A friend and I stayed one night to just get away. It was very clean. Staff is friendly. We will be back this summer when everything is green!!! Very nice place!

Second stay -- never again. Last time I visited, when I saw how close the campground is to the interstate, I switched from a tent site to a more secure cabin. This time, I didn't even stay. I reserved a cabin again, but the bathrooms near my cabin weren't open yet. I left and drove through the night to get home, stopping instead at rest stops to nap. Boring KOA. Not for kids.

Traveling to Denver. Needed a simple, but nice overnite accommodation. Cabin was clean, amenities nice, and bathrooms & showers topnotch! PS: and quiet!

We stayed one night in a cute cabin. It worked out great as we were a few hours late due to unexpected car problems. The bathrooms and shower were close by and clean. We saw a gorgeous sunrise the next morning.

We were there less than 8 hours, but it was a nice stay. Right off the interstate, bathrooms were clean and I liked the individual stalls and showers (in the section we were in). Would stay again if need be.

My little cabin was clean, cute & cozy. I slept SO well. And the bathrooms & showers were clean with plenty of hot water.

The cabin we stayed in was not a deluxe cabin, there was no coffee pot, we like a coffee pot, it did have a coffee pod, they give you four, but you have to pay for the rest, we stayed there 4 nights, not happy with that, the cabins are smalll.. good for someone that is staying one night..

Really nice and helpful staff. It was surprisingly quiet and grounds were very impressive and clean. Easy to get to. We really enjoyed the short stay in the cabin!

I have a service dog. At check in the associate was very nice but claimed service dogs were to be charged the $5 pet fee. I explained service dogs were not pets they were medical equipment. She said she understood but the campground was not denying access just charging a fee. I again explained this violated ADA. She said she would follow up. I'd like to see proper training. She did remove the fee.

We rented the Laredo RV. Three issues with the unit were ants, what looked like urine left in the toilet and the AC quit working during the night. We liked the AC was running and the unit was cool when we checked in. The staff was very nice and the campground had nice amenities and was well maintained. The RV we rented has peeling paint on the outside and looks "tired" but was nice inside.

short and sweet, provided convenient accommodations with AC easily accessible to Rte 80. Dog friendly., not sure why extra fee for a dog. Pricing of cabins overall has gotten a bit $$$.

I’ve stayed in several KOA cabins across the US, this cabin was one of the nicer ones & well maintained. The people working at the campground that I interacted with were all helpful & very nice.

I stayed in a camping suite. The shower did not appeared to have been cleaned. The coffee cups in the suite were dirty. On the other hand, the room was comfortable and quiet.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is neat and tidy. We stayed in one of their cabins and loved it. We stay here every two years when we attend our family reunion. Nice pool and dog parks.

We stay at KOA's every summer, for about the past five years. Our route plan needed a final night and we choose the Grand Island for mainly the location. Our night was in a basic cabin. It was shady, had a great patio. We ordered a pizza at check-in and it was delivered to our camp and was very good! The facilities were maybe the cleanest and modern I have experienced. It is in our book as a PLU

Grand Island KOA is a lovely campground in the country. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer.

RV needs an outdoor grill or firepit and steps need attention for those that are not so steady on feet. Banana bikes need SERIOUS attention. Ladies at the desk were helpful with getting someone to solve tv/stove issues. Pizza was delicious. Glad we didn’t tent camping this time…such close quarters you could share pillows with your neighbors(literally-not exaggerating)RV we rented was amazing/l

Wonderful Cabins!!!! We slept so good that we got up late to start our day of traveling... the Pizza was fantastic and the staff was AMAZING!!!! I give this place an A++ this is our second stay...and WE WILL back again....

The smell of the water is absolutely disgusting, cabin did not have the essentials stocked the way the other KOAs I have stayed in have, there were tons of ants in our cabin that got into everything we had with us.

We rented a cabin for a week long stay. We have stayed at the Grand Island KOA many times, great staff and nice pool/playground, we usually bring our RV but rented a cabin this trip, It was a nice cabin but needed some maintenance, ant killer, and wasn’t as clean as we like. Floors and table were sticky, dirty mirror, dirty windows, etc. TV channels didn’t work.

I love all the trees. My kids enjoyed the playground and watching the crop-duster fly back and forth. We woke up with ants in our cabin—I wish I had been reminded not to leave food out. The bed was noisy. The air conditioner and window fan we so nice to have, as was the private bathroom. Overall, the cabin was cute, and we will definitely be back.

We have had better stays. This time tv not working. Ants in cabin. The water smelled like sewer water. I would like some of my money back.

It was late in the season. We decided to stay here when my wife and I came down to visit family. The cabin was super cool. Place was clean and tidy and other than a few esthetic flaws it was in good repair. The patio was perfect to get together and spend time playing cards or just talking. The bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. It really was incredible. The loft for my daughter was great. The pull out couch option was ridiculous. That thing should have been replaced 20 years ago. We had a few treats on the counter and got over run by ants 🐜 the last nite. Notified the staff and they brought us an organic ant spray that work instantly. The maintenance guy even paid us for our lost treats.

Best facilities we've experienced on our trip so far. Excellent wifi as well. Store was near barren however. Nothing but beer and a few soft drinks.
