Staff is pleasant and helpful. The goats, sheep and burro were a friendly, enjoyable surprise. Despite recovering from a Highwind storm and snow, the facilities were very clean and well tended.

Reserved as a walk in. As soon as i got to my site I had issues with a neighbor who left their dog in the camper yapping. Your staff jumped right on it & handled.

The staff was very friendly, and when we left my husband's favorite mug behind, they shipped it back to us. The sites were grassy and well spaced, and the goats and donkey that roamed the campground added to the ambience.

Most spacious koa we've stayed at. Loved the donkey and goats that were kampground pets. My little dog didn't love them but she got over me petting those bad creatures..lol

Big storm had hit park 3 days before I stayed there, water everywhere, hard to walk dogs and it rained most of the time I was there ...None of this their fault

This is a fantastic KOA. All grass sites with plenty of room. The owner Dave went above and beyond to make our stay great. The farm animals are fun to watch as they meander around the campgeound. Love this place!

This place is one of my favorite places to come and stay I love all the animals the owner has the owner is a wonderful guy he’s always smiling and happy he takes great care of everything around there we were there for the storm with the snow there was a lot of damage from trees we had no electrical in the whole town we had no phone service but we didn’t care we were in a great place�

We came to the KOA knowing there was a weather event with cold and snow. What we got was a huge wind and heavy wet snow that resulted in trees coming down throughout the site. Their response to assist campers and clean up was SUPERB! The owner Dave personally assisted and asked what he could do to help. Power and cell service down- they helped to identify road conditions and weather updates.

The scenery was great and the animals would be a plus for kids but the cabin was a little dated, the shower was too shallow and leaked onto the floor and we had to buy a cover for the front door window. The people were very nice but it may be time for some updates.

This was one of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at! All of the farm animals are the best! Everything was clean & everyone so friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA very much. It was very clean and loved the barn yard animals that were allowed to roam around. We will definitely be back!

This campground was in a nice area outside of town. It had a cozy feel to it. My tent spot had a small shelter over my picnic table which made a perfect spot to place all my motorcycle baggage to keep it dry just in case of rain.

We had a great experience at the Gunnison KOA. Friendly staff, clean amenities, and fun animals! We slept in the camper cabins and had a great experience! Would definitely recommend.

Had 2 major safety issues . The first one was with the portable heater ,when I tried to plug the heater in I received a pretty good shock from the heater and the back of the unit had a burn mark from the bad cord. The second issue was that there was no smoke detector in the cabin.

Nice, grassy lot. As with all KOAs, spots are close together. Paddleboats were not able to be used and there was some construction occurring around the pond. Lots of friendly donkeys and goats which the kids loved, but also resulted in animal feces around the campground and the sandbox. The owner was very nice and welcoming. Occasional airplane traffic from the airport across the street.

As always was a wonderful stay. Cabin was full of bugs however, spiders and things that bite. Store wasn't up to par, but COVID situation I am sure was to blame. Will be back.

Holiday weekend so it was crowded. I was under the assumption that because of Covid only every other space would be occupied. We were a little close to our neighbors (smokers on top of it). Loved the donkey and goats roaming around and super quite.

We had a great time. and met some cool fellow campers, out to enjoy all the beauty and wonder in our incredible USA!! Really enjoyed hanging out with the free range goats and mini donkeys. They were so well behaved. didn't ever see them initiate contact with any of the other campers or get into anything, but they enjoyed freely given attention. Great KOA!

We had a decent site. But although they have 3 hours between checkout and check in so they can clean up the site-they obviously didn’t clean up site 77-our site, as there were several pieces of trash in it. The goats and other livestock were cute and added charm.

The only complaint is the mattress in our cabin was old & worn, to the point the gravitational pull puts you slumped in the middle of the bed. Not a restful night. Besides that it’s very nice and staff is friendly.

Just wanted a place to relax. It was the perfect place. It was quiet and peaceful. The dog area was great also. This was the second time that I have stayed there. I had an issue with my motor home and they were very understanding. Luckily I was able to get the problem resolved but they rearranged sites so that I could stay another night if needed. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. See you again

What a lovely KOA!! Lots of grass, a pond and trees make for a wonderful environment. They have goats and a donkey that wander the grounds. So sweet they will come over to you if called. Soft to pet. Fun to feed.

Our stay at the Gunnison KOA is always perfect. We have stayed three times, and will definitely be back. The grounds are pristine, and this KOA has so much character! It is great for children and adults and is a family favorite of ours.

Just a little problem with electrical power fluctuations and low water pressure and dropping out of WiFi. The bane of all rv parks. After a while you learn to live with it.

It was a very enjoyable stay! The sites are well maintained and roomy. The staff are also enjoyable and friendly! I would definitely recommend this campground to any and all.

Loved the location, workers were very friendly. Glad we upgraded to a cabin instead of the 2 person sleepers, as there was construction on the pond in front of them, and it wouldn’t have been relaxing. The animals made the stay more fun, just make sure you close your car hatch when loading the car, or a goat might jump in and give you a stinky souvenir you weren’t expecting! �

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
