We called for a cabin since we were towing a trailer, they said they had plenty of cabins, so we booked one. Got there only to be told the cabin is not close to a bathroom and does not have any sheets/blankets, or pillows. Then she tells me the bathroom does not have any hot water to take a shower. At that time of night too late to find other lodging. Why would you not be up front when reserved?

Don't stay in cabins in cold weather. The space heaters weren't adequate. As usual, everything was clean and satisfactory except for antique heaters.

It was nice and what I expected. However the price seemed a little high. We stayed the night before at the Historic Route 66 location in St. Louis and for the same exact lodging the price was $40. Plus the bathroom was closer but that really wasn't a big deal.

We stayed overnight in a Deluxe Cabin. I had to clean all surfaces before use, repair the doorknob & hang tarps @ windows. The bedroom & front door had mini-blinds, but the main room is open to view. A couple of narrow, curled strips of cotton fabric hung from most windows, except the kitchen, which had none. Curtains are inadequate & do not provide privacy. Nonfunctional socket.by door. Improve!

Second time we have stayed here and I have recommend this place multiple times already. It will be a regular stop on our road trips from Illinois to Texas.

It is a really nice campground, but the cabin that we stayed in was pretty run down. Also I would not recommend it to anyone that has back trouble. It had what I thought was a reclaimed prison mattress. So I would recommend staying there but do not stay in the cabins. At least the one that looks like a trailer house.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The cabin description for beds did not meet the arrangement in the cabin. We were one adult with 2 elementary age kids and needed 3 separate beds. The description states the room has 2 single bunks; it was one full bed… it complicated our sleeping arrangements as we had to share a bed between non-family members.

I stayed at two koa camp grounds on vacation and was impressed with them the third one was in Joplin I asked for a deluxe cabin. We got a trailer. It did not look clean the refrigerator looked bad stain and spots on the outside kitchen sink was all stained up. The toilet did not work well. The lady that too us to the trailer was nice. The trailer needs an update.

The cabin had ants and no screen door. I ended up with mosquito bites everywhere. The ants were everywhere even with no food in the cabin. I had several ants crawling on me throughout the stay. The scenery was beautiful, but the cabin could benefit from an attempt to keep bugs out. The check in was confusing. They changed my cabin three times for some unknown reason and gave me the wrong door code

The person at the office wa very helpful - the cabin was nice - I especially was appreciative of the full size frig and freezer! I was very disappointed that the pool was not open - there should have been a large discount for this - and I was so surprised that the office closed so early - I thought that all koa offices were open later than 5 pm! On the the positive side, the cabin was very clean

Old restrooms that need to be updated. Only one restroom/bath house that is not close to cabins. Need another bath house. Better lighting in the campground is needed. Very friendly hosts but over priced for old facilities.

Booked a cabin for a sleepover on a road trip, got in late and left early. Parking next to the cabin was nice. Having a fridge and microwave was a nice surprise although we didn't use it. I think the pet cleaning fee is a bit much since my dog doesn't shed and we left no sign of even having a dog with us for the short time we were there. I'd stay again.

The cabin was a dump. Floors are soft, wall paper peeling, bathroom floor was nasty. Even dents in the wall. I've stayed at other cabins at KOAs and they were not like this. I would really like a refund to be totally honest.

Cabin was very dirty and had not been cleaned at all, which surprised me due to Covid guidelines. Dirt and hair and debris on mattresses that I had to sweep off with a very old broom. Small refrigerator was turned off and when the maintenance gentleman turned it on, he did not look carefully inside to find out that there was water every where inside due to defrosting. Water all over floor :(

The people working there were very nice, but my camping cabin was in bad repair. It smelled like cigarette smoke, there were water stains on the walls, and there was a container of Damp Rid moisture absorber on top of the refrigerator. This was a "deluxe" camping cabin, and it felt gross. I would expect nicer lodging from the KOA brand.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the ducks, too. The staff was very nice and helpful. We did miss the fire ring, though.

Stayed one night. 2 adults 2 children under 6. The kids had a great time enjoying feeding fish and ducks. I was surprised how quiet it was being right off the highway. The cabin was clean. Had a nice stay!

These fine people took care of us when a bad storm rolled in. They put us in a Kabin at no extra charge and allowed us to store our wet tent and other gear in their pavilion. They truly care about their customers, I can't recommend them highly enough. Well done!

The family that owns it is very nice. My son enjoyed the pool and playground. There were bikes you could rent that we did not get around to but would love to rent next time. Enjoyed it immensely!

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
