Love the maintenance of the grass and the grounds in general. Even though the additional camping area is under construction it didn't take away from the experience. The animals are a really unique touch. We try to spend time in the Gunnison KOA with Dave and staff every year

Stayed for the month of July. Site #30 was excellent. Dave the owner works seven days a week keeping everything in tip top shape.

It was wonderful. As always everyone is very accommodating! We had some tremendous storms and your crew was immediately at work trying to pump excess water, etc. so that everyone could enjoy the campground after the downpours. Your staff is amazing! We love the donkeys and goats. We will definitely come back again.

Lots of mosquitoes!!! Space was fine. Just couldn’t open anything without a swarm of mosquitoes flying in.

Check in was easy and spot was easy to find. Loved the sound of the water running behind the spot - didn't love the bugs! Restroom and shower were clean!!!!

I was a bit dubious when I realized the campground was behind the airport but pleasantly surprised when we discovered how quiet it was. We stayed for about 10 days and really enjoyed it. It was a convenient to the things we wanted to do. The wifi was fantastic (best of any campground we've stayed), which is important since I work on the road. Loved all the farm animals!

We were in the first pull thru by the donkeys. We had lots of flys and mosquitos. The restrooms were immaculate and the help was friendly and helpful. If we were to come again we would prefer to be in the back on the grass. They also had free firepits that they brought to the sight. We enjoyed the campfire with our group.

Great campgrounds nice and grassy. Donkeys and goats are a plus. Camp employees are always willing to help. One of the nicest journeys we’ve stayed at.

Dave and his employees went above and beyond when my husband and I needed help while staying in Gunnison. We can't thank you enough for all you did for us. The park is very comfortable and clean and the animals just added to our enjoyment.

The folks running this place are amazing and the property is very well maintained. They're constantly watering and mowing the lawns for each site. Everyone seems happy to answer questions and engage in conversation. They also have goats and donkey's walking around which is pretty cool for the kiddos!

Only complaint would be the airport right beside of it, but there is no way to prevent the noise. All employees were nice and courteous.

Plenty of room between RVs. WiFi signal was excellent. The lawns were well taken care of. We understand the campground will expand sites in the future - we recommend that the amount of toilet stalls be expanded also.

Great time. Showers were clean and always available when needed. Employees were awesome, extremely helpful. Issue with flooding due to hard rain but employees worked very very hard to get it taken care of quickly.

Loved the large grass sites for myself and the dog. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Dave the owner helped me with my leveling blocks (it was minor but the position I wanted on the site). Always stopped to talk when he was out.

Very well kept up KOA--clean bathrooms, nice grass to park on, friendly owners. Only problem was with other campers and heir kids walking on my site and being laud after quite time started at 10pm. Maybe a quick lesson at check in to all the newbies about camping etiquette would be helpful! Since Covid people seem to becoming pretty rude in all settings including camping!

Although we only stayed one night this KOA was awesome. Super fun every spot was covered in grass and overall the place was very clean. Very spacious spots. Given the chance we would definitely stay again.

All staff members were friendly and responsive to requests and needs. Extremely grateful for the support provided by management in support of an emergency with our pet. This was our fourth visit and we have enjoyed every visit.

We had such a great time staying in Gunnison. The KOA was terrific, very helpful staff and the owner Dave is always onsite to handle anything that comes up, including all the wonderful grass at the campsites. The town has lots to offer. We stayed active everyday and our list of to-dos just kept growing. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely grassy sites. Lots of standing water. Fun goats and donkeys. Kind of run down in areas ( the house at the entrance. )

Great WIFI and nice trees are offset by overcrowding. Way too many vehicles and people in too small an area. This is especially frustrating since their maps show a future camping area that should be used to decrease the crowding.

Loved the Gunnison KOA. The grounds were well kept and the grass was a welcoming sight after spending 2 weeks on gravel and rocks at other camps. Enjoyed feeding the donkeys and goats. The owner and staff were very friendly and ready to help out with whatever we might need. Nice dog park for our pup. We will be back next summer. Wish there was a hot tub to soak in on those chilly evenings.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
