The campground itself was great. However the staff not so much. Family came to visit us and were going to be charged $5 each, just to sit around our campfire. They would have been there no more than 2 hours, and the staff member was less than friendly when he came to.us and said they had to go to.office. we understand you have rules, but they could have been nicer in their approach.

We tell everyone when they check in to not give out the gate code and explain our visitor policy at that time. Unfortunately this was not followed and we had to ask them to go to the office to get the appropriate pass.

Possible improvements: Bath house bushes overgrown and block sidewalk, remove and replace. Bathroom side exit door need a yellow "watch step" or platform outside. Bathroom doors are dirty. Shower stall bases not cleaned. Bath fan very noisy. Bath floor frequently very wet which was mostly an issue when using toilets as did not want to get pants wet. Maybe a floor blower to dry. All minor.

Your campground was fine however the way some of your staff an older gentleman speaks to people is extremely rude and unnecessary. Customer service goes a long way no need to speak to people as if you are better then or you have some authority over them. Rules are needed for sure arrogance is not.

Our stay was amazing! We choose a cabin and it was clean and fit our needs well. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the bathroom be cleaned more frequently.

This is our second time at this KOA. Lots of trees, shade and it's very peaceful. Rules are pretty strict. We wanted to have another retired couple stop for a brief visit to see the camp. The office was closed so they were turn away. We had to meet them the next morning instead. Annoying but we'd return.

It was a great campground. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars was the constant smell of weed being smoked at the sites all around ours. The yellow shirt staff didn't seem to care as they drove by repeatedly. Do your thing but don't make me smell it.

Love this place. Everyone is so friendly, helpful. The grounds are so clean. Thankyou for making are 4th of July even better with a great cabin.

Wonderfull experiance everytime my familly comes here, lots of fun things for kids and adults to do as well. Nice organized and well stocked store on premisis with a very friendly and helpfull camp staff. Well maintained facility.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Nice big sites for an our big rig. Very clean campground. The location is close to a lot of other attractions.

This our go to KOA! We have been coming to Gaylord KOA for many years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the grounds are well maintained. Lots of stuff for families to do in the campground. Always a good stay.

Interesting - that rules seemed important — yet — cars were parked on grass, RV’s were less than 25’ and some seemed older than 15. Our stay was first class. Thanks.

Actually we do not have an age limit on RV's. And it is unfortunate that we have problems with the parking situation despite our best efforts. We hope to see you again.

The staff was extremely rude, and always patrolling the campsite on their golf carts watching. Almost every 10-20 minutes. The manager was completely rude to me when I asked for a refund on a visitor pass I paid for that didn’t end up getting used. Which also is ridiculous to charge $5 per person to visit. The mini golf was expensive and the course was absolutely disgusting. Worst KOA camp groun

Enjoyed a great stay even though it rained all week. Very nice campground, large sites, friendly staff and friendly campers. Also, appreciated the security of the campground. I will come back and tell my friends and family about this campground! Thank You!

It was a good stay, we were there for a reunion in the area. It rained a lot and the site we were on was quite sandy. It needed more stabilized gravel. Overall it was fine, road coming in could be paved to get around the pot holes and dirty roads.

Policy of charging $10 for our friends to come in for dinner. We are traveling together and have dinner in our motorhome. We walked outside the gates the next day to do some sightseeing with them…they couldn’t pick us up …. and it was raining.

I LOVE this place!! I don't use any of the amenities. I enjoy just sitting outside in my chair. All of my cares and worries seem to melt away! The owners do a terrific job of keeping their campground clean and neat. It's obvious that they care about their business and more importantly, they care about their customers! I highly recommend this KOA.

We stay here a lot and enjoy the park. Even though it was a little rainy we had a nice stay. Staff was kind and courteous.

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
