Nice place, the farm animals were a big hit. Our site was great, some of the others we noticed were very close together.

What a wonderful place. Only there for one night, could have stayed longer. Loved the goats and donkey that walked around.

We had a wonderful time in Gunnison. The KOA there is well maintained and the people are friendly.

Very nice KOA which incorporates a farm into the location. My 5 year old loved the goats, donkeys, cow/bull, and ducks. She would feed many of them each day. Limited play equipment for the kids, but that was not an issue with all the animals. Good cell service and reliable WiFi. Will stay again.

The campground is great, lots of grass for the dog. The dog walk was good size for ball chasing. The spaces were large and spread out. The only drawback about the camp is the airport right across the street. Noise started at 6:00 am. But I would stay there again anyway. The goats and the donkey roaming free were a novelty. Kids loved them.

Absolutely loved our stay. The park is very well maintained. All of the staff we met were friendly. The roaming farm animals are wonderful. We will definitely be back next year.

Did not like the way the back ins were set up, your door and the camper door are across from each other. Unfortunately the motor home beside us had three barking dogs, even when they were away they watched Out the window and barked every time we came out. For 5 out of 7 days we could not sit outside. We were not happy campers !

Many thanks for the wonderful place to stay. Staff are skilled and friendly, the grounds are immaculate, and there is plenty of space between RVs. Love the wandering goats! We'll be back again.

Way overcrowded and spaces too small. I have stayed there every summer for years and have never seen these conditions.

Nice grassy sites- so much better than gravel! Lots of shade trees too. Staff was very helpful and campground was clean. Did not use bathroom. Loved seeing goats and a donkey in their little petting zoo!

They advertise free wifi which we were going to need for a zoom meeting during the covid crisis but we tried it when we got there and it kept dropping out. Manager said we should have stayed home if we needed it. That it was so so. I didn't think that was a good response when we were paying $57 a night. But he did refund our money so we could go elsewhere. KOAs are expensive and not special

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Rarely respond Defensively to a customer comments. Absolutely did not tell customer that they should have stayed home. Did tell customer that with the distance and number of users that our internet would not perform like they have at home.

I have been camping at this KOA for a couple years now and ive never had any problems. My home away from home when i ride in Crested Butte.

I didn't like the goats roaming the campground. They should be kept to the entrance or a fenced area. The male urine is VERY offensive to me. The bathhouse was very nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was our first visit, and it is a nice & quiet RV park with some shade and located not too far from town. The grounds are kept up nicely! However, I do think an upgrade/expansion to the laundry facilities is in order. We will be going back!

Always enjoy staying here, very peaceful, love the grassy sites and the ponds. Very disappointed that one of the ponds will be filled in for more spaces. Please fix the lighting and the door closer in the women's restroom.

We had a nice stay at the KOA in Gunnison. Lots of trees and green grass, bathrooms were clean, and the donkeys In camp were a fun surprise!

You should say on your website that you have farm animals roaming around the site, we had two aussies that could not be good guests due to this. Never would have booked at your site had we known. :( Bathrooms also closed early and we had to leave without showers...no accomodations were offered when we offered the both insights.

We stayed only one night. We enjoyed the grass on most of the campsite and the proximity of the bath/showers.

Loved our stay in Gunnison. Our site was shaded and the campground was clean and so pretty!! We will definitely be back to camp here again!!

Really enjoyed the stay in the A frame cabin. Internet was a little flaky the first day or two but the remainder of the trip it was perfect. Enjoyed seeing donkeys and goats as we walked around the site. We will come back and stay longer to enjoy more of the area.

We only stayed for a brief moment but..it was great! Beautiful grounds well kept, the owner was Soo nice! Easy check in and out. The animals were a absolute bounus. Felt safe. Well worth dropping by just to say you did. Thanks you! We will be seeing you again.

Cared for facility, with many unexpected amenities. Staff/campers all very helpful and nice. So much trash being generated. Would be great to recycle even just cardboard/cans, and get everyone on board with breaking up boxes. Showers are awesome as well as having a sink for grey water. Majority of people great about mask wearing and loved the signage posted.

Our site had broken boards with nails sticking up and other maintenance trash strewn about. We left after one night.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
