Just a quick overnight but the deluxe cabin was clean and beautiful. I'd stay there over a hotel (and that's saying a lot because I work at a hotel!). My daughter enjoyed the mini golf and playground. The highway noise was kind of loud but we couldn't hear it inside the cabin. Heat worked great. Be sure to bring towels, soap, and any dishes that you need. There was a microwave and grill.

Todd and his wife were friendly and helpful, even bringing us firewood for the included fire pit and recommending a fun bowling alley with great food. This KOA is very well maintained with level easy to get our 40'er in and out of sites that included BBQ grills! The dog park and mini-golf were perfect! The bathhouse was clean, well stocked and warm. HIGHLY recommend staying here!!!

It was the off season, and there were only a few people in the campground. It was very clean, and they accommodated us very well. Clean bathroom and shower facilities, even in the off season with so few people there. Outstanding!

Found this KOA last minute while traveling through SD. Getting there and checking in were super easy. Todd left us a map, park pamphlet, and his phone number for our late check in. Park is well maintained and roads are clearly labeled. We called Todd to see if he had any suggestions on where to get firewood in the off-season and he brought some to our campsite! Had a great stay, will be back!

Super helpful owners who weren’t technically open for winter but the website allowed me to book. I felt bad being the only campers that they went above and beyond opening a cabin for the bathroom facility access. It was much appreciated. Great time, quiet and a perfect stop off on out cross country trip

Not only did I get a call back before the campground was officially closed for the night, but Suzanne and her husband made sure I was able to settle in comfortably once I got there. Because it was winter, they offered me the use of one of their cabins for bathroom and shower. Super sweet couple. If I had kids, I'd send them there. They'd be in good hands.

Very nice campground. Was not busy since I was here in November. Tom is very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were super clean and cabin was very nice and clean. Definitely enjoyed my stay. Not far from mount Rushmore or any other things you may want to see.

Staff was incredible and campsites were clean and well kept. Dog friendly which we love. Only downside was the RV spots themselves were very close together. Usually not a problem however we had a neighbor who's dog had Parvo. This made us pretty uncomfortable since he was so close and we have dogs. He seemed like a guy down on his luck who drank to excess every night. Not KOA's fault

It was so peaceful and Todd and his wife were so helpful with some problems we were having. I highly recommend this place. There is a flock of turkeys in the campground that are fun to watch.

The camp hosts, owners, were very friendly and even though some of our party arrived late in the night, we all felt welcomed and it was easy to find our spots. We stayed in one of the camping cabins, I had two toddlers with me (in early October) and we all stayed very warm. The cabins were cleaner than expected and it had all the necessities (broom, fly swatter, trash can). Very pleased!

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. I stayed off season, at the end of October, I found the campground tidy and well-maintained. There is a lot to do in the area. Would highly recommend staying here, if you are in the area.

Todd & Suzanne are THE BEST campground hosts! Without exception!!! They took a personal interest in ensuring every aspect of our stay was top notch. We extended our one-week stay by three days, then again for three more days. We definitely will stay at Hot Springs KOA again, when our travels take us to the Black Hills.

The hosts were great. Every morning we stopped in to say good morning, and they gave us great ideas on things to do in the area, how to get around road closures and find things off the beaten path. They were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay, Susan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed chatting with her. The campground was clean, quiet at night and would recommend this KOA to everyone.

Suzanne was instrumental in making the last leg of a long trip wonderful. She gave us a recommendation for a breakfast place where I had the best breakfast burrito of my life. She mapped out a nice driving route were we saw a beautiful forest and 8 herds of bison. The road ended at Sylvan Lake where we did a gorgeous 1 mile hike around it. Perfect day. Perfect end to a perfect trip. Thank you.

We were personally escorted to our site to make sure it was satisfactory and if we needed assistance getting settled in. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and maintained. The staff were courteous, friendly and informative. We enjoyed our stay at this KOA.

Suzzane and Todd are wonderful people, the staff they have on place are very helpful and friendly. They try their best to accommodate you. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very accommodating. Requested a spot with no trees and it was perfect! Pretty campground and they had propane and good customer service.

We stayed here back in August for a week while we explored Badlands, Custer, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hot Springs and much more. The park is clean with lots of amenities. Pool is heated. Staff is friendly. We had an incident with an unruly neighbor and the owner handled the situation perfectly! We work remotely and had no issues with wifi.
