Loved the campground it was clean, the sites were level, the cable worked. We were only there overnight but we walked around the campground at night and then walked the traill the next day. Loved all the trees, and the fact that everything was neatly trimmed.

This is a great campground centrally located in the north woods of Michigan, within easy driving range to the myriad recreational opportunities the area has to offer. And...the KOA hosts are top notch.

No problems. We were out sightseeing all days most of the day so we didn't use any facilities, but they look nice.

Great stay. Quiet, peaceful, respectful campers. Staff courteous and helpful. We intend to spend a night there on our trip home.

We sure did pick the wrong week for our stay it rained for 3 days straight !! We met the owner and had a nice talk with him very nice guy. Every one we encountered that worked there were very nice and happy. We will hopefully pick a good week next year !!

I have never stayed at a KOA before. $5 dollars a person for visitors. Paid $20 for green wood that would not even light. Camp was very clean. Front desk lady was not overly friendly. I realize it was a long summer. Escorts to sites was new to me I did enjoy that. Campers around us were friendly. I do not think I would ever stay at a KOA again. ALOT OF rules made it not fun or enjoyable.

The camp ground is great and the sites are large and set up well and maintained well. The host were very helpful as well. I would give it a five rating except for the water having a terrible smell. It took a few days to get the smell of that water out of our camper.

I'm sorry you thought that it was our water. Our water tests better than the city of Gaylord and has no odor. I would suggest checking your water heater as that is probably the cause of the odor. Safe travels!

We stay at Gaylord KOA,often. Owners and staff are very friendly,campground is clean, sites are roomy.

This is one of my family's favorite campgrounds. Our third time there, as always great staff, some of the must up kept great sites, we always feel at home there. Can't wait to come back again.

The personnel are fabulous. Campground Clean. Sites are spacious.spike and Kristine were awesome. We will definitely be back

Campground is nice and clean. Nice people. I gave it 3 stars based on the price. Very pricey for a standard campground. We have been other places and paid less and had a ton of children activities. Overall, good experience.

Nice park. Sites were larger than my previous experience in KOA’s. Park was pretty full for the Labor Day weekend but did not feel crowded. Bathhouse and laundry were clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and assisted with backing into my site. Overall good experience.

Nicely spaced lots. We had full hook up so unable to comment on the restrooms. Only suggestion, bring your own firewood. The small bundle for $5 is best used for kindling.

We had a lovely weekend stay in our KOA cabin over Labor Day. Gaylord was the perfect place to stay to sight see around northern Michigan during the day and retreat in the evenings to our cabin. The KOA campground's anemities/bathrooms were always well stocked and very clean. The cabin had a heater that helped take the chill off in the evening.

The stay was great only thing I didn't like it there was no hand soap in the bathrooms and it said bathrooms where cleaned daily. The pool wasn't very clean either had alot of leaves and bugs in it

Actually the restrooms were cleaned daily and checked at least every hour. Also, it was very windy over the weekend which makes it hard to keep everything out of the pool. Safe travels in the future!

Loved our stay at Gaylord KOA! Our cabin was great, and the campground was clean and staff friendly. The A/C in the cabin did not work well, but we had a cooler weekend so that wasn't a huge deal. Our little one loves to jump on the jump pads but we did not do it here because she is too little to do the rest of the wristband activities. Overall, great experience!

We have stayed here before and really like the way it is set up. Love the trails we can hike and walk our dog. Nice pool, clean bathrooms. Friendly staff.

We love this KOA! Go every year. It's clean and we'll kept. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you have children and or grandchildren there is lots for them to do.

The facility was nice. Our site was huge and the amenities were good. It is smaller than other KOAs I have been to and a little more simple...dirt roads etc. but that was fine. It was a nice "home-base" for our day trips and relaxing when we spent the day there.

The staff is very friendly and it’s well maintained. Just need bigger fire pits ! To hard to cook over the fire in those.

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
