RV Reviews

I’ve stayed here before and chose it again and will do so again in the future. Both times, it has been during “off” season when its cold. There are a lot of choices in Green River, and there’s nothing around Green River, so people stop along the way on I-70. It’s what a love about KOA - predictability. It’s going to be clean, well-kept, easily accessible, flat spaces, and hospitable.

Bathrooms were clean and had hot showers! Camping was quiet and we got in late and we’re able to leave early with no issues

Great KOA right off the highway. Perfect for a quick stop for an overnight.

Very nice location

Lots of dirt around the campsites and the showers were small and poor water pressure. It’s all about the showers for me!! ‍

The Green River KOA was very nice, easy to find and centrally located. The guys there were very helpful and the place was clean. My only minor complaint would be the bathrooms didn't have paper towels, just blowers which are the worst and when I took a shower the water went cool when the people upstairs flushed the toilet. I plan to stay there again.

As usual, expected a clean, safe, efficient place to park over night and Green River didn't disappoint. Good job!

Very accommodating. stayed just one night as Moab was full. We will definitely stay here again

The park is conveniently located for seeing 3 national parks as well as state parks and other outdoor areas of interest. There is an excellent restaurant right next door. Trevor, the park owner, is friendly and very helpful. We loved out stay at Green River KOA.

Everything was as expected for a 1-night stay. Pull-thru sites are really long to support long rigs. Campground is large and has some trees. Is well away from the highway so is quiet.

Great WiFi, level spots, easy in and out!

Friendly front desk person. It’s a standard overnight stop on I-70.

Great site. Very helpful. Picked up, filled and brought back our propane. Only negative was our cable. Very poor reception. Over all will come back.

It was an awesome stay with a great team of staff members!!!!

I am not a fan of dirt and sand while camping or uneven lots so that said it was a good stay otherwise. Friendly helpful staff they had the restrooms open so that was a big plus, thank you for that. It was far enough from the highway to be a quiet night, another big plus.

This was our first stay at this KOA. Front office staff were very nice and informative. Site was clean and spacious. Restroom was very clean. CABLE would have been nice. Our rating of '4' is considered very high only because Covid-19 has put a lot of limits at the park. We will stay here again! Having Tamarack next door & John Powell Museum across street, gives it another plus!

We were happy with the location of this KOA. It was clean and quiet. The restaurant at the front of the campgrounds was good & there are 2 truck stops win a mile. Also, due to construction in Moab we are certain we were able to get back to Green River after leaving Arches and Canyonland before anyone staying in Moab could make it back to their hotel rooms or campers. We would stay here again.

We loved the location and the host kindly directed us to some local beauty which we truly appreciated!!!

I'm sure the campground was nice but it was too freaking cold to experience much. (It got down to 18 degrees the night we stayed! BRRRRRR!!!)

Nice camp spots; camp host was very personable and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Areas were clean.

Nice park just a lot of flies

Excellent as always.

Clean, staff in the office was super friendly, and was an easy drive to Moab. There isn't anything in Green River (a couple gas stations and a very small grocery store), but if you're just staying a couple nights it's great and avoids the crowds in Moab.

This is a busy campground! Make sure if you reserve online that you know what you're getting as I ended up in a space without cable and there was no wiggle-room in the reservations to move to another spot. Good dog park, clean bathrooms, relatively quiet with the exception of a crowd of mooing cows a couple nights. Accommodating staff. They have room to grow.

Nice staff. Camp sites spread out OK, not great but OK. Could use some more gravel in places so we didn't have to walk in actual dirt.

Will not stay again.

We typically camp in a more Northern area (i.e one with trees) which might impact our expectations. We stayed in a newer section with no vegetation. The older area has some trees and shade, but the one tree in our spot was about 5-6 feet tall and looked like it was dead. Hosts were very friendly and helpful which was great. Overall, the park was average.

Nice place to camp.

Facility need upgrading. Trees all dead or dying and grass dead. Electric hook up looked like it had been shorted. When we took cover off sewer/ dump hook up smell was horrific. Needs servicing or something.

We based in Green River for our Arches, Canyonland and Dead Horse excursions since Moab was completely booked 3 months in advance. This is a well run KOA, with spacious, level sites, clean restrooms and a terrific restaurant next door. No real ambiance, and a bit dusty, but you're not likely to be spending a lot of time in the park anyway with all the attractions 45 minutes away.

Over priced, dirty, non helpful staff. We smelled a dead skunk very close to our camper. My husband reported it to the person at the front desk, his reply was “what do you want me to do about it”. Advice: KEEP ON GOING! Never again! Worst KOA ever!!

The staff was so friendly, nice and helpful with checkin, ideas of places to go nearby and misc other things. Laundry was clean. Campsites for the backins are nicely separated. Quiet. Wore masks in store. Nice variety of cabins too. Overall great two nights. About 45 min to Arches/Canyonlands(but no Moab traffic!!!) andc45 min to goblin park.

Update: We always stay here on our annual trip to the west coast. Have never had a bad experience. They added more spaces, and it's made the park even nicer. Just a quick one night stay, but liked the place. Requested a back in space instead because there were large, shade trees there in the 102 degree day. Probably the largest space we've ever parked in. Decent grassy area out our door. The pull throughs didn't have the grass, so it was another reason to request a back in. Large pool for a KOA, 8 foot deep, took a quick swim. Didn't go into the bathrooms, or laundry room, so I can't comment as to those. Amazing WiFi for an RV park. Granted there weren't many people there, but it was a nice change. Would most definitely stay again passing through. EDIT: Did stay here again while passing through. A great, little oasis in the Utah desert. Went into the bathroom/shower area this time, and it was clean, and very usable.
