Tent Reviews

The campsite is very clean and the people that take care of it are very helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed at this location several times growing up and I’ve never been disappointed. They are willing to work with late arrivals which is really nice. It’s also decently close to several of the parks in Moab (they’re about 45 minutes away). Great location and great staff :)

Heidi at the front desk was very pleasant and informative. She made my stay feel welcoming and safe. Many thanks Heidi!

We enjoyed the friendly, helpful hosts, the free coffee and the office had many items you may need. Staff helped us get the stuck tent stakes out. They had an outside kitchen area by our tent site with microwave and outlets, 25 hour locked shower and laundry. The pool looked wonderful. We walked around the dog area, cabins, and camper area. There little yellow butterflies everyday during our stay!

We paid extra for a tent site with electric. The electrical box and hose were right by each other. I plugged my phone in and the RV next to us used the hose which sprayed my phone and ruined it. We were too close to others

Quite. Stayed overnight. No issues.

Was greeted by an extremely friendly Jenna overall it was a nice stay. Only issue is we were looking forward to swimming in the pool because it was hot and it advertised that the pool was open until the September 28th, they closed it the day we arrived Sept 23rd. Not much shade there so we were very warm and didn't have anyway to cool off as we were tent camping.

Just overpriced… about $50 for a tent site. Showers were kind of dirty but not bad. Friendly staff.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Spotlessly clean, well-maintained campground. The pristine pool was a welcome relief from the 100 degree heat. Totally recommended the Tamarisk restaurant next door on the Green River. Only detractor was the size of our tent site; luckily we brought our smaller (4-man) tent, as our 12x15 ft one didn't fit. We'll be back again but with our RV.

It’s a great stopping place between Salt Lake City and is about 40 miles from Moab. I don’t recommend it for tent camping (no shade, lights at night, lots of mosquitos) but RV spots are great. Has a pool. Staff is very knowledgeable.

The amenities were always clean and so convenient! The staff was also very nice and so helpful our entire stay! By far the best KOA we’ve ever stayed at!

Great staff and very clean campgrounds. But there is NO shade from the trees. There is a lot of traffic and train noise though out the night.

Great & quiet place to stay! Very close to all the attractions too. Not much to see in Green River though.

The facilities were clean/ campground looked maintained but my issue was with campsite (T1). I was unaware that your car would not be right next to your actual tent site making you lug your tent and gear about 15 or 20 yards. I also felt very unsafe camped right behind a vacant lot with no fence barrier. It felt like pitching tent in a city. I seriously considered staying in a motel . Fix it.

There were plenty of open spaces at the site but they stuck us in a spot filled with ants. Would have liked a nicer grass pad not the dirt and sand we got.

I called to tell them I would have a late check-in and they told me to just go to the late check-in station and go to my spot on my own. It was very late and I was on a long road trip. I paid more for this spot for peace of mind rather than stopping at a rest stop or BLM land to camp. I also paid more money for a dog-friendly site. When I arrived, someone was in my spot with a large trailer....

Quick check-in. Clean facilities. Enjoyed the pool.

Very friendly person who checked us in. Appreciated there were no big lights to shine through our tent.

We had an excellent time. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean. The pool was great to cool off in the heat. Great home base for exploring the national parks.

The staff was unbelievably rude when we explained that we were in a tent camper (no airconditioning) with a heat-sensitive dog and needed shade in 100+ degree heat. The staff said the campground was full (it ended up less than half full) and the desk attendant did absolutely nothing to accommodate us except to say we could go to the other campground down the street and try our luck. No more KOAs!

The bathrooms could have been kept cleaner. Tent area was not clean of trash. Balloons and bandages found on the ground. Water at the kitchen sink never got hot enough to wash dishes. Tent area near hotel parking lot. Noisy and several patrons of the hotel take their pets to potty right behind tent site. Appears to cater to trailers.

Friendly staff and the pool on site helps deal with the heat. Close to Arches National Park.

When I entered, the woman who checked me in was handling a difficult situation with grace and kindness. It gave me the confidence to return to the office to ask for a different tent site when the one given to me wasn't going to work. She quickly and easily gave me another option. I also appreciated that the pool closed at the hour it did and it was respected. Overall, a good experience here.

I'm not sure about this stay. The shower was clogged. I told the cleaning lady about the clog. There isn't enough electricity outlet's on the site for the tent areas. I'm not sure if I'll stay there again not because of the area or anything else. I am not sure how I feel about the tent site. It's like they fixed up the rv site but forgot about the tent site. Can't cook at my site, no grill. Sad

Friendly staff and clean campground. Tent area was clean and good size, but not well defined. I would stay here again.

Website pictures were very deceiving, tent sites advertised grass pads, all they had were weeds at best. Even the tent sites over by the playground were subject to huge flood lights from the hotel next door. The staff was very friendly.

Arrived late at night but had a wonderful stay at KOA. The weather was perfect. Our site was right next to the restrooms but we didnt have any issues with noise. It was a convenient spot and we were able to easily park right across from our campsite to have access to the car.

The neighborhood was friendly. Easy check in

Enjoyed our stay. Restrooms clean and staff very friendly.

People were friendly and helpful but it is just a bare patch of earth kind of near a main road and train track. Facilities were very clean.

My son and I made reservations for a camp site, so we could take our SUV and mountain bikes off-roading, after getting vaccinated. We used a tent site that had power, so my soon could use the camp WiFi to do his school work online during our vacation. Staff was friendly, showers were warm, trash cans were accessible, camp store had everything we needed, and restaurants were walking distance.

Saved on battery usage thanks to the Motel 6 sign shining over the tent area. If providing a quality tent camping area is just an afterthought, at least give a price break.

Update: We always stay here on our annual trip to the west coast. Have never had a bad experience. They added more spaces, and it's made the park even nicer. Just a quick one night stay, but liked the place. Requested a back in space instead because there were large, shade trees there in the 102 degree day. Probably the largest space we've ever parked in. Decent grassy area out our door. The pull throughs didn't have the grass, so it was another reason to request a back in. Large pool for a KOA, 8 foot deep, took a quick swim. Didn't go into the bathrooms, or laundry room, so I can't comment as to those. Amazing WiFi for an RV park. Granted there weren't many people there, but it was a nice change. Would most definitely stay again passing through. EDIT: Did stay here again while passing through. A great, little oasis in the Utah desert. Went into the bathroom/shower area this time, and it was clean, and very usable.
