A pleasant oasis in the city, ample green space & grass, lovely fish pond, attentive staff who gladly assisted w/electric hookup. Dropped one star due to no handicap equipped shower (or so the front desk said). Also the double office entrance doors too heavy/difficult to enter/exit. Maybe curbside registration option for preregistered patrons? Thank you for a safe, shady campsite.

Easy reservations. Easy park to get into and out of. We liked it enough we stayed again the next week on our return trip. The office takes you to your assigned site. Do recommend.

Easy on/easy off the highway. Easy on/easy off for a short stay. We stayed in a pull-through with full hook-ups. The free internet was great -we could actually stream. Would highly recomment.

We have stayed there numerous times, this last stay we had some concerns as there was a run down travel trailer on our assigned site.The office didn’t appear to know this when we brought up it to their attention. They did furnish us another site next to the first site but we were not comfortable at the travel trailer had boards, storm door and other items laying around looking very suspicious.

we were at the campground for 10 days. The location is near a truck stop that has trucks coming and going and even idling during the night time hours.

staff was good. grass needed to be mowed. sewer connections were just covered with a piece of metal allowing sewer odor to escape. sewer connections were not threaded so you couldn't seal your sewer hose to the sewer drain. smelled like sewer outside our trailer.

Very nice campground. Very nice RV spot. The reason it isn't a 10 is that there are two lane at the entrance and both have a stop sign and say check in before proceeding which then blocks the entrance if two people are checking in. One lane should be for check in and rvs can stop one behind the other and one lane should be for cars driving in who have already checked in earlier.

Everyone at Joplin KOA is friendly, helpful, and efficient. We have stayed with them on 2 occasions. Check-in is fast and we were escorted to our site. The pull through sites are easy to get in and out of. The park is well kept and has plenty of amenities. We will definitely stay with them again.

Our truck broke down west of Joplin and they were extremely accommodating to us. Found a spot where the tow truck could pull us into with our fifth wheel. Unhooked the RV and took the truck to dealer. No problem when we had to extend our stay.

Nice leveled spot. Staff very helpful. WiFi weak. Good for an overnight stop. It is near a truck stop but I did not hear road noise during the night.

It was very nice, mature trees and very nice check in person. Told me they make pizzas for campers, a nice bonus after traveling all day. My one observation for KOA in general, we do not smoke and the camper next to us smoked outside often and it carried over to us, which we strongly dislike . Perhaps have smoking/non-smoking sides. Otherwise our stay was very enjoyable.

Very large KOA with lots of green space. The sites are gravel and ours took a bit to level, even though the park is on a perfectly flat terrain. Lots of shade. The actual sites are quite a ways back from the entrance which is great. WIFI good, Cable TV good. Verizon good. The location is the only ding. Surrounded by commercial truck traffic at intersection of 2 interstate highways. Busy.

Shady and spacious sites. Not too far from the highway with little highway noise. Clean bathrooms could use some updating. Also would be nice to have a second bathhouse in the back of the campground. Other than that beautiful campground, great for dog owners with plenty of grass.

We've been staying at this location for the past few years as we head to the Midwest. Great KOA. Friendly and sites are generous. We opt for the site in the trees for both privacy and quiet. You'd never know that you are camped right off the Interstate.

Have stayed more than once and have enjoyed our stay but really do not understand nor agree with the dog park gate being locked and only being able to get in one way.

Super well organized staff.. the park is convenient and well appointed. Nice large dog play area.. The playground for children is good sized and safe..

Nice park with large pull thru sites. Has alot of wooded park area. There is a lake and a pond where you can feed the fish with food supplied by the park. Nice laundry and large restrooms. They will also deliver a pizza to your site for a fee. Close to everything. Would have given 5 stars but check out time is 10am. Haven't seen an RV park with such an early check out.
