There is a peace when sitting on the creek and watching the ducks or fishing
Before the camping business, John and Judi Durham owned a restaurant; something Judi said helped mold them into great service-oriented people. The camping business is all about people, and John and Judi love the ability to get up each morning and meet others. "We wake up every day and don't know what is going to happen," Judi said. "Every day is different and exciting."In October at the Hagerstown KOA is the house next door to the campground. The home took the name, "The Terror of Creekside Manor" and it is a fun Halloween activity. "We discovered the haunted nature of the house and decided to turn it into an actual haunted house," said Judi. "It is open for five full weeks in October and is open to campers and the public. We love it."
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
