General Campground Information

Helena North KOA - Information

Store and Office hours: 9 am to 5 pm. The hours will change with the seasons since we are open year-round.
Laundry room is open 24/7 - 365. Includes a coin machine or they will be available during office hours.
Check out is at 11:00 pm.
Check-in is at 1:00 pm. If you need to check in early, please call the office (406-458-3725) to make arrangements. 
Open wood fire pits are prohibited in the park. If you would like a fire pit, we do rent propane pits - $10.00 per night, includes propane. 
Quiet hours will vary because we are open year-round. During summer (June 1 to September 15), quiet hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The rest of the year, they are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

We do not burn firewood at this camp ground, however gas fire pits and charcoal grills are welcome.

Helena North KOA general information page

Store hours from May 15 to Sept 15 will be 9 am to 7 pm. During the winter, the store hours are 9 am to 5 pm, every day of the week. 
Check-in time is 1 pm, and check-out is at 11 am.
We DO NOT ALLOW open wood fires in the park. You can use your own propane fire pit or we will be glad to rent you one for $10.00 per night. When you arrive, simply ask, and we will arrange for a fire pit to be delivered, complete with a propane tank.
All visitors MUST check in with the office when they arrive in the park. 
Quiet hours during the summer are 11 pm to 7 am. During the winter, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. 
We do not have a pool on site.

Winter happenings

The water to the park will be turned off for sites 38 thru 54 on October 15th until approximately April 15th for the winter season. Sites 55 thru 64 will be closed for the winter season on October 15th as well.  Sites 23 thru 37 will remain open with full hook-up capabilities and both bath houses will remain open through out the winter season.

Camp Store Renovations

Exciting things are happening at Helena North KOA!We are currently making improvements and renovations to our camp store to better serve our guests and create an even more enjoyable camping experience. Along with the updates, we'll soon be bringing in new merchandise, camping essentials, snacks, souvenirs, RV supplies, and more!Be sure to stop in during your stay to check out what's new. Upgrades Coming

We're excited for the upcoming summer camping season at Helena North KOA!This summer, we'll be welcoming a variety of local food trucks and vendors to the campground to help make your stay even more enjoyable. Guests can look forward to convenient food options, fresh local coffee, possible snow cone vendors for those warm Montana afternoons, and other fun local favorites throughout the season.We're always working to create a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly camping experience, and we can't wait to bring more local flavor and community involvement to the campground.Be sure to stop by, check out the vendors, and enjoy everything the summer season has to offer!

Silo Project

Exciting improvements are continuing at Helena North KOA!We are currently working on upgrades to our silo accommodations to make them more comfortable and enjoyable throughout the entire year. Planned improvements include temperature control upgrades, enhanced insulation, and additional comfort features designed to provide a better guest experience during both the warm summer months and cooler Montana seasons.Our goal is to create a unique stay experience that combines the charm of our silo lodging with the comfort and convenience our guests expect.
