Nice location and nice site. Be aware of the 5mph speed limit. 5 mph is safe but is very slow. We went almost 10 mph and we yelled at by the campground manager. He was rude. I agree we should go slow but there is no excuse to be rude. We were going 10 mph. Actually he drove faster than that when guiding us to our lot. Shame on him. Nice, but we will not return.

The campground was well kept, very relaxing and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

So peaceful. Everyone from the staff was always very happy and helpful. Will definitely go back and refer friends to stay here

We had a large pull thru lot, however it was low in the front half of it, with no gravel on that half. The driveway was muddy from rain prior to our arrival. This was lot #76, so that needs to be taken care of. Other than that, We enjoyed our stay there. The grandchildren came over and enjoyed the pool, which was larger than other KOA pools we have been to.

Met the hardworking owner. Lot was clean and fire pit was cleaned out. Ice cream social was fun. Office workers were very helpful when I ask about eateries nearby. I would definitely recommend this KOA.

This was the second year in a row we rented Kabin 13. We had an amazing time. Our son Owen made so many friends. We are planning on returning next year for year #3. Thank you for you're great hospitality!!!

Needs some TLC! There’s needs to more lights on during the night time hours. 1 bathroom building is definitely not enough needs another one. Especially the showers were very small & difficult to maneuver around. Maybe trying to grow grass on tent sites. The playgrounds need some serious upgrades along with more items available for purchase in the store. Snack selection was very poor.

The campground is beautiful and clean. The activities are great, though I think the value for the price needs to be reevaluated. There were some very pleasant staff members who were great. But there were two in particular that were very rude and made our stay unpleasant and have really made us question returning. Customer service needs to be a higher priority here.

Nice place. Too few bathroom locations. Kind of felt nickel and dimed by all the different fees just to use the playground features. Arcade machines didn't work. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our Escort did a great job of guiding me to our campsite. The voltage is excellent (120s). The sewer connection is wide & the threading is in very good condition. The Rec Center, Playgrounds, Pool, Bounce Pad & Basketball Game are in good to great condition. The Video Game Area & Laundry Room are clean. The staff is friendly & helpful.

Park is easy to find and access, workers are courteous and helpful, and park is very clean. Nice park to relax and stay at and noticed it’s especially good for children with lots of activities for them to do inside .

Christine is very rude, I felt like we were lied to upon reservations. I explained we needed 4 adults per site, never was I told only 1 tent per site (which is ridiculous) Christine is very condescending, we felt like children being "escorted to our sites". I have been camping for 50+ years and have never had any problems, I will not be staying there ever again. Every campsite said the same thing

All of the information regarding number of tents etc was on the confirmation you received when you made your reservation. We escort everyone that comes into the park to their site as a courtesy. And Kristine was not rude at all.

We have been staying at the Gaylord KOA for many years. The staff are very accomodating from the time you arrive. The campground is well kept. We also like the location which is close to many kayaking facilities. Hopefully, we will be able to return again next season.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds! The staff is always friendly, I’ve camped here many times before and I’m sure I’ll camp there many more!!

We had a great stay! Our only complaint is that our visitors were not allowed to stop at our campsite for even a quick minute to drop off items or our 88 year old grandmother. They wanted to stop real quick and then go to park in the visitor parking, but were told, “Absolutely not.” When inquiring further they were told by the gentleman working, “You can’t because I said you can’t.”

Having stayed in Gaylord KOA several times it was a no brainer to return. Campground is quiet and enjoyable. We had two other family members an families meet us there because of location and quality of park. One previous stay was most uncomfortable but this time staff went above and beyond to accommodate all of us. Thanks to all there and we will be back next year.

We switched campgrounds because they last one didn't treat us nicely which wasn't a KOA. This was our first time staying at a KOA, and it was so nice. Everyone was so friendly. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fire pit. It was difficult to start and keep a fire going.

There are nice aspects about the park, trees and lots for the kids to do. We got a bad campsite (30). It was very small and lacked shade and privacy. It was right next to the main path. Our fire pit was also very close to the road and the path, lacking much space for sitting around a campfire. Other campsites were quite roomy, even allowing for tents! We were very disappointed in our site.

Our site was muddy on the day we arrived so we politely asked to change sites & were told no. There were plenty of other sites available all week. We were not given any reason as to why we couldn’t change. We stayed a week because we had an event to attend. The day we left the trailer was surrounded by water. It was impossible to tear down the campsite without getting dirt/sand everywhere. UNHAP

Deluxe Cabin 21 has a great floor plan. Large room with bunk beds and floor space for kids to play. We will be renting this cabin again in the near future!

Friendly staff, very clean. It made me very happy to see that they left trees!!! The KOA that we stayed in the night before was a parking lot, this campground is beautiful. A great value. Will go back again!

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
