Dewayne and Nikki Berger

Connecting people to the outdoors and each other.

Dewayne and Nikki Berger

Welcome to the Hattiesburg-Okatoma River KOA! We're Dewayne and Nikki Berger, lifelong campers and outdoor enthusiasts originally from South Florida. In 2020, we embraced a new adventure, leaving behind successful careers and beloved friends and family to become campground owners here in the charming town of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Dewayne's background as a grocery store manager and Nikki's years as a high school history teacher have shaped our approach to creating a friendly, service-oriented atmosphere where everyone feels at home. With seven children and one grandson, family is at the heart of everything we do. Over these past four years, our KOA has become more than just a campground—it's a place for family gatherings, new friendships, and where cherished memories are made. Our guests and team members have become an extension of our own family, and we're grateful for the connections we've built along the way.Thank you for being part of our journey and helping make the Hattiesburg-Okatoma River KOA such a warm and welcoming destination. Here's to many more years of adventure, connection, and unforgettable moments!
