Great people, very accommodating. Some sites are simply too crowded/tight and not welcoming. mosquitoes were horrible. I believe it is the KOA’s responsibility to address these issues.

While the majority of the sites are nice, we happened to back up to a trashier area and site was muddier. Facilities need some TLC. Great location in Gunnison.

Loved our RV site on K but we also had a mini kabin. No heat and it is a rough trail to bathrooms. Also had a critter scratch at door. Loved the goats and burros. Bathrooms clean but need some ceiling work . Nice front desk help.

You have a wonderful staff and helpful The staff is on top of everything Clean restroom, wonderful camp sits. They keep the lawn move and there is NO trash around. We have stayed there for the last five yeas. Will be back next year Thanks for your wonderful services

md the mosquitoes were the worst we've come across. The animals looked sad, especially that poor pot belly pig whose belly draged the ground.

Love the children’s playground, farm animals and large grassy RV sites. It was a delight to stay here.

We stayed for one night while traveling through the area and had a great experience. The grass area was amazing and we loved the friendly donkeys and goats at the entrance to the park. The bathhouse was very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a great campground with grass sites and many farm animals. Has Wi Fi and we had great cell service. Close to town for groceries and restaurants. Gunnison is a nice small town.

We had a great stay. Loved the grass and amenities. Our only issue was the mosquitoes. There is a lot of standing water and we had to stay in our trailer most of the cool mornings and evenings. I don't know if there is any way to address. We would love to return next summer.

This is very well maintained, the staff is very friendly and having animals roaming around and available for the kids to pet, see was awesome. Also the staff was always around, taking care of the sites and making sure things were clean and maintained. We will be back.

We have been visiting friends in Gothic and Irwin for years. After Rockey River RV closed down, we starting at this Gunnison KOA. It has consistently been terrific. This year it was really full, but even then, things were great. A great center of operations in the CB-Gunny area.

Game room light didn't work; didn't know until we asked another camper we could get a firepit to our site (didn't come with one); dog park is a little remote and not very kept, but didn't matter too much, we just walked our dogs on leash & picked up after them. Campground clean and nicely kept, loved the stream behind site; staff friendly/helpful; loved the barnyard animals! We'd stay here again.

The 30 amp service at our site was broken, but they gave us a 50 to 30 amp adapter so we still had service. They over watered everything. The ground was soggy. When we were cleaning up to depart they pulled up and literally dumped water from a water truck right where we were trying to put things away. This made enjoying the outside less fun as everything was swampy. They were friendly though.

This is the second time we stayed in this beautiful KOA. We love how spacious the sites are and the wonderful grassy areas.

The grounds were constantly being watered and were saturated and puddles of standing water, ponds, etc brought tons of mosquitoes! Even with bug repellent we got bit! Couldnt sit outside our camper because of the mosquitoes. Goats running loose as well as a pig that chased after our dogs and hubby while he was out. Couldnt open windows to camper because it smelled of animal feces. (Pig,horse).

I could tell the owner and staff took a lot of pride in the campground. It was well kept, good size sites, some wooded, and all the farm animals were a fun addition. Small dog park area, good sized free showers, and it is on a side road so overall it was quite peaceful.

Our site was on soft dirt. Lucky we had a outside rug to put on top of it. They should fill in and fix the large potholes on the entrance driveway.

Good location, next to town. RV spots are a gavel strip with surrounding grass.....large trees and a picnic table. Bathrooms are good. Would like to see the grounds keeping improve by removing junk in front of garage by house as you drive in. Will be back.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
