time. Tammy Hollander and her staff were so accomodating. We brought in our Boy Scout troop for an event going on in Galveston. Tammy worked hard to get our group in a central location and graciously helped with last-minute changes. It was a Great Experience and we can't wait to return!

Very friendly staff. Very clean campground. All campers seemed well behaved. We enjoyed our visit. Only negative for me is a lack of area to walk my dogs. The beach helped.

It was wonderful. The staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met (especially Terry at the front desk). It was so neat and clean and beautiful. There are plenty of activities for everyone. We loved it so much and can’t wait to go back.

The only issue we encountered was there needs to be more bathrooms. Or possibly limit the times when people can shower. Other than that everything was great.

The staff were friendly. Not a lot for children to do…. No park, no kids in the hot tub… these things are important for a family with children. All in all it was a very clean and safe place.

Great personable staff! Many activities for the family including pool, lazy river, hot tub, pickle ball courts, basketball, and small dog park. Beach is nearby. I liked the friendly texts about reminders for the day and any activities at the KOA.

Great place to Snowbird, our fourth year at this campground, second since KOA took it over. KOOA has made many improvements and has provided a lot more entertainment for the guests. Already booked for next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Mark and Tammy were wonderful hosts! They handled all situations very professional and were always very courteous. They dealt with unruly dogs, children wandering the campground at night with no supervision or lights that was very dangerous for the children! The activities were fun. Highly recommend this campground!

We loved our stay at Galveston KOA. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were beautiful and quiet. We Loved the lazy river. The only negative I can report is that the shower facilities could have been cleaner.

We had a great time. The staff was great and kept you informed daily on activities and the margarita machine was a definite plus. Will stay there again!

Staff is super friendly and so helpful if you need anything! The location is perfect for us; across from beach and away from crowds! Well kept park with everything you need. We love the nightly margaritas too!

Free wifi is non-existent. Apparently they want you to pay for wifi in order to have any type of service at all. No trash pick up at site. Otherwise the place is clean and well kept.

Only 4 restrooms on entire campground. and not well maintained. Over 100 sites with pool and lazy river. Will not come back. Port Lavaca is a better destination with more friendly atmosphere.

It was amazing, my mom, nieces and I were the only tent dwellers at the time we went for Spring Break, but we fit right in with the RV crowd. Lots of activities, facilities clean and well maintained.

This is our 2nd time at this KOA and has now turned into our favorite in the Houston area. Loving the location away from all the spring break madness closer to Galveston. Wife and kids enjoyed the quick access to the beach across the street. The facilities were nice and clean. The only thing I wished they had, was a park for the little kids. Other than that, we can’t wait to come back!

This is an awesome KOA! It’s probably our favorite one we’ve stayed in so far. It’s across the street from the beach, away from the busy parts of Galveston, but just a short drive from everything. The lazy river is a great alternative to the main pool. The ball courts and all the other activities were great too. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for the 5 of us. We’ll definitely come

We have stayed at Galveston KOA a few times and we love it! Super clean campground, nice and quite. It’s close enough to the beach. There are fun activities for kids and adults, and 2 heated pools! My family loves it, and the kids love running around

The campsite is clean and inviting. I would only say that the staff could be more patient and empathetic. But, overall we really enjoyed everything about our stay.

My family and I booked for 5 days and 4 nights. It was a great stay, close to plenty of kid-friendly things to do. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit cooler than normal for South TX, but my family and I still had tons of fun. We'll definitely be staying at KOA's in the future because we're now reward members. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great place. Close to the beach. Was lot of things to do there with the kiddos. Loved the pool and hot tub. Got texts of what was going on for adults and kids all week. The staff was amazing. Very Very CLEAN bathroom's. Would come back again!!!!!!

We enjoyed the stay. The only thing I didn't like relates to the visitor policy. Charging $20 per person for someone to visit a campsite and not use any campground amenities is a bit much. I understand the need to control the use of other amenities but feel like that can be accomplished with a wristband or other system. Having a couple over for dinner in my own camper shouldn't require a $40 fee.

Loved our stay here! The hot tub, pool, and lazy river are all heated and open yr round! All the staff was sweet and helpful with all our needs. They are kid friendly and dog friendly! It was about 30 min from the main restaurants on the seawall or strand. It was quiet and peaceful, the wifi reached to the far side of the park and it even allowed us to stream Disney+ each night! It was great stay we would highly recommend!

Absolutely a 👋 🌟 starts all day long. My wife & I had the best time ever staying here. Super helpful staff. Being new to the camping world they we're very helpful getting us set up & explaining the ropes to us. We will definitely be coming back to spend more time.
