OUR STAY WAS VERY PLESANT. the LADY THAT CHECKED US IN COME TO OUR UNIT SO AS TO LET US SEE HER DOG. EVERYONE WE TALKED TO WAS VERY FRENDLY.

Traveling with friends, they managed to park us close together even though we had two different types of campers. A little rain would probably do the place wonders. The lady at the desk can write better upside down than I can right side up! Campground had enough room you can get around easily with the camper, ours is 43 ft long, so that was nice.

These people went out of they way to find a site for us. Due to special reasons we didn’t need the site assigned to us and they were more than happy to find us something that worked. Thanks again we appreciate it

We enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with a caretaker's dog running loose while taking our dogs on a walk after dark. One suggestion is lights for the dog park. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would visit again.

My biggest concern about the KOAs I've stayed in this year is the deterioration of the parks due to long term tennants. They are in a section that appear very cluttered, dirty and not maintained by the park management. I'm starting to look for and stay in privately owned RV parks. The park managers need some motivation. Seriously.

The Joplin KOA is in a convenient location near Interstate 44 and trees are plentiful in this park which we easily maneuvered in, with our Class A & toad. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this KOA because of negative interactions with staff who were glum, and not welcoming to us, or others. There is a small dog park which is a plus, but watch out for the speeding staff golf carts!

Online reservation site stated only 1 site left so I grabbed it. When we arrived the park was wide open with many, many sites available. Lesson learned: if online states nothing available or just a site or two, call the park. Nice long sites; didn’t need to unhook (were 60’ overall). Quiet. Satellite friendly.

Check-in staff were filthy dirty. Nice pond except trash in the water, mostly plastic bags. You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression. Nice overall grounds.

A great campground and owners are on site daily, very nice people. Campground is clean, large and easily accessible. No crowding and quiet. We stay there often as we have grandchildren there in college. Some great walking trails nearby along the river, just about 5 minutes away.

This was our 4th stay and will not be our last. Long pull through sites - easy to level. Well kept. Far enough from the highway so not real noisy.

The cabin was a dump. Floors are soft, wall paper peeling, bathroom floor was nasty. Even dents in the wall. I've stayed at other cabins at KOAs and they were not like this. I would really like a refund to be totally honest.

We are not likely to return to this KOA. It is right off the highway and very loud at night. There are lots of transient people living there, which is fine, but they should have their own section. The person next to us left their dog in their camper all day to bark it's head off. TV and Internet were almost non existent. On the positive side, there were lots of mature trees.

Joplin KOA was my first stay in a KOA and my first night in my new RV. We arrived after the office closed so we didn’t meet anyone personally but had had a lovel6 phone conversation and felt well taken care of. It was a nice place, we L kept and quiet! I would definitely go back!

Our rig broke down while there and the staff was totally understanding and helpful...even gave us a ride to town to get a rental car! Would not hesitate to stay here anytime! Thanks!

The reservation and office staff were friendly and helpful! The was nice. We were disappointed a patio site was not available. Suggest installing more of those.

The girl at the front desk that checked us in is the best in the business. This is a very nice Campground very well designed and very well maintained!

As fate would have it, I suffered a heart attack while staying at the Joplin KOA. The staff were all very accommodating and worked with my wife to extend our stay for as long as was necessary.

We have stayed here twice on our way home. It is a very nice koa We got here checked in we led to our spot got set up and did our laundry. The employees were all very nice very understanding and very helpful we look forward to staying here again Thank you

Staff is great, they never stop. RV sites are level, clean. Nice hookup area. Tent area is under the trees. Laundry room and equipment is very nice as well.

Not even out of the car yet and the unfriendly guy that meets us to guide us to our site tells us we can't camp at the site we have booked again because we are tandem, although the website let us book the site and asked what equipment we had. No dump station if you just get a site with electric and water. Bathrooms were clean but needed updating.

Cabin was very dirty and had not been cleaned at all, which surprised me due to Covid guidelines. Dirt and hair and debris on mattresses that I had to sweep off with a very old broom. Small refrigerator was turned off and when the maintenance gentleman turned it on, he did not look carefully inside to find out that there was water every where inside due to defrosting. Water all over floor :(

Efficient clerk was efficient and excellent in providing directions for nearby restaurants. Bathrooms, toilets and sinks especially, were very clean. Nice shade and grass in tent area. Close to interstate so traffic noise is audible.

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
