This educational event is hosted by the Daniel Lady Farm which was Purchased and restored by the GBPA in 1999. The Historic Daniel Lady Farm served as Johnson's Headquarters and then a Confederate field hospital during the Battle of Gettysburg. The barn has authenticated initials carved by soldiers cared for there and the house still has blood stains in the floor. Don't miss your chance to feel history come alive this Independence Day!

South Mountain Fair:
A small country fair featuring rides for the kids, barns filled with farm animals, many homemade needlework exhibits, photography, home canned fruits and vegetables, fresh produce and fruits, and beautiful flowers, all on display. The Gettysburg Brewfest consists of over 40+ beer, cider and canned cocktail samples throughout the event. During the Brewfest, musical entertainment will be provided by Nick Mich. Food will be available, along with house and barn tours for your enjoyment! The Trail 5K event is a 3.1-mile race course on stone farm roads, grass farm paths, and through farm woods, exclusively on the Historic Daniel Lady Farm's 200 plus acre property. This beautiful trail race is open to both runners and walkers of all ages.
