Really loved this KOA. The pull through spots had lots of room and loved the walk around the “loop” along the out going road and back in the incoming road.

We stayed 31 days. It was our third visit to this KOA. Very friendly staff. Dewayne was always out improving the grounds. We saw several improvements completed during our stay.

Was the most beautiful little cabin I could ever have imagined! It was so cute and cozy and when we out the door there was a lake right in front of us... it was just an absolutely beautiful weekend. There were wonderful people working there that you could tell really cared about us guests as much as they cared about their beautiful facility. I can't wait to do it again!!!!!

The campground is very nice but the sites are way too close together and need shade. It’s hard to enjoy camping when you are literally on top of other people. Also, the long term campers with fully decorated sites, complete with furniture gives it more of a trailer park feel than a campground.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your site and would have accommodated a request for a shaded site for your pop-up and screen room. All campsites can accommodate a camper and vehicle but are not intended to have extra structures and multiple vehicles.

This is the best campground we've EVER stayed at. The owners Nikki and Daryl are amazing! Barry was such a pleasure at check-in. Our escort, Crystal made sure we got to where we needed to go and even delivered us firewood! They have the cleanest bathhouse and laundry I have ever been in! Tammy, the housekeeper really takes pride in her work keeping things clean. Definitely reccomend!

What a beautiful drive in and beautiful campground! We have a large 44 foot 5th wheel toy hauler and had no problem at all on the roads outside or inside the campground. They roads and sites were all well maintained. They have ducks, but not too many to be a nuisance. It was nice to sit out with my cup of coffee and watch them swimming on the lake and foraging for food in their natural habitat.

It was a wonderful stay. The sites were clean and large. The staff was so friendly and courteous. The campground was beautiful. We backed up to a large pond where we put our chairs and sat around our own firepit. There was plenty of spaces for the dogs and we could take them on long walks. We Loved it there and would recommend it and stay there again if in the area.

Phone call to make the reservation was super easy, text with directions was perfect. The office staff was awesome and super friendly. The campground was very well kept, clean and very quiet. The only one thing that could maybe be looked at was the water pressure was very very weak otherwise was an awesome stay!!

Great Campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful, spaces were good size and excellent shape and the grounds with the ponds was a nice touch. The only downside was all the ducks begging and there waste. We will be back again

Not the easiest place to find but the signs are great and entertaining but the road in is VERY narrow, good thing it's one way. The camp is quiet and well lighted at night. I feel the "store" could use some help compared to must other KOA's.

Very helpful people and beautiful sites. Conveniently located to the Longleaf Trace Trail for bicycling. I would have given top ratings except for the WiFi which was so slow that my wife and I abandoned it and went back to cell service. Even a simple news story took forever to load. I think KOA can do better than this without asking for an additional fee to get better service.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the wifi is not a KOA issue but a MS issue as rural areas do not have access to cable or fiber optics. We do have LTE wifi but it does share bandwidth which slows down during busier periods. The provider does offer additional bandwidth for a nominal fee.

We’ve enjoyed being here. It was upsetting being told our stay was over 5 days before it was supposed to end. We’re very glad you were able to find us a temporary site while we wait for another long term. We appreciate the staff being kind and friendly. Had an amazing experience at the campground! The staff and everyone there were all very kind and helpful with anything I needed. They have great ponds for fishing, as well as very clean showers and bathrooms. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Stayed here for a few days on a road trip, the cabin was pretty nice, campground was clean and quiet. Owners were friendly and welcoming.

Spent Christmas week at Okatoma River KOA. The campground was great, clean and Marty and his crew were friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend staying there to anyone heading to that area. Just easy to get to Laurel and New Orleans from that spot.
