It was nice with some farm animals. Not too close to the fwy which is a +! We were in a spot (T) that had half grass & half dirt. The dirt area got so dusty, dirty during our stay and muddy & nasty on raining days which made it difficult for us especially when you have pets. Water pipe froze during the night so we were without water for 8 hours (went May 21-24) which is expected during the cold.

The first site we were given (#46) had large roots from the tree & the picnic table was close so it seemed that our 32’ 5th wheel wouldn’t fit between it & the tree. We were able to move to #42. The tables do move so the staff should have moved them to prepare the sites for incoming campers. Other than that it’s a great campground, friendly staff & animals. Even delivered my propane tanks to

Very nice staff. We got in late and had some things to do , so they were very accommodating about letting us check out late, late , late....was a big help. Wife was able to do a bit of town shopping while I hit the Hartman Rocks Mountain Bike Trail. Getting a greeting by the Donkeys was super cool. Park looks like its being worked on a-lot. Everything was great.

The grassiest Koa we've been to and like the spaces far apart. Love the animals walking around. Close to blue Mesa. Will come back for sure!! Thank you!

We had such a nice stay here! The entire campground was clean and very well taken care of. (The restrooms were some of the cleanest that we have ever seen.) The goats and donkeys were so much fun for the kids. The pond across the street was perfect for fishing. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back! *The only negative was the sites are close together.

Dirt pads filled with rocks and ruts, way to close to one another. Septic next to impossible to get cap off and way far away from a typical septic location. No cable TV, Wifi so slow it was worthless to me. All in all not a park I will use again.

Loved this campground! Open and airy after spending time in a sardine-packed campground in Moab. The cute donkeys and goats add to the mountain ranch atmosphere.

Opening day issues - nobody around to fill propane either on our arrival or departure day - unable to turn on water at dump station due to no valve handle - livestock poop all over campground and dog pen. Otherwise it was a nice location

Came for dog competition in Gunnison and loved the dog-friendly atmosphere. My furkids were not bothered by the presence of the fenced steer, sheep, goats or donkeys, but Charlotte the free-ranging pig caused them a bit of a surprise!

I love this place! It's off the main highway enough to feel "in the country." Great staff and even in early May they were ready for us. Clean, quiet, and peaceful! That's my favorite! I will be back!

I stayed two nights in a camping cabin, with my dogs. The cabin is basic. It was a short walk to the bathroom, showers, which are well lit at night.The staff are helpful and friendly. Overall it was very pleasant and relaxing.

We joined KOA so we could save 10% off our 13 day stay. When we went to pay they would only give us our membership fee refund because they could only do 1 discount. If I had known that I would have joined again prior to our arrival . Really was an unfair advertisement. The campground had goats who chased us, and 1 ran at me and rammed me and I got a 3 inch long bruise. I am 70 years old.

One night stay on way to Colorado. Our trailer had water issues so we had to use the outdoor sink for dishes... faucet handle was loose and water not very hot . But the shower was very clean and nice with good hot water.

Awesome Kampground! Loved the donkeys and goats. Also appreciated the grass throughout. Bathrooms very clean. And a very helpful staff.

We make this KOA our first outing each year and also our last outing! The 2 seasons are quite different and we truly enjoy the fall. The campground is laid back, quiet and of course our highlight is all of the animals, Jennie, Herbie, Grandpa, Joan, Fritz, Norman and many more. Dave is the best host!

We enjoyed our stay at the Gunnison KOA. However, the management needs to do some maintenance, the men's bathroom did not have any toilet paper, there were tree limbs all over the campground especially bad in the dog park. With a good cleaning this would be a fantastic place. Staff was friendly!

Beautiful Campground, quiet, well kept, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The bathrooms were clean and had very nice showers. Would highly recommend to stay here, also close to town. We had a great time, will definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the park was very well kept, we had a spacious grassy site, which was nice, no dust. Went in October & the fall colors were beautiful at park. Very nice off leash dog park. We will definitely stay here again in future.

I had called prior to booking thr night to specifically ask about a heater in the small A frame cabin. I was assured each had an electric heater. When I arrived late in the evening, the cabin had no heater. I went to Walmart and bought an electric blanket. I was refunded the cost of the stay the next morning to help cover the cost of my blanket and inconvenience. They were very cordial.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
