We stayed in a Deluce cabin, and it was perfect in every word. The Hosts of the KOA were very help full. Would definately stay here again.

I have stayed at the Hot Springs, SD KOA several times and will go back many more times, I love it. beautiful campground every thing is kept in great condition, restrooms and showers are spotless. great location with soo many things to do and see. Todd and Suzanne are the most amazeing hosts I have ever met in all of my camping experience! The staff there is incredible!

Absolutely Amazing! Even after the big rain - excellent place to stay. Other customers kept changing their spots because they didn't want their kids to get dirty. The owners and staff bent over backwards to accommodate them - and they did. Shower pressure and ample hot water, the whole place was fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Thanks all the staff. OH AND THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING!! �

Very nice clean campground and friendly hosts, we had a pleasant stay and absolutely loved South Dakota! I only have one minor complaint. We had just come from staying at another KAO in a identical cabin, the mattress in this cabin was like sleeping on plywood compared to the first cabin we stayed in. It is pretty close to needing to be replaced in my opinion.

Site assigned was a very small section of a corner.. terrible... felt like I was inside next trailers unit. Was there for 6 nights too. Nothing was open except store. Restrooms and showers were filthy each time I visited. Never will stop here again. Preparation for Memorial Day weekend appeared more important than current visitors experience!!

Thank you for staying with us. I think you might be reviewing a different campground. According to our records, you stayed here just two nights in a site in a middle of a row. Our bathrooms are cleaned regularly and checked frequently.

Todd and Suzanne were so welcoming, friendly, informative, helpful and all around great hosts. We had our first patio site. Todd escorted us to the site, help guide us in, tell us about the site and even brought us firewood. This is a beautiful KOA. Huge Ponderosa Pines,, large sites, beautiful patio’s. Very clean. I would definitely come here again and recommend this KOA to anyone.

Todd & Suzanne and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Very accommodating! Campground is always clean, their little store have last minute forgotten items. Love staying here all the time.

We enjoyed our short time (4 nights) there. We had a nice site but pretty much used the campground for sleeping as we were constantly on the go seeing the area. Bathrooms were very clean and the work Kampers kept the place well groomed. Reception on arrival was wonderful as well as our escort to our site. If we are in area again will stay there.

It was uneventful. We arrived quite late but a map and directions to the campsite was waiting for us. The amenities seemed ok, but we literally set up, slept, and departed first thing so we didn’t get much evaluation time. It was clean and well ordered and the staff were kind and helpful. We were pleased and thankful.

We stayed at 3 sites in South Dakota and when we left Hot Springs for our second location we were beyond upset, Hot Springs was SOOO MUCH BETTER! The views, the staff OMG no complaints here, one of our fave KOAs so far and our top choice for all our SD stays. Will 100% be returning!

The facility was great! We were able to park among the pines, set up our camping chairs and kick back and relax. It was, however, the staff that really made this an enjoyable stay. From the office personnel to the gentleman who escorted us to our site and others who greeted us around the park...all were the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism.

Enjoyed the early season camping. Staff was very friendly and stayed in contact with us during our visit about water and facilities being turned off or on due to freezing temperatures. We will be staying at this KOA on our next trip to the Black Hills.

The Hot Springs SD/Black Hills KOA was the perfect spot for our one night in Hot Springs. We stayed in a cabin with our two boys. Upon our late arrival we found the porch light was left on for us. The cabin was well maintained, very clean and well appointed. The bathhouse was a short walk away and were also impressively clean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this spot!

All staff were great, A+. However due to a mouse in cabin, my favorite coleman bag cooler has been chewed through, got into trail mix, threw out alot of food, I cleaned with Clorox wipes. Saw the mouse run from under the refrigerator into bathroom. A trap was placed in cabin, didn't catch it, had hard time sleeping. Dirty outside frig and under, mouse droppings. I Would like a full refund.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. Your comments were surprising given that you told us not to worry about the mouse and simply provide a trap. Had we known you were so upset, we could have offered you a different cabin or refund on unused nights if you decided to leave early.

Great campground, love the family bathrooms provided in the deluxe cabins during the colder months. Make sure you stop in the office for all the information you need about the area. Very helpful!

Host were extremely accommodating. Beautiful KOA, quaint little town. I would recommend a stay here. Great place.

We stayed here back in August for a week while we explored Badlands, Custer, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hot Springs and much more. The park is clean with lots of amenities. Pool is heated. Staff is friendly. We had an incident with an unruly neighbor and the owner handled the situation perfectly! We work remotely and had no issues with wifi. Todd and his wife are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, easy excess to camping spots and quiet.
