We love this campground. The hosts are so friendly and it has that up north feel, being in the woods. The lots are also a nice size compared to other campgrounds.

Our stay in Gaylord was absolutely beautiful in the 1st days In October. This had to be one of the nicest can't go the nicest campgrounds we had been 2 in quite a while. It was clean there was plenty of room on each lot, Lots and lots of beautiful trees. It was clean And the people who ran this place were so nice.. This one is what is on my favorites list.

Never had any complaints about the Gaylord KOA. This last trip was no exception. One of our favorite campgrounds!

Staff is very courteous, polite, welcoming. The campground is very clean and well maintained. It is a very beautiful area and very close to grocery store and gas stations. I love how many trees there are. Really has an outdoor feel

We had a beautiful site with lots of room and shade. This place is super friendly and super clean. We try to stay here at least once or more each year.

Our delux cabin was clean and well stocked. The staff were very nice. I gave a 4 star rating only because the campground could use a little more vegetation between sites for more privacy. Our firepit was right by the road and that did not feel very cozy or intimate so it was less enjoyable.

the campground was fine ,I did not understand why the $10,00 charge for an additional car, I did not see on the brochure where it had info, the only thing I saw was for visitors , which my Granddaughter and her Husband were already on the list ,to camp with me

Very quiet this time of year. Only stayed one night (rainy night) wish the weather had been better. Looks like a beautiful park.

The campground was quiet, had spacious campsites, and clean bathrooms. September is a great time to camp Up North, we had a nice stay.

Beautiful campground close to Gaylord activities. Quiet but has lots of kids activities. Multiple cabins if you don't have a camper. The staff was polite and helpful. I will definitely go back.

We visited this park twice coming and going to Upper MI in the fall. Campsites widely spaced and clean. Loved the open areas and facilities.

Very helpful. I had truck trouble, they moved my camper to storage for me while the repairs were being done.

Staff is amazing. Sites could be kept up better. I feel for the price you pay sites could be flat or at least cleaned up after others. Real reason I keep going back is the staff. This camp ground could use some good cleaning of equipment and some site work.

We stayed two nights 6 days apart, going north to the U.P. and returning to Ohio. Gaylord KOA is exactly half way and it worked out perfectly. The sites were nice, rates were great, staff was friendly and the laundry / shower house was clean.

Liked the size of the lots and the security gate. The bathrooms were immaculate! But would have liked warm water at the sinks.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is hot water at the sinks. We have not had any problems or complaints. I wish you would have mentioned it while you were here.

Sites are roomy, shaded and level. Easy to get in and out. Had a pull through site for a week. Other rigs came and went and we hardly noticed. Everyone got good help getting in and situated by KOA personnel. Park was quiet and well maintained. Very nice area.

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
