friendly staff, they actually wave as you drive by! enjoyed all the grass and trees and quiet (except for the airport helicopter drills Sunday at 7am)

We had a great stay at this KOA. Goats, donkeys, and even a pig visited our campsite during our stay. The sites are all grass and very nicely manicured. you step from RV to nice lawn. The only negative during our stay was a helicopter that was doing training or something. The campground sits near the small airport so you do hear the occasional aircraft. Not a big deal.

It was great, except for the dirt campsite, which turned to mud in the rain. We noticed other campsites were graveled, and we wished we had gravel. Also, the water and electric were on the wrong side for standard RVs.

Loved every bit of my stay at the Gunnison KOA. Super friendly staff, friendly guests and even friendly animals. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this KOA.

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at home. The staff are sincerely friendly and extremely helpful. Dave, the owner, was especially helpful with my initial setup and in moving to my second site. I am so glad I chose Gunnison KOA to be my home for the summer 0f 2021. I will return next season for sure, God willing.

It happens everywhere, but there were three families that were staying close to each other and were up close to midnight three nights in a row. Hard to sleep in a pop-up with that much noise.

First time staying in Gunnison and friends recommended the KOA. Great campground and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Loved seeing all the little kids playing with the animals. Very clean facility as well. Also really liked that it was an easy ride up to Hartman Rocks to hit the trails. We will definitely be back to this campground!

The grounds were clean and maintained. People were friendly. The bathrooms were very clean. Lots of hot water for showers. Easy to book a stay. Nice quiet area. Very pleasant stay.

This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms and grounds were very clean. The quiet time was posted and enforced, general surrounding noise level was very low. Location was super. The spaces are laid out to feel like there is adequate space and privacy. The dog park was stocked and big enough for our two dogs to enjoy

Nice grassy sites . Lots of improvements going on within the park - site leveling , expanding some sites . The best part is the farm animals - donkeys , goats and pot belly pigs !!!

Green grass, level sites, happy and friendly staff, Dave & Susie are wonderful and the very best part is all of the animals! It’s better than visiting the zoo! Welcome Wilbur aka Wilburina and Rest In Peace Boo. See you this fall, until then I’m sure someone else will bring carrots for the gang...FYI-Norman & Wilbur don’t care for carrots, but Jenny loves them.

It was nice with some farm animals. Not too close to the fwy which is a +! We were in a spot (T) that had half grass & half dirt. The dirt area got so dusty, dirty during our stay and muddy & nasty on raining days which made it difficult for us especially when you have pets. Water pipe froze during the night so we were without water for 8 hours (went May 21-24) which is expected during the cold.

The first site we were given (#46) had large roots from the tree & the picnic table was close so it seemed that our 32’ 5th wheel wouldn’t fit between it & the tree. We were able to move to #42. The tables do move so the staff should have moved them to prepare the sites for incoming campers. Other than that it’s a great campground, friendly staff & animals. Even delivered my propane tanks to

Very nice staff. We got in late and had some things to do , so they were very accommodating about letting us check out late, late , late....was a big help. Wife was able to do a bit of town shopping while I hit the Hartman Rocks Mountain Bike Trail. Getting a greeting by the Donkeys was super cool. Park looks like its being worked on a-lot. Everything was great.

We had such a nice stay here! The entire campground was clean and very well taken care of. (The restrooms were some of the cleanest that we have ever seen.) The goats and donkeys were so much fun for the kids. The pond across the street was perfect for fishing. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back! *The only negative was the sites are close together.

Dirt pads filled with rocks and ruts, way to close to one another. Septic next to impossible to get cap off and way far away from a typical septic location. No cable TV, Wifi so slow it was worthless to me. All in all not a park I will use again.

Loved this campground! Open and airy after spending time in a sardine-packed campground in Moab. The cute donkeys and goats add to the mountain ranch atmosphere.

Opening day issues - nobody around to fill propane either on our arrival or departure day - unable to turn on water at dump station due to no valve handle - livestock poop all over campground and dog pen. Otherwise it was a nice location

Came for dog competition in Gunnison and loved the dog-friendly atmosphere. My furkids were not bothered by the presence of the fenced steer, sheep, goats or donkeys, but Charlotte the free-ranging pig caused them a bit of a surprise!

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
