The Helena North KOA is located at Exit 200 of I-15 in Helena, the State Capital of Montana.
For those traveling South on I-15, take Exit 200 and turn right at the top of the off ramp. The campground will be 1/4 mile on your right.
If you are traveling North on I-15, take Exit 200 and turn left at the top of the ramp. The campground will be 1/4 mile on your right.
Camping season is here, and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests from all over to Helena North KOA for another unforgettable Montana summer! Whether you’re traveling through Big Sky Country, planning a weekend getaway, or staying awhile to explore the Helena area, there’s plenty to look forward to this season at the campground.
This year, we’ve been hard at work making improvements throughout the property to enhance the guest experience. From ongoing campground upgrades to renovations in our camp store and accommodations, our goal is to make your stay more comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable than ever before.
Our unique silo accommodations are also receiving upgrades, including improved temperature control and comfort features designed to help make them an enjoyable stay option throughout more of the year.
Guests will soon notice exciting changes in our camp store! We’re bringing in new merchandise, camping essentials, RV supplies, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and convenience items to better serve campers during their stay. Be sure to stop in and see what’s new while visiting the campground.
One of the things we’re most excited about this season is the addition of local food trucks and vendors throughout the summer. Guests may see taco trucks, coffee vendors, snow cone stands, and other local favorites visiting the campground during select weekends and events.
We love supporting local businesses while giving campers fun and convenient food options right here at the park.
Keeping the campground green and inviting is a top priority for us. Our sprinkler systems run nightly on rotating schedules between midnight and 5:00 AM to help maintain the lush grass throughout the park. We appreciate our guests’ understanding as we work hard to keep the grounds looking beautiful all season long.
Helena North KOA is perfectly located for exploring everything the area has to offer. Guests can enjoy nearby hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, local restaurants, historic downtown Helena, Gates of the Mountains, and the incredible scenery Montana is known for.
Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or simply passing through, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
