We really enjoyed our stay at Gaylord KOA, and need to call out the SUPER FRIENDLY staff here. Most campgrounds have nice, friendly people, but the folks at the Gaylord KOA go above and beyond. We felt so welcomed and appreciated.

The weather was great and so was the size of the camp sites in this KOA. The owners were very nice and the campground very well kept. If you want a woodsy up north feel, this is your KOA to go to.

My only complaint is I don't think any one should be able to display political banners or signs, we go camping to get away from all this and relax.

We had a great weekend at the Gaylord KOA. This was our 1st time using our Motorhome and I am glad we stayed where we did. They did a great job making us feel welcome! Gregg+

Everything was absolutely WONDERFUL. The owners were very warm friendly and inviting. My cabin was the best. included in my package was a Microwave, Refrigerator, Flat Screen, Bunk Bed, full size fold out bed and Wi-Fi. This camp site is truly a GEM.... See you next year���

I do wish you would limit number of pets on a sight. Our last day a site had three dogs barking every time we made a move. It was annoying but we were checking out anyways. Otherwise staff and kampground was wonderful

A worker (man with a mustache) who drive a golf cart was very unfriendly- I observed him yell at children, tell us to slow down (we were going 5mph) and he yelled at the campers next to us which got them very angry so we had to listen to them gripe about this worker and swear the entire night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Actually the person in the cabin next to you was quite drunk and using a lot of profanity. We do not tolerate that. And we do not ask people to slow down unless there is a reason. Safe travels.

This campground is everything advertised. Spacious lots, lots of trees, friendly staff (wood delivered to your fire ring!) and sparkling clean- heated bathrooms. Definitely on our return list for the future.

Everything was fine. Older bathrooms. Koas in general need to improve fire rings. Little larger. And sewer drop was a little high. But overall nice campground

We were impressed with the size of our site. Someone actually showed us to our camp site! We haven't had that in years! The park was nice, and quiet. We will be back!

The great advantage of this KOA was that it was far away from the highway and when you go to bed you only hear the crickets. Very helpful staff, clean facility and conveniently located, would stay if I am in the area.

The campground and facilities were adequate, but the two camp hosts were less than friendly. I was not greeted well at check-in and felt I was inconveniencing the host. The host that escorted us to our site was very curt and direct, and again we were left feeling that helping us was a big imposition. Probably will not return to this campground.

The place is clean and convenient. However, they are so many rules, that we would never stay there again unless we had to. Others there felt the same way. Every time you turn around there is something you can't do. The worse one was that for your family or friends to come to your campsite, they need to pay a visitor fee. Really ?. Gravel road in should be dust controlled completely dusted unit

Very nice and beautiful grounds, well kept up, felt very safe, pad was level and easy to park in. Sewer was well placed and low. 2 dog parks was really nice. Only negative was how incredibly expensive it was. Only stayed 1 night.

You actually had booked one of our patio sites when you made your reservation online. We do have less expensive sites. That may have been the only thing we had available at that time also.

Stayed 2 nights. Played a round of golf at the Lakes course. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. The only recommendation I would offer is that the entry road and main roads be paved. When it rains the mud on my vehicles is significant.

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
