We had a lovely time in this beautiful campground. The surroundings are enchanting, and the beach ambiance of the grounds make it the perfect island camping area. The shower and laundry facilities are exceptional. The front desk staff is, too. My only complaint is about the poor internet reception, despite our paying for increased service.otherwise I would have rated them a high 5.

We love Galveston Koa. This was our 3rd stay. Gave only a 4 this time because we had hardly any water pressure, maybe it’s because of the new added spots. Also when we were last there we rented a gulf cart and could drive though land then cross over road to other side for beach access. You no longer can. You have to walk down the shoulder then cross the highway. Other then that We love it there

Place is clean, ladies in office sweet. Not ok with the fact that Tim enjoys harassing the kids all day on his golf cart. Informing them starting at 6:30 that quiet time is 10, to circling the pickleball court to find something wrong with kids, like playing volleyball on it when the paddles and ball are due back at 7pm. 15 kids all having fun doing nothing wrong getting yelled at every 30 minutes.

We have a fairly new TV in our camper and had trouble getting a signal from the cable network. You sent a technician out the diagnose the problem and it was not the cable but our TV. He was able to program our TV to work great. Many thanks to this gentleman.

Staff made adjustments to allow our group of 3 sites to be next to each other. Arrived at check in time to a line of campers in front of the office. Much faster check in than our previous experiences with long delays. Great job having more staff available during peak times.

Everyone was friendly. Grounds were very clean and nicely kept. Pool and hot tub was warm for swimming/soaking in November. Outside of town and very quiet compared to in town resorts we’ve stayed at. Highly recommend. Nicest resort in Galveston area!

Nice staff. Not enough bathrooms. Need bathrooms without showers so they open up quicker. Dog owners weren’t cleaning up sufficiently. Rednecks punching gas on their F350 diesels cruising through lot with no mirror tag didn’t seem to phase anyone. Looks like they are trying to run a tight ship though.

Hands down the best KOA I’ve stayed at in 2-years. Prices a bit too high but otherwise a pristine park. Huge sites and no cars blocking the roads. Loved it.

This park has gone down hill. Restrooms were not clean, shower heads not working properly, toilet paper not in the stalls, laundry room not clean and trash bins overflowing. Lack of any management to maintain patrons courtesy to others in the park. This was our third stay here and our last.

Very clean park. Friendly staff and very helpful. It is our second time to stay here and plan on coming back. We have looked at the other RV parks on the island and this is by far the best in our opinion. It is a little bit of a drive to all of the attractions but the lack of congestion is well worth it.

A very nice koa..lots of green grass..parking spots are well spaced. Campground is well taken care of and away from all the main hotels and bustle of tourists. Beach is a bit of a walk down and across the street but not crowded. .would definitely recommend

The facility was clean and neighbors were quiet. We did not use the pool or hot tub because there were too many people. No restaurants in walking distance.

Nice location, lovely grounds and frozen drinks?! Never expected the pool to be open in November but were pleasantly surprised. Shower/bathrooms are fantastic.

Such a great park. Staff is top of the line, they were always helpful and eager to please. The park is clean and well kept. This is our first time staying here since it went to KOA and were not sure what to expect, it was always a perfect park before, now it seems to be a little better somehow. We will be back soon.

Honestly we really think this is one of the best resorts on the island. We stayed at lot 99 it was nice. The only think we found to be a little issue is the speed some drive in and out of the park. Being on the main drag so to speak it was a bit eye opening. Definitely a little faster than the 10 mph limit. Kinda worry about the dogs and little kids that are out and about.

Our stay was very good, quiet, present, relaxing snd the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the opportunity to stay on/ near the beach and to meet so many Winter Texans from the north enjoying out Texas weather!

What a lovely campground. A little far from town but our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back! Hopefully for a week next time.

Nice roomy sites. The heated Lazy River and pool were very nice even with temperatures in the low 70’s. Great and friendly staff. We’ll be back again next year.

it was clean and freidly . but it's not my lucky place. I fall down to the camping ground with dislocated arm . i have to rush into hospital with expensive bills and pain. The company still charge me $20 for my late checking out fees.

Beautiful campground...clean, beautiful pools, kind staff, they have a small but adequate dogpark. I would have given it higher rating except the main facility feels inaccessible to me for people with mobility challenges. If I brought my dad here, he couldn't are it up to the second floor office, store, only bathrooms and showers and laundry. They have a ramp going all the way up but it's so long.

This is my go to spot in Galveston. Great location far from the touristic areas, but not too far. Close to my favorite beach and a great spot to just cross the street and run in the beach. Facilities are top notch and the people at the office are always great. Will be back in no time.

Very nice and well maintained park but did not like space #1 as it was too close to the office and pool area. There was too much noise as the a/c for the building was always running and there was music and noise coming from the pool area. Other that these issues, it was a very nice experience, my next visit I will request that we are located further in the back or at least further away.

Loved our stay here! The hot tub, pool, and lazy river are all heated and open yr round! All the staff was sweet and helpful with all our needs. They are kid friendly and dog friendly! It was about 30 min from the main restaurants on the seawall or strand. It was quiet and peaceful, the wifi reached to the far side of the park and it even allowed us to stream Disney+ each night! It was great stay we would highly recommend!

Absolutely a 👋 🌟 starts all day long. My wife & I had the best time ever staying here. Super helpful staff. Being new to the camping world they we're very helpful getting us set up & explaining the ropes to us. We will definitely be coming back to spend more time.
