We have been going for years to the Holiday KOA in Gaylord. Our kids and grand kids LOVE going here every year. Dave and Georgeanne are amazing people and do so much to make it a fun and enjoyable stay for everyone. Thank you for all you do!

The step up into the women's bathroom is awkward. And not very handicap friendly. And after washing your hands you had to pull the door open. Also, it was difficult to dry beach towels and swimsuits as you don't allow clothes lines. And $10 a night extra so the kids can have a little tent to sleep in?!? Seriously? You really should put all that on the website! Overall the campground was nice.

We've stayed at the Gaylord KOA two years in a row and plan on many more years to come. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My kids love all the fun things they can do, especially the pool. We chose to stay in a deluxe cabin this year and it was great!

We had a very nice lot, but the neighbors were very loud, kids fighting, doors slamming past 10pm at night. We are elderly, and go to bed early, so this was a problem for us. Otherwise, I would have given this KOA a top rating.

Very nice campground. Clean and quiet. I would really like to see recycling on site. Don’t know if it is because the city doesn’t recycle?

We loved it. We had a lot of fun. We have stayed there a couple times now. This time we stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was nice but it was not fully cleaned and the bed was very loud to sleep in. Didn't get much sleep because you couldn't move without it being extremely loud. Other than that we really like it and would stay again.

It was a great stay. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Sites were nice and had plenty of space. Will definitely be back again!

First time staying in a cabin. Would recommend to everyone. This is probably the nicest koa. We try to come for at least a weekend every year. Great staff. Excellent service. And very clean

Gaylord has a great Kampground, great staff. Showers/Bathrooms were nicely maintained. Lots to do for the kids, the pool was nice but there was quite a few bugs in it, other than that we had a great time.

I am a non camping person so the deluxe cabin worked out well for us to be with out of state family camping there.

Great campground! Sites are big, staff is wonderful and the activities are great for the kids. We love the large pool- which is nice and clean!

We stayed one week with you. The campground was very clean, as were the showers and bathrooms. It is a beautiful campground. Everyone we met were very friendly.

The site flooded

Unfortunately we had quite a lot of rain in a very short amount of time. It was gone in about an hour.

Had a good stay. Campground is good location and office was friendly. Only bad thing was a grumpy visitor was trying to tell us we could not wash dishes in the sink that was there in the laundry room which was incorrect.

Excellent facility. Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. Masks are required in all buildings according to Michigan executive orders but signs were not posted on building doors so there were campers that did not were masks. Staff was very cordial.

Very clean and quiet campground. The pool was cold and you have to pay for/buy a wristband to use the activities (leap pad, miniature golf, trampoline). We’ve stayed at multiple KOA’s across the country and this was the first that charged extra for the activities. Otherwise, great place to stay!

The handicap shower stall was locked at all times. When I asked a KOA worker about it being locked they said it leaks water all over and they had to clean messes up and so they keep it locked. I told them my grandmother was needing to use it and they asked if she was in a wheelchair, I replied no but she has a walker and is 92yrs old. They said only wheelchair bound could use it.

We had a great time with extended family. The camping sites are nice. The campground and bathrooms are clean. We played putt putt and the course needs a lot of work. There is a bridge missing on one of the holes but we played it twice and made the best of it.

As usual, friendly, helpful staff. Clean grounds and bath house. Only thing we had forgotten from last year is the campground is in a flight path, so there is a lot of air traffic, but it wouldn't deter us from coming again next year!

So nice to have you back! Actually I think you heard the planes from the Army base south of us. They only have exercises once in a great while.

The amenities were fantastic for our family! We loved the hiking trails, bounce pillow, pool, basketball, mini golf and bike rentals. Very reasonably priced, spacioussuites, and very clean. Staff is super friendly and even guided us in to park our camper!

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
