Fun place to stay. Love the animals roaming the campground. Grassy areas are very nice, no dust. Tha staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful and informative. Lots of hiking and sites to visit. Thanks for a pleasant stay. Dave & Dilma Smith.

One of our all time favorite spots. Love the well kept grass everywhere and the farm animals that roam the property. Only wish they had a swimming pool.

Overall a nice campground - needs some upgrades. We could see that they were hard at work clearing debris & removing the pond to put in more campsites. We never saw any camp workers like we do at other KOAs. Our picnic table was very un-secure - we sat down & it shifted to the left, not safe. We called the 1st nite, we never got a replacement. Should be more attentive to their paying quests.

The Goats and "Lamb Chop" the sheep were fun to see roaming freely through the campground. Great way to clean up the leaves and long grass! The burros were also friendly, This is a good campground for families with children. Lots for them to do. The only drawback that we had was that the Notorious RBG died that day and cable TV wasn't available... (we were supposed to be camping anyway)

Nice, spacious grassy sites and friendly staff. Goats and donkeys on the premises, as well as pigs and a huge bull! Disappointed we weren't able to have a site next to, or even close to our friends, even though we had requested it at time of booking a few months earlier.

Very pretty and clean but we were disappointed in our site. #44. Back in site but both parties on both sides of us were pulled in so we had no privacy on our site. Picnic tables right next to each other so a small common area between our one neighbor (motorhome) and us. First time we've experienced that in our rv'ing. Would definitely reserve a pull thru site next time.

Gunnison KOA is the first KOA we stayed at years ago. They introduced us to this style of camping. We love their sweet animals our kids love visiting. We try to always get at least one night every camping season at Gunnison KOA.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin and enjoyed our own kitchenette and bathroom. Staff great too!

The site was nice, the restroom/showers are VERY clean, and the owners were helpful and friendly. For as many people as were in the campground, the nights were very quiet.

Great hospitality. Love the animals. The grounds could be kept up a bit better. Broken tree limbs that had fallen on picnic tables and around cabins and broken picnic bench covered with broken tree branches. Has great potential to be top 5 star. Just a little more heart. All and all we would come back and cheering it on for greatness!

This is an awesome campground. I stayed for 8 nights. Very friendly staff and the local animals were always fun to pet and watch play. I will be staying at this campground again in the future. Thank you!

We had a wonderful, all grass pull thru site for 2 nites in mid September. Every one of the staff we met were polite and kind. On the morning of our departure we needed to have a couple propane tanks filled and was asked to leave them at the filling station. Shortly thereafter they were delivered by the owner Dave. We had a wonderful visit, learned of plans to expand. We will return annually.

Picnic tables need a lot of work. WIFI was not working half the time and was in and out when it worked.

Beautiful stay. Grass looked good this year. Let us check in about 30 minutes early, thanks. Love the new doors on the restrooms. One hint.... tell the person that works/lives above the office to please observe the 10pm "Quiet Time". The booming stereo/radio is irritating at 11:30pm.

We were there only 1 night. We were vert impressed with the lay out and all the farm animals just hanging out. Plenty of space between units.

The office appeared to be rarely open, never saw staff members on the grounds. The entrance is cluttered and unkempt. We paid extra for a “quiet” site at the back but workers were dumping pile after pile of cleared brush directly behind us from early in the morning until late at night. Our grass site was rutted and bumpy. The bathrooms were in poor condition. Will not stay here again.

Outstanding setting, friendly staff and within minutes of 4 wheeling and fishing. Surrounded by some of the most breath taking scenery in the World. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely a wonderful visit. Owners and guests were friendly. Campground was clean and well maintained. Pet friendly to say the least.

Like the farm animals. Good power, water and sewage hookup locations. Not over lit at night so good sleeping. Aircraft takeoffs a bit close but infrequent.

Dog park was a mess. People’s food trash on the ground & doggie ware bags. We ask two times the day of ckin for it to be cleaned up and then I even called. The next day also 24 hrs later we went to the office again & ask again for it to be cleaned up. The grounds it’s self were unkept. It was over grown not from the storm we realized the difference. Lots of pot holes and large mud in the grass

Every aspect of our stay was good except for the condition of the laundry equipment. Two machines out of service and a loud irritating noise from the one dryer that worked. Will stay here again

We love this KOA. The owner keeps the grass mowed and watered. Wee have friends who stay there also and we have a great time.

We absolutely loved the place. It was fun watching the goats and donkey roam the grounds. I would love to bring our grandkids.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
