Lovely campsite BUT, And I did not extend my stay at Site 62, nor did Site 61, because family at Site 89 throughout the night's early hours went to his car 4 times, turning lights and beeping their car locked. I was exhausted, then their children started screaming by 5.30am. I couldn't risk it again. Other than a sign at the bathroom more account should be taken of this behavior.

We have been coming to this KOA for the last 3 or 4 years and love it! Great atmosphere, well taken care of and very clean bathrooms! The staff is amazing, always friendly and ready to help you if you need something! Dave the owner does an amazing job keeping the campground beautiful! Love the farm animals also!! Will be going back there soon!!

Went to Gunnison from Bend, OR to do the Gunnison Growler mtn bike race. I have stayed in many KOA’s and this one is now my favorite. Great staff, amazing owner and what a collection of really cool animals for petting and observing.

We loved the animals, the showers, the price, and all the fun things for kids to do. We love the that the location was rideable to Hartman Rocks. We had a great stay, will definitely be back! Thanks!

Wonderful fall experience. Everything needed is a short walk away - charming staff, animals! (petting zoo feel) quiet, no problems, very good Covid awareness and precautions.

Just wish the bathrooms were warmer as when you take a shower your freezing, even though the water itself is warm.

The site was nice, the restroom/showers are VERY clean, and the owners were helpful and friendly. For as many people as were in the campground, the nights were very quiet.

This campground was in a nice area outside of town. It had a cozy feel to it. My tent spot had a small shelter over my picnic table which made a perfect spot to place all my motorcycle baggage to keep it dry just in case of rain.

We had a great time. and met some cool fellow campers, out to enjoy all the beauty and wonder in our incredible USA!! Really enjoyed hanging out with the free range goats and mini donkeys. They were so well behaved. didn't ever see them initiate contact with any of the other campers or get into anything, but they enjoyed freely given attention. Great KOA!

What a great location for family and everyone. David, the owner is super helpful and nice. The property is a little older but the animals visit makes everything special.

Check in was easy and the front desk staff was very nice. They were also very accommodating when I had an issue with 30amp hookup compatibility. They searched their open spots and moved me to a 50amp site and didn’t charge me for the upgrade. Next time I’m in Gunnison, I will definitely stay here again.

friendly people and well kept & clean grounds.... other than the C17 Military cargo plane that was practicing landing/take offs...it was a good location. The young man checking us in was Great.... I'll be back!

I loved my stay. Enjoyed the animals. I do want to let people know with dogs if they go to the other side of the airplane landing there is a nice dog park. I found it on my way out of town. I enjoyed the dog off leash area at KOA but people seemed to want their dogs to be the only one in the area. Loved all the grass and shade available. Really nice campground I would stay again.

Lots of fun and in a nice area with trees, a small pond and a running river. Prices at their small market are amazing, they do not try to take advantage of a captured audience. Looking forward to returning however longer next time.

I have been camping at this KOA for a couple years now and ive never had any problems. My home away from home when i ride in Crested Butte.

I didn't like the goats roaming the campground. They should be kept to the entrance or a fenced area. The male urine is VERY offensive to me. The bathhouse was very nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cared for facility, with many unexpected amenities. Staff/campers all very helpful and nice. So much trash being generated. Would be great to recycle even just cardboard/cans, and get everyone on board with breaking up boxes. Showers are awesome as well as having a sink for grey water. Majority of people great about mask wearing and loved the signage posted.

I was glad you were able to make last minute accommodations for me. I enjoyed the atmosphere however the tent sites were very close and shared picnic tables but mine was close to the restroom which is a big plus!

Very flat and nice grassy tent sites! Firewood onsite and portable fire rings were a nice touch! Not sure about all the goats and donkeys running around! Two goats got into the women's restroom and was eating the toilet paper right off the roll. Lol! Would recommend replacing the toilets to something more modern "comfort height and elongated". Home Depot for $97 each, Glacier Bay is the brand.

I love KOAs, but this one was exceptional - not gonna lie, mainly because there's a petting zoo, and our site was directly across from the lovely and soft donkeys :) But seriously, great location, clean, quiet. A gem!

Unique with the donkeys and goats walking around, but the super nice and even dog friendly… they stay to the perimeter, not in your site. Very friendly staff, big sites, very little airplane noise, not an issue.. two thumbs up!!

This place is just amazing!! Beautiful central location to see the sites in this area of Colorado. Great park with decent spacing between sites, grass (not dirt lot). The staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We've stayed here 2x and never disappointed.
