The staff were very friendly and helpful! The cabin description for beds did not meet the arrangement in the cabin. We were one adult with 2 elementary age kids and needed 3 separate beds. The description states the room has 2 single bunks; it was one full bed… it complicated our sleeping arrangements as we had to share a bed between non-family members.

Good place to stop along the way. Nice clean restrooms/showers. Bonus lounge area to sit and relax, cook, watch TV. Very close to walking distance fast food. Pull through spaces, sporadic shade. Close to the highway for easy on/off access but not close enough to hear it. Gas station and convenience store at the same exit.

This Journey is very close a business area, however, very private and quiet. It is clean, nice sites, and it has large trees providing shade in most areas which was a nice welcome. Helpful and friendly staff!

We did a quick one night stop in our travel trailer. The site was easy to get into and level. Checkin was quick and friendly. Definitely a good stop.

Called ahead for spot. There was plenty of spots available on a Thursday. Kinda green and well kept.

Very clean, nice campground. Just wish there was more shade but I realize this is a journey. Great overnight stop and bathrooms were clean. Would be good for an extended stay as well.

Great campground, friendly staff, plenty of hot water at the showers and very clean. Shore power showed an open neutral fault on both my power protection plugs and the man sent out to repair it changed the panel and showed me there was power there but blew off the fact that somewhere in that circuit there is a fault that needs correcting. In all, still a great park.

Pool was not open, it was August!! Have a feeling it hasn’t been opened at all this year. Park was ok but nothing that would cause us to come back. Utilities all worked, but wifi was a waste. If you’re going to offer wifi you had better make sure it’s capable of the service needed. Front desk at check in wasn’t friendly, acted like it was bothering her to check us in. Would not come a

Disappointing- the pool was not opened and although we could have had a campsite without cable, we selected a cable site because we wanted to watch the Olympics. NBC (the Olympic station) did not work. When I asked at the office, they acted like it was temporary, it could come back on at any time. I wasn't sure they believed it. When we left the next morning, it was still not working.

We really liked our stay at this Joplin KOA. We arrived slightly after hours and were still greeted and escorted to our campsite site. When we called in to make reservations we were given the choice of staying in a shaded area or with no trees. The grounds were well kept and clean. We will be back! Thank you to the owners for keeping camping fun!

One nite layover. Host was very nice and guided me to my spot. A little far from restrooms but very nice park so didn’t mind the walk . Its just me and my dog and we bothered no one and no one bothered us. One hundred eighty three characters left and not that much to say. Very quite park and got what I needed, a good nites rest. Maybe to many characters required for this stay.

Had a pull thru full hookup site. Did not like the setup as the next site setup made for their sewage setup to be right near our sitting area. When setting up our RV, the folks next door were earing dinner and mentioned the same concern. People in the office were friendly but staff coming around site in golf carts not friendly at all.

swimming pool was closed, which was disappointing. convenient if traveling through Joplin, MO

The overall condition of this park is below average. The grounds are mowed but weedy and not well maintained. Our patio site was very dirty as was the furniture. The pool was closed with no indication of a future opening. Staff was not rude but not friendly either. There is nothing for kids. Store and laundry are fine and it’s an ok stay if you don’t have kids or do t plan to stay on-site m

I just stayed overnight. But check-in was smooth as I've come to expect from KOA. Lot, unfortunately, was full sun. But was level and all connections were convenient. I would stay again.

Great camp ground close to everything you could imagine. Parts for your rig, food, beer, liquor, cigars, fireworks, fuel. Downtown easy to get to. Opposite direction toward Oklahoma is a nice casino called downstream if I remember right. Lots of great places to see and visit. I had o issues. Did a 3 Mile walk down an access road which was nice. I recommend it highly. Will be back.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the spaces between campers and the settings were ideal. Will be on my list of favorites to return to in the future.

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
