Great KOA. Very clean and well kept grounds. The donkeys and goats were a huge hit and my daughter loved feeding and petting them. Great staff that were extremely friendly.

Family friendly! The animals get lots of attention...the pig should shed some weight so it can walk. Friendly staff making good effort to green up (grass) the location and make other improvements. Be nice to see a rendering of eventual finished work?? Although its location is across the road from the airport, plane sounds were not late or extra early so we barely noticed the runway.

We get to this KOA and stay as much as we can!!! Dave is the BEST host in the world, and this space makes memories that you will never forget. Our kids who do a ton of camping everywhere, beg to go here. It's almost magical fun. BEST!!

My only complaint would be the fact that the mattress for the bigger bed in our room was at its lifespan end. You can feel the slats and the foam no longer holds up. We took the bunk bed mattresses and put them on top to help us sleep. That did it. They were firm. The double bed mattress needs to be replaced. Otherwise...it was all good!

Owner was very nice and talkative. The sites were beautiful- large grassy areas. So fun to have farm animals around- donkeys, goats, even a pig!

We were there for 3 nights, visiting friends in the Gunnison area, and it was very nice! The check-in was exceptional due to the friendliness of the staff. The site was clean, freshly mowed, and adequate in size. If we are ever in Gunnison again, we will definitely try to stay at the KOA!

A-frame “cabins” are tiny & we continually hit our heads while trying to sleep on the 2 narrow hard “beds”. Our view was piles of concrete refuse. Fine dirt out front got everywhere. Goat feces throughout campground. Staff were very nice, though, and it was close to town. Never renting this type unit again. We’ve stayed in KOA’s regular cabins and they’re fine.

We had reserved a very specific spot at the camp. That was given away, disappointing…. Then we got stuck in a spot right in front of their well they use for watering the grass, very ugly and unsightly. The watering is a whole other issues. They water everyday, needless to say it is always muddy. Then the camp staff walked through our camp sight at least 10 times daily to move the water hoses

Beautiful camp ground, huge spaces between your neighbors, a friendly potbelly pig walks around the rv sites, the goats and donkeys stay up by the check in. The koa is convenient, quiet, and priced well. They filled our propane tanks and brought them back to us. They went out of their way to move things around so we could extend our stay by two weeks. Wonderful KOA camp ground!

Beautiful grass campsites with plenty of room to relax. Office staff and everyone we met working there were super friendly and helpful. Had fun watching the donkeys and goats on site, you can feed them too with veggies from the office. Wish we had time to have stayed more than 2 nights. Convenient for all of your Gunnison and Crested Butte excursions.

This is a great KOA! We love camping here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Love all the animals they have at the campground-donkeys, goats, and a really great pig! Campground is well maintained with lots of trees and grass.

Delightful place. Nice people. Well kept grounds. We have stayed several times and it’s a favorite! Thus time there was an illness in the family, and we left a day early. Ou money was refunded without our even asking. No one else would do that! �ϋ�

Really enjoyed the shade trees and the grass. All grounds kept up very nicely! Friendly staff. Will definitely be back to this campground when we return to the Gunnison Valley.

Clean facility with very nice attendants running it. Good gravel interior roads with grass between campsites. Ample room between sites also. Easy access off Rt 50. Great WIFI and good tv reception with just an antenna. Restaurants and shopping in town was very good. We will stay here again.

This was my 2nd stay and each time it's been the same quality: excellent campground, very welll maintained overall! The "pet zoo" is a nice touch for both kids and adults. Owners and personal are very friendly and welcoming. My go-to place when i travel to this area. Highly recommended!!

The staff is ALWAYS cheerful and helpful. I was able to reschedule a future stay (for the second time) without an issue. Facility was very clean the few times I've stayed here. Awesome overall experience! Highly recommended!

Very nice campground. Quiet, peaceful and well maintained. Daves petting zoo was fun, too! We will definitely be back to KOA Gunnison, CO.

Very nice facility. And wonderful staff. We arrived in Gunnison to retrieve a cat we lost 3 months prior. Some of the KOA staff also volunteer at the shelter. The connection with them, us and our lost Snickers was very nice. Thanks for your hospitality and care for all of us travelers!

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
