Visitors MUST register before going to your site, you may pre-register them when you check-in

NO REFUNDS for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July and all Halloween Weekends Oct 1st thru November 2nd.
RV/Tent: 7 Days to cancel your RV/Tent reservation - CALL us by 4 pm at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. A $20.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Camping Cabin: 14 Days to cancel your Camping Cabin reservation - CALL us by 4 pm at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival. A $20.00 cancellation fee will apply.
Deluxe Cabin (Lodge) or Conestoga Wagon - CALL us 1 month before arrival. A $75.00 cancellation fee will apply. After 1 month, there will be NO refund.

We all love our pets but some campers do not! Remember to keep your 4-legged family member under control at all times. A 6-foot leash or less on them is a must at all times. Barking dogs will NOT BE tolerated. Some folks come to relax and sleep. 4-legged family members left unattended at their campsite is a big no-no! No 4-legged family members are allowed to stay in a cabin or lodge unattended. See the General Store if you need a sitter. Please remember to pick up after your pet at all times. If you are seen/reported not picking up after your pet, you will be asked to leave.

YOU must have your visitor register at the General Store; you may register for them before they arrive. Anyone without a car tag will be asked to leave.
Visitor hours are 10:00 am until 9:00 pm

We ask that you do NOT bring firewood from out of state due to the Emerald Ash borer beetle infecting the local areas.

Pool hours - 11:00 am until dusk
Open Memorial Day Weekend until the weekend after Labor Day. Children under 14 must be with an adult 18 or older. No glass or alcohol in the pool area. NO SMOKING ZONE.
No running or diving. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty.

PLEASE obey the quiet times...10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Children must be at their site and not on the playground during these times

There is a peace when sitting on the creek and watching the ducks or fishing

Before the camping business, John and Judi Durham owned a restaurant; something Judi said helped mold them into great service-oriented people. The camping business is all about people, and John and Judi love the ability to get up each morning and meet others. "We wake up every day and don't know what is going to happen," Judi said. "Every day is different and exciting."
We have brought that same restaurant enthusiasm to the KOA, check out or Remember When Diner with all its memorabilia! As featured in Motorhome Magazine.
John and Judi say campers love the serenity their campground offers. "There is a peace when sitting on the creek and watching the ducks or fishing," added Judi. The repeat business they have collected over the years is a good way of reconnecting with their campers. The family-oriented park is a great getaway in a very scenic area. When a camper drives the curving road to the KOA, they encounter nature at its best. The roads twists alongside the creek and the over-hanging trees provide an unusual, relaxed atmosphere. "We camped with our daughter at this very campground when she was one year old. We bought the campground when she was 5," said Judi recalling their 1988 purchase. The pool, outdoor theater, jump pad, and scheduled activities keep campers busy for as long as they would like to stay. According to Judi, the creek is wide and is a fun place to canoe or fish. "Thirteen sites line the creek and we have many return campers who have their favorite sites out there," added Judi.
We are surrounded by so much history, basically in the Heart of the Civil War Battlefields.  You get a real feeling when you visit Antietam National Battlefield, left to it's preserved natural state.  

In October at the Hagerstown KOA is the house next door to the campground. The home took the name, "The Terror of Creekside Manor" and it is a fun Halloween activity. "We discovered the haunted nature of the house and decided to turn it into an actual haunted house," said Judi. "It is open for five full weeks in October and is open to campers and the public. We love it."
