We’re following Route 66 and this was a nice stop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loved the fish, turtle and duck ponds. Feeding them was fun too. Clean and quiet park, even with the freeway and truck stop nearby. 10am check out is a bit early

This was a very nice park. It was very hot the day we arrived and there were plenty of sites with trees which was great. It was nice and clean. Great location

We stayed for 3 days. Clean. Real nice. Friendly. The sites available in Oak trees the best. Quiet campground. Within less than a mile are 3 major truck stops, fast food, dollar general, liquor stores.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and kind. They seemed to over backwards to help you out. Price and location were very good.

Got in late due to trailer flat tire earlier that day. Arrived and our reservation envelope was waiting, found our site and was able to quickly set up and got some well earned rest!

Joplin KOA has been one our favorites in the past, this August we stayed 2 separate nights, the staff was very unfriendly, the grounds were unkept, no weed whacking was done, the hook up area was dirty, could have been cleaned. So disappointed!

Even though it is the pet owners responsibility to clean up after their pets, at some point the park has to take action. The K-9 park was full of dog droppings and unusable.

Would like to have seen green grass area….our area was pretty brown & dry where the other side of the park was greener. Overall, nice place & friendly people.

I stay at this KOA every few months. It is always clean and quiet. The Staff is always helpful. It is always a good experience.

this was a one night stay for us on our way home. The sites were gravel and grass but well kept and large. The staff showed us to our site.

Adequate for a brief stay. There is no swimming pool. Other facilities are fine. The park has plenty of trees and is well maintained.

Received a stern lecture at check in about keeping my dog out of other peoples sites. I stayed overnight and had to step over piles of dog waste the next morning in order to disconnect my cords and hoses. Apparently the long term guest next door didn’t get the same lecture that I did. I’ll never stay there again.

We got in late, they made it extremely easy to get our paperwork and find our site. We left fairly early in the morning. It was a beautiful tree shaded campground, very clean. It was a very pleasant stop over.

The grass at the sites is overgrown, as is the landscaping in general. It seems run down over all, relative to other KOA's and definitely overpriced. I would not choose this location as a base to see Joplin and will look for a different stop over spot my next time through.

Best stay we have had at this location. This is on our route to see family in Indiana; we usually get assigned the sites on the road, it was nice to have one on the less travel roads.

Second time I have stayed there. The only complaint I have is the adds showed cable tv and when I got there the host told me what channels I would get then took me to my spot. I could not find the tv hook up so next time I was by the office I asked where it was and the answer was - oh the spot we gave u does not have cable

The staff seemed to be unfriendly and “bothered” when asked a question. The grounds and property just looked unloved or cared for. The grass was mostly dead looking, the swimming pool was not repaired. Almost no spaces were being used. For in and out overnite this is okay but it is not the normal KOA that we expect to see.

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
