Everything was great! Only thing was we wanted to have a bonfire but the wood was really wet! Other than that, it was GREAT!

It was very nice. Only thing they would not let our emotional service dogs in office and rec center. I think that might be against the law. I have letters from my dr and vet that she is trained to be at my side for emotional security reasons which I can provide if necessary

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

If you look up the ADA guidelines, it states that emotional support animals are not considered service animals.

Very pleasant stay. Nice site. Very quiet area. The only disappointment was no paved roads and some of the amenities needed updating. Restrooms and showers were clean. We stay there again.

We had a wonderful week stay at this Gaylord KOA. Park is very clean including the laundry and showers. Pool is also very clean. Bounce pillow and other things for kids and teens. WIFI pretty Close to Gaylord. The Ostego state park (beach) is very close - about 10+ minutes. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Saw beautiful Elk at the elk farm between the KOA and Gaylord. We WILL return.

This is a smaller KOA but I like how everything was set up. The pool is in a nicely central location. We had a nice corner lot. It's definitely on the quieter side. You have to pay for most activities, but they offer a pass for $10 and that's good for you stay, so not too bad!

Rey well maintained. Beautiful Campground. I still don’t understand the $5 for each guest we have. I can see keeping the Rifraff out but these people are invited guests

Wish the dump station and potable water stations had hose ends on the hoses to be able to hook up to the RV.

Unfortunately the health department does not allow us to have threaded ends on the hoses.

Beautiful tall trees. Staff very attentive and polite. Clean! Beautiful pool area, well kept. Lounge chairs have aged, could be replaced. Would absolutely go there again !

We really enjoyed our stay in Gaylord. The site was a nice size, level, shaded. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The whole campground is clean and well maintained. The wifi was good, they make sure quiet time is observed. The staff was also very friendly.

Another great stay all in all very nice camp ground. With that said there is one certain employee that is over zealous about his job. We had a very heavy gift that required a guest to park near our campsite to unload from the vehicle and move it back to overflow right away. Instead of asking us if there was anything wrong he sounded as crime had been committed. Kindness goes a long way just saying

Site was crooked so we had to move our camper 4 times still wasn't level and it broke our Stabilizer bar, we just bought our camper too! Owner polices the gates and areas and watches the campers as we are sitting outside. Very rude. Also he Yelled at us that we are not "allowed to drink after 10 pm. Im sorry I'm 50 yrs old. Nobody stops me from doing anything. Will NEVER STAY HERE or recommend it

Friendly campground staff. Spacious level sites. Pool nice and clean. Bathroom showers not as clean. Moldy shower curtains and the drains;only one shower drain so every person’s shower water flows through your shower floor. GROSS! And highly unsanitary. Be sure to pick the shower furthest from the drain! Recommend investing in new shower system.

The park is very clean, the owners are wonderful, helpful, We love camping there, site are level and big and they bring you in! Their store is amazing and well stocked. We give this KOA 100 stars! Can wait to go back next year.

This location was not up to the high standards that we have experienced at other KOA sites. Not as clean or as well maintained as other KOA locations we have stayed at in the past!

It's kinda pricey compared to a state park but there's lots of amenities. Kinda bummed that they charged us extra for a second tent.

An outstanding campground!! We spent 4 nights in the campground in a full hook-up-pull-thru site with our Big Rig and were very satisfied with the entire experience; the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay at this campground again when we are back in Michigan and traveling through the area next year. mw

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
