I only stayed one night as I was just passing through on a cross country trip. The camp site was very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. The Owner/host was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice KOA!! We requested a tent site with our cargo trailer and they were kind enough to give us a large site that accommodated our needs. The facility was clean, quiet, and had ample shade. 5 stars for sure!

One major problem: the men's room was dirty in both of my stays. In addition to cleaning, men's room could use a refurbish. This was an unfortunate finding in what is a good campsite overall.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Restrooms are cleaned every morning from 10:30-12:00. Unfortunately campers do not always keep them clean. We can't clean any other time since they are being used.

The tent site was on grass, not sand or mud. Management was knowledgeable and friendly.

Arrived early and were happy to find our tent spot which was located in the back with a nice shaded spot to pitch our tent. Camp host greeted us and offer to open pool early so we could relax and refresh before campground filled up. Spaces for tenting were spaced out to give us privacy which we appreciated. Very clean campground and showers were amazing! Camp host very friendly and welcoming!

This might just be the nicest KOA in the entire country, definitely the nicest I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful camp ground!! Clean, shiney, super friendly and beyond accommodating!!! Well done to the folks that maintain and run the place!!!

Quick one-nighter. Pool, bathroom, showers and laundry room were clean. Grounds were clean and well groomed. All we needed for a tent stay

Everyone is so friendly. The pool is perfect! The staff are just wonderful and kind. I would go back there in a heartbeat:)

Clean bathrooms. Easy after hours check in. Ear plugs recommended because of the noise from the highway.

Awesome stop for a Camping area for 16 Scouts and their adult leaders traveling across country. Accommodation for us was outstanding. Will add to our next trip through.

Mowing and spraying for bugs, prior to guests checking in, would be helpful. We were relentlessly attacked by giant June bugs and mosquitos, so much so that we had to pack up and find a hotel. What was supposed to be a relaxing night of camping for $30 turned into a desperate search for a hotel to sleep in at 10pm, along with the additional costs of having to pay for the hotel room. NOT HAPPY.

Nice setting, good amenities. It's convenient from the freeway. Bugs are active this time of year (early June) so bring your bug spray! The facilities were clean and staff was friendly.

Very clean and nice bathrooms. We enjoyed the fenced dog play area. We also found the campground to be very quiet. We would stay again.

It was fine for a night. I thought it was strange that we were put right next to another camper when there were plenty of unreserved spots. And our site had a picnic table that was totally covered in bird crap and not at all useable. It didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned. The positives are that it was easy to find and quiet especially considering how packed in everyone was.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have not placed a single tenter next to anyone during the 2020 season but cannot control others who come in after hours. Tables do get cleaned and painted regularly but cannot do anything unless you actually mention it while your here and not after the fact; nor can we control nature.

Always feel safe and comfortable staying at Goodland during road trips. The last stay there I found someone in my spot I reserved, I arrived late as I had informed staff, picked up my reservation slip from the laundry area on way in, proceeded to site 156 and it was occupied. I was tired and just wanted to sleep so moved to 154. I spoke briefly with the people in my spot, they had no idea. ?.

Gardening was a little behind. There were multiple weeds growing onto the sidewalks. Tent site was good.

We were a little stranded as we were having van trouble. We arrived on a Saturday and need a two night stay. Ray was able to accommodate us with a very nice shaded spot and even opened the pool early for us. 1st class facilities and 1st class service. Even met some very colorful locals. I highly recommend this KOA. Dave and Lisa, Iowa.
