This was my first-ever stay in a KOA, which followed a night at an I-90 truck stop to avoid a storm. This location and the staff there were literally a breath of fresh air. Suzanne and Todd are professional and hard working, hospitable and friendly and the facilities are well maintained and comfortable, and with excellent food. Thanks to all! Definitely recommend to all.

Friendly staff, cabin and other buildings were always very clean. Hot breakfast was great! We loved it there and will definitely be back.

Limited seating near the fire pit. Very low water pressure in cabin shower. Otherwise okay. Cabin was clean.

KOA's are the best and this location is no exception. It is excellent and very well taken care of and very helpful workers. Only complaint is wish the camping cabin beds were more comfortable, but very happy they have them.

This place is superbly kept all the employees are kind and helpfull in any way possible the breakfast in the mornin is amazing anyone who is coming thru the area shouldent hesitate to stay the night. I stayed all week

It was chilly when we got there but the camping cabin had a heater so it was ok. We brought bedding with us but the bed was still not very comfortable. Only about a 2-3" mattress on a wood board. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean.

We stayed in a Deluce cabin, and it was perfect in every word. The Hosts of the KOA were very help full. Would definately stay here again.

I have stayed at the Hot Springs, SD KOA several times and will go back many more times, I love it. beautiful campground every thing is kept in great condition, restrooms and showers are spotless. great location with soo many things to do and see. Todd and Suzanne are the most amazeing hosts I have ever met in all of my camping experience! The staff there is incredible!

Very nice clean campground and friendly hosts, we had a pleasant stay and absolutely loved South Dakota! I only have one minor complaint. We had just come from staying at another KAO in a identical cabin, the mattress in this cabin was like sleeping on plywood compared to the first cabin we stayed in. It is pretty close to needing to be replaced in my opinion.

Kamping Kabin was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were well kept and provided plenty of hot water.

The Hot Springs SD/Black Hills KOA was the perfect spot for our one night in Hot Springs. We stayed in a cabin with our two boys. Upon our late arrival we found the porch light was left on for us. The cabin was well maintained, very clean and well appointed. The bathhouse was a short walk away and were also impressively clean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this spot!

All staff were great, A+. However due to a mouse in cabin, my favorite coleman bag cooler has been chewed through, got into trail mix, threw out alot of food, I cleaned with Clorox wipes. Saw the mouse run from under the refrigerator into bathroom. A trap was placed in cabin, didn't catch it, had hard time sleeping. Dirty outside frig and under, mouse droppings. I Would like a full refund.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. Your comments were surprising given that you told us not to worry about the mouse and simply provide a trap. Had we known you were so upset, we could have offered you a different cabin or refund on unused nights if you decided to leave early.

My family stayed in a camper cabin.The quality, overall, was exceptional, clean, the campground was quiet, well maintained, and very conveniently located.The staff were outstanding! After I made the reservation (closer to the stay date) I received two introductory phone calls, given cell phone numbers to contact staff-which responded quickly.Alternate bath/shower options were given due to COVID.

Still early into season yet so many of the amenities were not operational at the time of our stay with that being said efforts were made to provide for the use of indoor washing and cleaning along with the purchase of firewood The kampground was well maintained and kamping kabins were very nice. Staff and owners of this KOA were very gracious hosts and very friendly. I would highly recommend.

The cabin was clean but the highway noise was loud. The shop waa closed and lots of foot traffic the manager was nice.

We get to the site about 5pm and the office is closed. One man who worked the camp was driving around in the KOA vehicle and barely said 2 words to us. We had to call in. We go to the bathroom and it says they are closed. We have to share a toilet from one of the cabins with all the other guests at the campsite. Super inconvenient. Is this what camping is like in this covid era?

We're sorry that you had such a disappointing stay at the campground. The facilities are indeed limited until mid April when freezing night time temperatures pass and the store, office, and main building open for the summer.

The camp owners, Todd and Suzanne, run a great campsite. The store is clean and well stocked, they make pizza to order with their cool countertop pizza makers! The restrooms were large and clean, everything in great condition. The campsite is conveniently located, close by Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park. We will certainly be going back, I love that place!

Awesome even during the pandemic! Enjoyed the Deluxe Cabin. Camping there in the Fall was much quieter than a Summer time visit. Great and caring owners!

We had a great stay. Late in the season but things were lovely--beautiful up there. Hosts were helpful when we had a heater issue, bathrooms were clean and felt socially distanced. We had a great time and memorable trip.

Had a great stay in one of the cabins! The restrooms were clean, location of the facility was convenient, the pizza was tasty, and a gas station close by for supplies. I'd come here every year for some motorbike riding if it weren't 1300 miles from home!

We were very happy with the cabin. Cable worked fine. Missing remote response was very timely. Clean restrooms/showers. It is a very nice KOA.

We stayed here back in August for a week while we explored Badlands, Custer, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hot Springs and much more. The park is clean with lots of amenities. Pool is heated. Staff is friendly. We had an incident with an unruly neighbor and the owner handled the situation perfectly! We work remotely and had no issues with wifi.
