Very well kept campground with a very clean bathroom and shower. The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and great to deal with. If I was to make one recommendation, it would be to add freeze proof hydrants at each site so the water wouldn't have to be turned off, just disconnected, when below freezing. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Traveling across Kansas this KOA was the only place at our stopping range. Booked on line. Upon arrival learned the water was off, we had booked for full hook ups to we could do laundry. Owner let us fill our water tank at the office. Sites were level, good utilities, quiet park.

Very cold and just a few days before closing for the season. Water was shut off, but owner helped me pump water from in front of the office into my tank and also let me use the dump station next to the office so I could flush my tanks clean, since this was my last night for the season. Very accommodating and helpful.

Basic, safe and quiet. Good for an overnight off the highway. Off season owners were not around much but everything went smoothly. Good selection of cable channels!

Just an overnight for us. Small park that backs to rural area, minimal highway noise. The bathrooms were older but appeared freshly painted & were very clean. Large kids playground area, smaller fenced dog run & a grass field to walk your dog-they even provided dog waste bag stations. Mature shade trees, level sites (not super wide), friendly staff, quiet, clean, safe. We slept great!

The stay was fine, but the landscaping and the environment was very poor. Rather than having a groomed island of grass or a rock between the slips, there are weeds and broken pieces from wood on the ground. Worst of all was it the slips weren’t just gravel but many areas of it was just dirt and neglected, so when I use the hose it just got muddy everywhere.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The day before your arrival we had 60 MPH wind gusts that resulted in some broken tree limbs. Since we have not has rain for over 6 weeks any "mud" was the result of your hose leaking. This time of year the grass and most landscaping is dead or already dormant.

Extremely friendly welcome at check in. Owner was particularly helpful. The bathrooms were spotless. Overall a very nice KOA for the area!

We like to stay over here on our way west. Owner Ray is friendly and helpful. Thanks Ray! Clean washers/dryers. Gambinos has decent food delivery. We will always stop here when we go this route.

it was fine, I will always try and stay at a kOA because I find that some pictures online of other campgrounds are very deceptive.

We stayed at 7 KOAs on this trip. This was one of the best. Clean and large site. WiFi good. No highway noise for once. Very peaceful spot. Unhooked to explore. Will stay here again

We stopped for an overnight on our way to Colorado and again on our return. The grounds are well kept, the bathrooms are spacious, clean and painted well. Spaces can be tight depending on your sides and slides, but ours fit well enough. Wifi was worthless, on and off constantly. Kids loved the “vintage” playground and had a blast with the other kids around. Def will stop there again!

Thanks for staying with us. Not sure why you had a wifi problem if you were on the camper network. Next time let us know so we can be sure you are on the right network. There is a repeater within 150 feet of that site.

Very nicely landscaped campground with friendly staff. Long and level site had lots of room and a tree canopy that was plenty high for our 5th wheel. Easy in and out. Great stay; would definitely stay again. Cable TV was great, too!

This is the second year in a row that we have made the drive from Denver for "one last camping weekend" to close out our camping season. The Goodland KOA is comfortable and convenient: easy access from the highway, through the campground, and in/out of the level gravel sites. It's 'no-frills' style is low key and appropriate, because they have the basics nailed down tight! We highly recommend!

The campground is clean, the owner is friendly and helpful. The campground is off of a local highway so there is some traffic noise but not what I would consider to be a problem. The pool was closed as the season is coming to an end for this facility, it is October after all. This is our second visit to this campground and we will return as we enjoy the rural feel of the area.

Noisy surroundings. Tain & big rig noise which KOA can not much to control. Other than noise, good place to stay. Staff is friendly and park was clean.

The owner was very friendly. I recommend installing a coin machine in the laundry room OR modifying the machines to accept BILLS and/or CARD in addition to the coins.

The campground was not crowded and we could pick our sight. The attendant was very nice and accommodating. We did not need to use any facilities. The place was far from the highway and very quiet. If we come this way again we will definitely return.

As a professional bs-ser I couldn't find a friendlier koa host. Ray took the time to talk to me about everything I asked. Closes for the winter.
